As far as i now, the thing with Gifu's gearbox is that it has a very old type of transmission: mechanical non-synchronized. Such gearboxes are still used in some trucks, agricultural and construction vehicles due to their low cost. But they require more than just pressing the clutch.
In short, in reality the switching mechanism there is like this:
If you need to engage a higher gear (relatively speaking, switch from 1st to 2nd gear),at first, you press the clutch and engage neutral, then wait a little, and then press the clutch again and engage a higher gear.
If you need to switch to a lower gear (relatively speaking, from 2nd to 1st gear), you also press the clutch and engage neutral, but then you press the accelerator pedal, hold it for a second or two, and only then press the clutch and engage a lower gear.
Such difficulties are due to the fact that, unlike a synchronized mechanical transmission, in non-synchronized ones the driver must equalize the speed of rotation of the gears in the gearbox.
You can try this, maybe these rules work in the game too.

Technically you can drive without waiting but you do have to listen to the annoying sound
@@Gunfenetic it won’t move if you don’t wait, i’m on a steering wheel with pedals and a shifter so i have to rev match in the gifu and it won’t go before filling up

It is not air tank, it has to heat up. Air tank is used for brakes, it doesn't affect ability to move

for me the pain is to search the god damn car after getting to the game
I see this as an absolute win cause these things happen to be when i play the game.
The pain I have is replacing the fuel pump and water pump, they wear out way too quick. Replacing all ending components is a pain too 😢
they are not too hard though

in no.1 it's too low air pressure in the system and the best way to deal with it is reving the engine to redline until the sound disappears
gifu gears for me arent slow at all and i had a train thing when i finished the car and train almost hit me, i got a flat tire after
They arent slow, but when one cant rev match/plays with no auto-clutch, it sometimes doesnt want to change gears
Tymczasem problemy w satsumie, ktorych rozwiązania nie mozesz znalesc na yt, ani nie umiesz ich zlokalizowac, mimo uczęszczania do technikum samochodowego, a potem rozmontowujesz cały silnik zeby wymienić żecz działającą i gdy złożysz go ponownie nadal ten złom nie działa!

I flipped the truck one time on the highway because the green car rear ended me and it ended me drifting on the opposite lane I wouldn't flip it if there was no car coming

I never experienced the thing wit hthe Gifu's gears. Is it rare or does it have to be started cold and without the hand throthle?
Its just about rev matching, I dont think it happens when using auto clutch

Gifu isnt waming up its need presure in suspension for example for rear axle

actually you are not needed for gifu warms up you need to wait to get pressurize

in 300 hours of playtime i've never blown a piston surprisingly
happened to me in the first hour lmao, you're just insanely lucky
You must be pretty careful, I remember the first time I've built my satsuma, I was still playing on keyboard and accidentally missclicked, instead of clicking G i clicked B, and thats how I got rid of piston number 3 for the first time
I remember one day one of my pistons suddenly got out of the car on my way to teimo, didn't notice it until a bit until i felt like the car isn't going as fast as usual, then i checked that I have a piston missing. Found the piston on the ground, but engine has no cracks whatsoever. I was driving at low rpms too when it happened too

Bro the first time i blew an piston was doing the dyno while not paying for it, i was still on keyboard, i just reloaded my save cuz fudge no i aint replacing that

Stupid me thinking that the red light and the buzzing is from cold Glow Plugs. Its an Air Pressure light. I feel very stupid after finding out about this
