I only discovered your channel last week and I love it. I am mad about snow, visited Tromsø in February 2019, going back this December. Love Arctic countries. But I have to ask what time is it you film these? It is all soooo peaceful with very few people about if any and little traffic. I live in England and you really have to go to remote areas to find such peace, otherwise there are crowds, drunk and loud people and tons of traffic 24 hours a day . This is so beautifully peaceful and beautiful. I'm subscribed and have recommended your channel to friends at work. Wonderful. Thank you.

I remember being slightly upset when i arrived in Tammisaari, the plan was to film the sunset, but i think it still turned out very well because of the beautiful blue hour effect. @@windermere2330 Yes, as long as i dress appropiately in layers, that's not a problem, although my hands do start to freeze if i hold the camera still for a long time. I also use heat packs in my gloves. Probably the thing that suffers the most are the batteries in my camera equipment.
The water and the lights on the water looks so beautiful. I can almost smell the fresh cold air. I also love how the trees branches look in the snow. I can hear the snow crunching under your feet 😁

Hello Sevy, thank you so much for these wonderful videos. My mother was from Finland and luckily her younger sister is still with us and so I have family there. I particularly love the Porvoo walk as that is where my aunt, her husband, and my cousin live. The last time I was there was in January 2018 and I did an evening walk, just like you in the video, in the Old Town with my cousin, a couple of times. Every time I am in Finland, especially in winter, with all the snow, I feel an immense sense of tranquility and peace. I also did an hour-long Nordic walking session with my aunt in her neighbourhood, just a 5-min drive from the Old Town, with all the beautiful Christmas lights still up in many houses. It was magical. So even though I can’t physically be there now, I feel more than present there in spirit thanks to your recrodings. Kind Regards from London!

I was so surprised to see such harsh white lighting. It is so cold and unattractive. I have viewed other countries who have the soft white and they look so much cozier and comfortable.

This question seems to recur in many of ScenesBySevy’s videos. In terms of color, they are not quite realistic. This might be an artistic choice, and these videos are not meant to be exact documentaries, I think. I also suppose that LED lights, especially blue tones, seem to be a bit challenging for cameras. And if the post-production leans a bit toward the colder side, it might seem that we like cold light here in Finland. However, as a Finnish person, I love these videos; they are absolutely beautiful with the blue and violet tones. They make everything seem like a fairytale.

I could be completely wrong, i would also like to know the reason 😆 I'm glad to know you enjoy the natural sound. The problem (not really a problem just my own personal tastes) is that I like to watch these at night in the dark and it stands out too much in that setting and sort of ruins the immersion for me. I still watch them and enjoy the scenery, but I do it in the day instead and watch other video channels at night.

Looks like pre- fabricated homes onto dug foundations? The houses look similar and their windows etc. makes for an esthetic look. Love it.

My mother was from Finland and luckily her younger sister is still with us and so I have family there.
I particularly love the Porvoo walk as that is where my aunt, her husband, and my cousin live. The last time I was there was in January 2018 and I did an evening walk, just like you in the video, in the Old Town with my cousin, a couple of times.
Every time I am in Finland, especially in winter, with all the snow, I feel an immense sense of tranquility and peace. I also did an hour-long Nordic walking session with my aunt in her neighbourhood, just a 5-min drive from the Old Town, with all the beautiful Christmas lights still up in many houses. It was magical.
So even though I can’t physically be there now, I feel more than present there in spirit thanks to your recrodings.

I was so surprised to see such harsh white lighting. It is so cold and unattractive. I have viewed other countries who have the soft white and they look so much cozier and comfortable.
Good evening Barbara, some areas are illuminated with bright LED lighting. The camera can make it look rougher white on the screen than in real life.

This question seems to recur in many of ScenesBySevy’s videos. In terms of color, they are not quite realistic. This might be an artistic choice, and these videos are not meant to be exact documentaries, I think. I also suppose that LED lights, especially blue tones, seem to be a bit challenging for cameras. And if the post-production leans a bit toward the colder side, it might seem that we like cold light here in Finland. However, as a Finnish person, I love these videos; they are absolutely beautiful with the blue and violet tones. They make everything seem like a fairytale.

Hey, you mean the channel logo in the bottom left corner? I try to keep it small and not too exaggerated.
@@ScenesBySevy yeah you do a good job of keeping it small. The problem (not really a problem just my own personal tastes) is that I like to watch these at night in the dark and it stands out too much in that setting and sort of ruins the immersion for me. I still watch them and enjoy the scenery, but I do it in the day instead and watch other video channels at night.
