About making the Easy Planter taller, what about making them interlocking. So that each planter bottom would fit onto each top, like a loose Lego piece. Then just need two for height but way easier to fit into shipping boxes.💡mentioned @ 3:10.50
Hi Cory! I just went over to Steenfott Aquatics to check out the koi moving video. I saw that he had a video about not doing water changes. I actually disengaged from the fish channels and had taken down all but one of my tanks, mostly because I couldn’t keep up with water changes anymore.
I just recently came back to membership on your channel, and saw you talking about not doing water changes. And the Steenfont video had a really interesting discussion on this. I let him know that I love the video and I would appreciate more content on successfully not doing water changes.
I’m going to search your videos for tips on that too. But I thought I would let you know that this is a new concept for me, even though I’ve been keeping Fish for at least five years. So I’m really interested in content about that…

@@daddysdachamp596 it was a while back, maybe four years ago or so. I caught one of the instances on Joey’s Instagram live sessions and he was complaining that Cory was quoting his DIY book (as if it was a bad thing Cory was giving him free publicity). Then making fun of his teeth and weight and saying he looks like Sloth from the Goonies in the same stream I think. Maybe cause I stopped watching him around that time and he’s polished up his public persona since then, but it was absolutely in his character to make fun of Cory and other people. He also went as far as threatening violence to Aquapros on a live stream with Mass Aquariums.
The chicken with the gelatinous skin (21:30) is poached. You break off a small piece and dip it in 2 consecutive bowls......the first has soy sauce and the second has sugar, then eat.......it is deeeelicious Cory!

If I got a job at Aquarium Co-Op that would be the greatest thing ever for me. Unfortunately all my experience is in a store or warehouse so there's no particular expertise I have to offer other than I just love the hobby and research 2-6 hours a day so I can inform customers at my current store as best I can.
Cheers Cory for bumping up the volume 👍. Another strainer option would a rainwater tank inlet strainer. Essentially a large bowl inlaid with stainless steel mesh, would be a great tool to segregate fish when needed in your ponds.
I don't know if it's "needed" to be that fine, but I'd love to see you design a test kit that doesn't involve me trying to match colors. I want someone to come up with a digital readout meter to take the guesswork out of testing your parameters.

Hey cory. Digging the new format. You seem to definitely be happier with it. I was wondering you opinions on undergravel filters with rooted plants like crypts. Planning a 75 gallon build.
I think you'll like the undergravel filter. Doesn't work as well with root feeding plants if you want to use root tabs. Make sure you use a substrate that won't compact and get stuck in the plate.

Same thing in my outdoor ponds & tubs... I get high chlorine readings... I'm in Sarasota, Florida, I thought it was from the branches/wood in them... I now add Prime once a month and haven't lost any fish since...

I know a week is basically a century in RUclips time...but man, this was so great even on replay. I’m just always so impressed by Cory’s down-to-earth personality. His kind spirit just always glows. I laughed so much about the shenanigans to keep Sassy safe; how you guys adjust and sacrifice your own comfort for Sassy reminds me of my mom. She also had such a kind spirit. I deeply agree that seeing a creature (human or otherwise) die is, indeed, the worst you can feel as a human. I’ve seen both my parents die, and countless pets over the years, and these experiences have permanently affected me. It’s truly awful. I can’t understand how anyone could find an animal dying to be funny...it doesn’t matter if it’s an invasive species, that’s no excuse for deplorable actions.
I totally respect and agree with you. I hate to see people killing animals and getting a kick out of it. Or even just smashing TVs, phones or anything for the sake of it. because that's what they seen people do on RUclips. It really doesn't help it when I'm trying to teach my son what acceptable.
Sad that these animal abusers are considered kid friendly content 😕
Thanks Cory I love what your doing. Your a grate guy and I love how much you are doing for the hobby and how much better you are making it. I would have never got so far in the hobby if it wasn’t for you and all your grate videos and live streams you have done. I did have one question. I have been watching a lot of the older videos again and I love how easy you made the videos and the daily dose videos I was just wondering looking back do you miss how it use to be when it was just you and a camera and you didn’t have to worry about the RUclips algorithm I no now you have a lot on the line with everyone’s jobs and the house and shop I think this would make a grate videos / question lol keep up the grate work and don’t for get to relax every now and then do t burn out supporting from the uk 🇬🇧
Back then I was worried about the algorithm as well. Because I wanted to grow. I'd say I have just as much fun now as I did back then. I'd say even more fun, when I get to travel the world and look at different fish farms and such. I wouldn't go back in time. But I am looking to find my perfect balance.

I live in Canada where you already can't get meds except stuff with methylene blue and malachite green and tea tree oil. So far so good and I've been able to treat the more common ailments.

Cory! I have a big question! Do you think the nano usb air pump could run 2 nano sponge filters? I want to run a plant3d snail tank by my betta tank, but I dont want to junk up more space with another air pump, as amazing as soundless as it is.
If it helps, I currently have 8 nano sponge filters running off of one nano usb air pump with no problems.

I don't like pineapple in any food other than with other fruits and raw and cold. I hate when i accidentally eat pizza or something and there is pineapple hidden under the cheese. Pineapple itself is good and pineapple juice is good but hate it in any hot savory dishes

@@ryanwilson5936 I mean they could, but tank critiques doesn't seem on-brand for them. Seems like there's potential for heated disagreements and hurt feelings, and the last thing Coop is going to do (I would think) is have people getting discouraged on their site. Plus there's no accounting for taste. But it's really a great idea! Maybe if you put in the energy to create a very polished format that solves all those problems and is inline with their ethics, they could link to you 🙂

Noticed others in live chat...ALL airline tubing that is in or under water gets hard in 6 months... I think it's just a Florida issue...? Or maybe a hard water issue...? The Aquarium Co-op is still the best I've used though, only the tubing under water gets hard, but stays soft out of water... Keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today...!

High CO2 actually triggers panic and the feeling of suffocating (not low O2), so would definitely NOT use CO2 to euthanize an animal. Helium can be used to displace O2 without causing a reaction.
