Love this pattern. Made the shawl and a baby blanket. The changing sides makes the pattern more interesting to look at and more interesting to crochet!
This is truly a beautiful blanket with the different granny patterns it like a throw back old time granny just became modern, truly beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thank you for a beautiful pattern
What a really beautiful and easy pattern. I think the idea of turning your work on any granny is so smart. It is the solution to struggling to make a clean straight beginning and end to the row. I really have a lot of wips BUT I'm making the excuse of using my unused yarn and starting this square today. Very creative. I learned to crochet from British tutorials! You are tops in my book. Thank you always.
Hi Rebecca your my go to channel for Baby blankets I’ve been threatening to do this years and have just started it’s a great pattern very relaxing looks great delighted with life thank you best wishes from Ireland ☘️☘️
Absolutely beautiful!! Rebecca, I watch all your videos in awe of how beautiful each & every one of your afghans truly are! In all my years of crocheting off and on I never knew there were so many lovely stitches & so many of them starting with the granny stitch. Rebecca thank you so much for giving so much of your time and talents with all of us ! God bless you !!!
I have several blankets started in this pattern and I absolutely love how they are turning out. They work up great with the different types of Mandala yarn. This is definitely one of my favorite patterns.
I have made this blanket 3 times and working on my 4th go round. Cake yarn works fabulous with this pattern. I have made all 4 blankets using Yarn Bee Sugarwheel yarn. It is fast and easy, and the texture is nice. I just wanted to say Thank You for posting this video.
@@ceribeedle4387 I did not have to use glue I used variegated yarn so not many ends to weave in also I made the boarder with popcorn stitch so cute with the pattern ☺️
I just started one at 12 am (EST) on 9/1/22, in RHSS "Newspaper Stripes". The pattern is so well explained that by the 5th round, it became muscle memory. Thank you so much, I've learned a great deal from you!
Its only taken me 2 1/2yrs. lol, but have finally gotten around to working up this pattern and I absolutely LOVE it. I've probably said "Thanks" before, but Thanks again Rebekah!
This is so COOL. I have been waiting to make a square blanket, but the regular granny squares was boring. Thank You for showing me something New and I was able to follow clear directions :)
I can't stop smiling, this truly is so beautiful and it is something I know I can make thanks to your expert tuition. Rebecca you have made my day!! I cannot wait to buy my yarn and get started, bless you x
Thank you, this is lovely ❤. I love the combo granny stitches, makes it very interesting in texture. It’s winter in Tassie and I’m making this next. Have just finished a large granny blanket sized square using variegated yarn. My cat has already claimed it! 😅
Thank you so much for this simple but so pretty pattern idea! Been doing it all day with some 4 ply cotton I've had no use for until now! Love it...Great pattern. Thanks!
I'm so excited for this video!!! Thank you soooo much!!! I learned crochet by making granny square blankets. Tried new stitches and then knitting and I'm coming back to crocheting and wanting to do granny square baby blanket but less holes. This is beautiful!!!
I'm so glad You posted this. I was getting ready to start a blanket with another pattern that I like but wasn't totally feeling. I love this pattern! Thanks so much for sharing!
Absolutely love this pattern! It's so simple yet it looks intricate and beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talent and helping us create these wonderful projects!
A friend recommended this blanket and when I saw it in the beginning, I expected a super complicated pattern. It looks so delicate and gorgeous. But it is actually quite simple. I need to a) improve my granny square skills and b) go buy another scheepjes whirl. 😍
I wanted to do something like this one for ages. Even though I have been crocheting for years my grannies always go wonky...I can't wait to try this one. I did attempt to turn on other patterns as I went but never sl st after the turn....so they were wonky too. Thnx for an easy to follow tutorial.
I love all things involving the granny stitch pattern in most any form. I have some lion brand mandala yarn in Unicorn that I think this will be perfect to use in a baby blanket. Can't wait to get started on it. I just finished a Countinous Granny square and enjoy working in the center out patterns. So definantely right up my alley for me:) thank you!
I'm not sure how I missed seeing this. I was scrolling back through your videos to find a favorite (inspired by the give-away, although I don't need yarn so won't be entering). Anyway, I came across this and was so inspired! It is just lovely!
Yeah you picked a absolutely beautiful color way for this stitch. I am going to make this....as soon as I get a fingering weight yarn 🧶 The yarn is Scheepies Whirl it calls for a 3.5mm UK and a G6 in US terms. Great pattern and a wonderful video , thank you so much!🥰
I would love the tutorial for the border you chose! Thank you for posting this ❤️ I am new to crochet, and this turned out beautiful 😍 so easy to follow!
Beautiful blanket. Thank you for kindly sharing. You're such a calming and clear teacher and love your videos. Definitely my next project.. Love & hugs Sweetie 💜 xx
Absolutely loved this tutorial. So very easy to follow. First time I have watched your tutorials but have now subscribed and after completing this blanket I will certainly choose another of your works to try. Thank you very much for all your help
I had already started this (loved it as soon as I saw it on Instagram!) using a mix of the Love Your Diamonds and 50/50 tutorials using Hayfield Spirit and white, but think it will actually make a great cushion cover! Thank you for your great tutorials
Beautiful Baby Blanket 👶💝! Thank You for sharing your awesome Tutorial 😊💝! One of my Sister's is going to be a Great Grandmother the end of November so I've got to get busy soon 😊💝!
Hi, Rebekah! I just finished another Granny Merge Blanket, based on your tutorial! It's for my sister and she chose the colors. I called it "Two Seasons Granny Merge" because the colors remind me of autumn and winter. Would love to show you!
Thank you for this excellent tutorial!👍 I've done this pattern before for a baby blanket ages ago and couldn't recall how to start it!😔 I have the written pattern on file, but was feeling lazy so hunted for your tutorial as I'd seen it online!😉 Awesomely easy following you Rebekah!👏 Have a great weekend.🌞 Blessings from South Australia.💕🐨
I'm working this pattern using *I Love This Yarn* and an 8 mm crochet hook. I'm hoping to get the baby's blanket done before he starts teething. He's almost here... 🤪😃
Oh wow, this is stunning! I’m going to be selfish and make myself a blanket and I can’t wait! I love the effect of the yarn, decisions, decisions! Thank you so much for this💕🙏💕
I love this pattern and using it for a large granny square blanket xx however I wondered if it would work on a rectangular granny blanket xx what do you think x
What I would do, personally, is once you've done the final slip stitch into the top of the Chain-2 (at the end of a round), I would then drop the first color, pick up the next, and use the new color to slip stitch into the corner space to then begin the next round! Hope that makes sense.
Love this pattern. Made the shawl and a baby blanket. The changing sides makes the pattern more interesting to look at and more interesting to crochet!

Excellent easy to follow tutorial. Makes a big beautiful blanket quickly and easily. I made my own ombré by changing the color every 4 or so rounds.
Sounds very nice! 🥰
This is a beautiful combination for the granny squares. I was directed to this after seeing the poncho. Thanks for the great ideas. Hugs 🤗 😇
Thanks so much 🥰
