Hello, I am a Calculus instructor at a University in the midwest. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your channel as a resource. I have a link to this channel on my course WebSite so that students can review topics that they need to. Your clear and thoughtful explanations are a great service to many. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this channel!
you must be one of those failed teachers that doesnt know how to teach, i get those a lot. my terrible calculus teacher tells us to watch professor Leonard to get through the class cuz she sucks at it.
@@jamescoughlin8856 right, most useless professors dont know how to hold lectures instead tell students to read the textbook and watch professor Leonard videos if we have trouble. How is this "teaching"? These people get paid over $100k+ and does absolutely nothing besides tell people to read text book and direct their students to watch someone else's video because they suck at doing lectures of their own.
@@jamescoughlin8856 have absolutely no shame in being the most useless "teachers" some are no longer calling themselves "teachers" or "professors" instead call themselves "instructors" because all they do is ask students to read the textbook, use someone else's resource to learn while they put absolutely zero effort in teaching students and gets paid $100k+ this is why i never participated in the whole professor layoff thing, i think most do not deserve their job.
I’ve come so far in my 6 week pre calc course. So far averaging 97% and now I’m here for the unit circle, trig functions, etc. Thank you so much Professor Superman. -From an aspiring Mechanical Engineer.
I’m transferring to UAB this fall for that!!!! I definitely need to freshen up a my algebra and trig skills before Calc 1 in the fall. Then the fun CS courses:)
I've been waiting for Trig for a long time. I study Engineering and You inspired me to do math videos starting from Pre-Algebra to College Algebra in Arabic. Thanks.
Professor Leonard, I just wanted to tell you that you're a legend. your videos got me through Calc1,2 and 3 as well as Differential equations over the past 4 years. you've successfully explained what 10k a year engineering school tuition fees couldn't. I really wish you the best, you made me understand what I dreaded I wouldn't during those 4 years. Thank you
Thank you so much finally ! I’ve never got the ability to learn math correctly due to my professor until I found your videos I’m so glad you put Trig! I never learned it !.
I've waited 2 years for this. Finally. I will now resume my monthly patreon contributions. If you start with linear algebra then I will turn it in to weekly donations
Professor Leonard, thank you for a fantastic video/lecture on the Introduction to Angles. In order to understand the angles from a clockwise/counterclockwise direction, using the x-y coordinate system is very useful for understanding angles.
This lecture on angles triggered a question for me. I never thought of why 360 degrees in the circle. Why not another number?? i just accepted 360, after taking years of science and engineering courses. Well I looked it up in Wikipedia and found that there is historical ambiguity on its origin. Goes back to the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, etc. There does appear to be some consensus linked to the time of revolution of the sun around the planet, chosen as 24 units, where 360 is convenient mathematical number related to it. I suggest reading it. Quite interesting.
Thank you so much! Covid times let me scape with almost a 4.0 but in reality I understood minimal. You actually make it understandable! I will continue with your lessons. If I do this right I can go for engineering at bsu. Thank you for your time Prof. Leonard!
Crazy, just 3 years ago I was self studying math at a 4th grade level watching him for pre algebra now I'm taking trig annnnd im struggling so I'm here again.
Professor Leonard can you please show us your classroom tour? I can’t imagine your classroom looks like. Also, any photos you together your students? I heard they talking in the Prealgebra, Intermediate Algebra, Calculus I, II and III, but I can’t imagine my virtual classmates’ face looks like...
So cool 😎 I am interested in SOHCahToa and how it is related to finding the other angles like 45 90 45 and representing COG also I almost forgot about diameter
Sorry about the re-posting of this video, I had to fix a mistake :)
Its okei... Youre already doing a lot.. Please dont be sorry❤️❤️

Is there an estimate of how long the trigonometry section is going to be? :)

I am impressed with your teaching. Best wishes to you. I am a Professor in Medicine with interest in calculus and Math. You are a teaching star!!

Here I am Starting Trigonometry after spending almost one month in Geometry course, hope will end this course with great understanding and joy!
I badly needed this before starting your calc 1 course. Many many thanks, you are the best!!
Thank you for making these videos. I appreciate the effort you put into making these videos.

Don't need to watch the video, but gonna like it anyway

Thank you
I have always felt that Trigonometry heavily relies on Geometry.
Why is - 30 represented as thete and not alpha as the previous examples
Thank you so much
You guys should check his patreon description for supporting him $ 5000 a month :P
