I made one of these boxes and even lined it with felt. Great little project.

Hello.. I am new here... I want to know that you adjusted the kerf in your files??

Hi, no kerf compensation is drawn in these files. Slots are drawn at 3.175mm to suit .125ins or 3mm material. The joint tolerance is the kerf of your machine.

@@freelaserfiles So if I download and cut using your file there won't be any issue in joints?

Hi, that is impossible to answer. There are so many variables. We have a diode laser with a kerf of approx .06mm and a Co2 laser with a keft of approx .6mm. This difference could make a joint loose or a good fit. We have no idea what thickness of material you are using, or how accurate the material manufactures were when making the materials. We are based in Florida with a very humid climate, if we don't store our materials correctly, they tend to swell and increase in thickness. It is always a good idea to cut some test pieces and check what works for you.
