He is best known for his role as the character of Keith Partridge in the 1970s musical/sitcom The Partridge Family. He was one of pop culture's most celebrated teen idols, enjoying a successful pop career in the 1970s, and still performs today.

Seems like it was so easy to interview David because he was always gracious and kind, with that sense of humor bubbling at the surface. Handsome man overloaded with talent. Sing with angels, sweet man.

David seems to have a healthy appetite here! Good for him! He probably burned a lot of calories in his Vegas shows. And he still carries on with the interview being funny and thoughtful.

He was so happy and oh so very gorgeous in his Vegas years! I'd love it if they would come out with a DVD of his Vegas shows. This interview was so much fun! Seeing him play with the lobster claw was hysterical. Never heard the story of his spandex outfits or the touching memory of his father. Miss him forever...

Every interview I have seen of David Cassidy is about The Partridge Family, being a teen idol, etc. I'm sure David would have preferred to talk about his music and love for rock music. After watching the A&E special, David really was a tortured soul in many ways. RIP

I just want to say Happy Belated Birthday! I wanted to say that on the 12th but was unable to get to a computer. I have been a fan since I was 15 . Actually my very first concert I went to alone with a couple of friends. was in Denver and was you. ahhhh Memories. I am divorced now with 2 grown kids and happy I am retired. Love you always

I know people view lobster as a rich person's food, but I can't eat "sea bugs" of any kind. Mussels, shrimp, clams, lobsters, calamari etc. are insects of the sea, people. YUCK!! Those servings are huge.

Yeah, he gives lousy interviews. For some reason, he dodges all the questions about the old days, and then either plugs something new instead that no one cares about, to make a buck, or, here he turns advice he got from his dad into self-congratulations. Gee, isn't that special? It's like he didn't grow up or something. Best advice? "You're so talented."
