About the pink free bus, in 1980's and 90's KL used pink colour mini buses as public transportation. This was based on a research in US that PINK colour can make you calm. 😂
I remember in 2011, when I decided to study at Universiti Malaya, I was kinda amused to see that some could eat using their hands. I think I didn't had any problems understanding British English cause I used to write articles for Singapore. In terms of food, I didn't like nasi lemak at Old Town but as soon as I tried different versions of sambal. My fave food though is still nasi kerabu haha. I can't speak BM very well but just enough to understand (cikit cikit, cari makan) haha. More than 10 years now, I would consider Malaysia as my second home.
Hi Lyn, thanks for watching our video. Yes we agree Nasi Lemak at Old Town is not really good but the authentic Nasi Lemak are the ones usually prepared by the locals at home. We have tried a few from our friends here. Glad to know you’ve been in Malaysia for that long as well! Hope to see u around!

Oh wow, you look good, girl! You remind me of Cher. I had to google what a "brownout" is. I think it's common in the interiors of Sabah and Sarawak, as well as on some of our smaller islands. Maybe. In KL, we only ever have blackouts. Either from improper wiring, from the ELCB/MB tripping due to a surge caused by a lightning storm (This happened quite often in my 30-year-old old house before I hired an electrician to fix it), or from a system failure (This happens rarely).
Wow thank you! Cher is legendary and we love her! Yeah in the Philippines "brown-outs" are very common especially in the provincial areas. There never come a week without electrcity disruption. Thanks for watching our video! :)

Filipinos particularly us we’re not malay our ancestors came from east Asia to be specific aboriginals in taiwan, they traveled down to The Philippines and scattered within the archipelago then traveled into the Pacifi Ocean that’s why Pacific Islanders and Filipinos have some common such culture, traditions, beliefs, foods even DNA. So basically we’ aren’t related to Malay race (Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei,Singapore) Are malay Family (Taiwan aboriginal, Philippines,Guam, Palau,Hawaii, Marianas Island, New Zealand Maori) are Siblings and cousins

So basically we’ aren’t related to Malay race
(Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei,Singapore) Are malay Family
(Taiwan aboriginal, Philippines,Guam, Palau,Hawaii, Marianas Island, New Zealand Maori) are Siblings and cousins

Hi Guys! Cee here, I've been watching your videos regarding living in Malaysia and having a life there since I'll be moving there by next month, moreover, I read some vlogs stating that LGBT is not accepted in Malaysia? I just would to know if this is true and how things work there for like us? Im sorry for the question but thanks and More blessings to you both. 🥰
Hi Cee, Kim here. I had the same thought when we first came here but honestly people here are more respectful, there’s no discrimination even when applying for jobs. At least for what we’ve observed over the past 7-8 years that we’re here.
