The EE tips are stainless steel, which you generally don't anodize. A big benefit of steel is that it's a lot more flexible than aluminum, so the brake tip will bend instead of breaking. Then you can just bend it back into shape... Also protects your brake pedal arm itself, as the really beefy CNC pedals will just break the entire thing off.
I'll have to put that on my list. Just got the 23 TX 300 and one of the first things I noticed on the first ride was how sucked in and hard to get a boot on that rear brake is.
Clean Speed makes a nice little brake tip as well.

See i got it because it was not anodized. I like the raw look and the anodize wears off and looks bad after about a year.

Yeah this is my first KTM so I was lost trying to find the tiny rear brake pedal on the XC bike. Since the upgrade I have not missed it yet.
