If i select a mediating and moderating variable that has been already Researched in previous literature..will that research work consider worthless or not? 😢

what is the difference between "value" and "value in the area"?
Value in the area is pertinent to the area of your study.
What if we adopt the same research model and framework but it is not tested in the context of our country? So, it will become our research gap. Right?
