Interesting to see the second camera in frame with the other one - having 2 viewpoints helps show the story of the trim by giving you options. I also missed seeing the cleaning out of the inside. Hope your cold gets better!
I'm curious. Why did you set the toe clip so deep? I've never seen that before. Did you leave the toe long knowing beforehand that you would be rasping that much off?
So maybe it's a stupid question, but in the beginning you always hit the hooves in that angle. I get that there are nails hit into it from the top, but what do they actually do? The ones from the bottom I can get but not sure about the ones that are hit into it from the top
He is straightening the end of the nail so that it can be easily removed from the bottom. The nails are long enough to protrude through the outside of the hoof and the farrier will clinch them over to reduce the likelihood of a thrown shoe.
Sorry for all the sniffing I have a cold!
Here I thought it was just you having to give a little extra elbow grease. 😂
Be safe, drink lots of fluids and keep warm!
Hope you get better soon!
Aww man. You skipped the cleaning? That's one of my favorite parts.
it was already clean 😪
Ok is he one of your routine customers?
You skipped the best parts though! :(
Agreed the frog is my favorite part
That hoof was definitely a challenge! Almost seemed like the horse was camera shy. 😅
Great video, Jake!
Got me sweating 😅
Thanks man!
Wow....this is realy big hoofs! Your work looks so hard, you a hero!
Excellent work. Hello from the Yukon, Canada. Thoroughly enjoyed your video man.
Nahhhhhh bro you did not just skip the entire trim for the filler….
That hoof still has a nail in it
Thought I'm the only 1 to pick it up😮

The smooth banjo was nice.
That reminds me we need to get my mother in law’s hoofs trimmed.
She have a cloven hoof?
Why did you edit out the best parts? 😔
Noticed there is a nail hole from 2 shoeings ago on the lateral side of the hoof wall that still has the end of the nail in it...
OOOH! HERE WE GO!
You should do an into to being a farrier, a beginners guide you could say. I’d love to learn
To mi this is just mesmerising
I'm going to go watch one that doesn't edit out the best parts.
I wish there was some audio to make these videos more interesting 😮
It's so big! 😂
I can feel your back pain 😢
Great job 👍

I wondered the same regards the toe clip.

How long have you been shoeing that horse?
आपने सर्वोत्तम भागों को छोड़ दिया
Sure left the frog way to thick.
Why aren t show the horse at the end for exemple how he walks?
Why didn’t you show us the rock and mail? Call me blind but I didn’t see either one.
