This is this best sounding 2t22 I’ve heard in my life
    They sound so great together

For those wondering, this is based off of the sirens heard in the McConnell AFB tornado video from 1991. The 2T22B was McConnell’s siren, while the 1000T was on Wichita’s old siren system. Both of them have been replaced.

@@sirensandaircraft9611 The 2t22b sirens were replaced around the 1991 in McConnell AFB per se with modulators after the tornado cut the powerline to it. In fact, all the air force bases were forced to replace their old sirens with giant voice systems. Usually, those old sirens are still in place for backup. The thunderbolt on the other hand was possibly replaced in 2012. The thunderbolt was located near both S White Oak Dr and the Watercrest hotels not to get confused on the replacement.

That is a legitimately famous recording, and the pitches are spot on.

I live in Minnesota and according to a siren map, there seems to appear to be fewer Thunderbolts than XT22s alone in MN. Which is odd because the closest XT22 near me is likely an hour or two away from me. However I'm fortunate enough to live a few miles from a Thunderbolt 1000T! Considering that's my favorite siren, and they may not be as common as said XT22s especially 3T22s surprisingly, it makes me all the more proud to live so close to one, considering MN towns and cities are known to just replace them when they start going out. White Bear Lake had a 4/5 port ACA Allertor and it was restored and is re-owned now by a town in Wisconsin. The fire department/Police Department building where the Thunderbolt 1003 was is now going through a demolition/remodeling. The 1003 was gone. Federal Signal 508 units replaced both of them. I'm hoping the 1003 will eventually show up somewhere! Whether it's restored and reinstalled in the new Department building as a Police and Fire siren and does Hi-Lo or something in that nature, or if it ends up in the daryland with the ACA Hurricane lol!
