- The Fleet Forces Command recently dedicated a small Naval Aviation Museum at NASA's Wallops Island Visitor's Center. The ceremony marked the location of the former Naval Auxiliary Air Station Chincoteague and celebrated the announcement of a dedicated site for Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP) for E-2/C-2 aircraft at the NASA's Wallops Island Flight Facility. This short video honors the former NAAS Chincoteague, the current Goddard Flight Center at Wallops, and all the men and women who have served there and will serve there in support of E-2/C-2 FCLP efforts. If in the Chincoteague area, stop in and check out the museum at the Visitor's Center.
We did FCLP's at N.A.S. CUBI POINT, PHILIPPINES with VRC-50 1977-1980, I rode in the back.
