Completely tragic this wasn’t exported as an RX9 with a 6 speed manual. If they were allowed to use this motor in Europe and the US I am sure it would have had 350hp. That interior is to die for.
When I first bought my (now sold) jcw mini I brought a set of brake calipers from a guy that had a 1992 eunos cosmos sitting right in the front yard. He said he bought it from South Africa years ago. It had a little bit of body rust and the seats were ripped a little bit, but it was still amazing to see one in person.
When I first heard about this thing I immediately knew that I wanted one, especially because of how cool the interior looks! With how rare they are I highly doubt that I'll ever be able to own one but it is definitely very close to the top of cars I would like to one day own
@@pyrodor I think it's pretty cool to run normal gas, get either V8 or twin turbo options, have a manual option, be faster (the 4th gen Supra had 330HP, not 280), and way more reliable; but I'm boring like that. Your car is sick dude but I KNOW it'll be a pain in the ass at some point.

the toyota soarer was the first production vehicle with a factory navigation
And it’s RWD, and reliable, and better
The Z30 (with nav) came to be in 1991, the year after the Cosmo
@@nathanchildress5596not sure about better 😌 still super cool

Good stuff! The Cosmo definitely doesn't get enough love in north America. It's my dream car and I hope to import one eventually.

Great video dude! I’d never heard of this car until now and it definitely gives me Silvia S14 vibes.
