- This is my 1966 Volkswagen beetle. It's slammed on airbags and rides extremely low. Riding this low in an old bug on bags or static causes the rear wheels to have a lot of camber. I explain why in the video. I also briefly go over my wheels, tires, air setup and some other alignment issues.
Heres the photo album of the bags being installed. i had different wheels at the time.

I found some old smoothies and shipped them to Arkham Kustoms and he put new barrels on them and then I got them powder coated.
How did u roll the rear fender
With a 22mm socket (I think).
I wish I had the courage to lower my bug :((
It doesn't take courage. Just a little money. It's all reversible too, and usually adjustable.
@@carscream1650 I can’t decide if I wanna use the Monroe air shock or fab a single bag in the middle of the beam.. love your wheels/fitment! In the process of widening all the fenders😉
What wheels do you have?
Thayer custom made. I sent a set of old rusty smoothies to Arkham Kustoms and he cleaned em up and put new barrels on em. I had them powder coated locally. 8x15 and 5.5x15.
