TC is such a god I love it. ToD is the perfect villain too - a very strong player with virtually no redeeming qualities. Its just so fun to watch him lose to Grubby. I'm alone at my apartment and this game had me actually cheering out loud
Bruh EXACTLY, like how often in real life do you get to see two rivals where one guy makes for such a perfect villain. Like in every movie, even not action movies but even comedies or dramas, the villain is still an asshole who is rude, stabs people in the back, kicks dogs, and other just generally scummy stuff. But it never happens that clear cut in real life, there are always two sides to a story. EXCEPT here, where ToD genuinely makes it so easy to just hate him, and it makes these match-ups SO much more exciting.

I don't know. I find the bolt dodge at 20:05 with the invisible wolves to be much more masterful, albeit, not game-changing. Grubby actually anticipated him to throw his hammer at the wolves, so he attacked with them once and went back to invisibility. With the invulnerability potion, you know the bolt is coming for you and you know you need to pop the potion when your hero is in critical condition, you only need to be quick enough about it, which is "easier" when the MK is far enough from the targeted hero.
That was the highest and intenst game i have seen so far! Fighting down to the bones for every little bit and especially at the beginning so much focus from gruppy!!!

31:40 So after the game grubby checked the replay and he explained he knew he may come with invisible mk from somewhere. So he is clicking on the invul and then literally at 31:55 mk apears at the edge of vision with storm bolt. That is 15-10 second decision making that changes everything. He should of lost.

Very skilled play by both. I was laughing imagining what ToD was saying, after his AM died. Do we have a live stream of it from his channel? Grubby, didn't ToD just win a tournament recently? So, if you were able to beat the tournament winner, maybe you would have decent success competing in tournaments again. Would love to see more high level matches between you and Moon and you and Happy, competing for the top prizes.
I think grubby both earn more from streaming, and he can chill more w streaming than competative games. But Its No doubt he could perform in competitions if he wanted to 🙂
Absolutely legendary game! I was sure Grubby had lost it several times during the game, but this God of a man beat ToD's armys again and again, which we're sometimes much larger then his own, just by out thinking his opponent. WOWZERS! GG
Epic game! Grubby knows the nuances of economy so well, the power of items, and the tiny differences of exp that gives the levels that make the difference! Bravo to both, I felt like ToD got a little greedy still trying to creep that bottom right camp, also when he had the edge army and economy-wise, he could have pulled back and leaned on that.
Yeah, getting legion doom horn was HUGE for ToD, but he also lost both his hero's, which in the end lost him the game just because of the gold and exp turnover that happened with those 2 hero kills.
Legend says that TOD still waits in front of Blizzard office to propose Riffles buff. +10 damage and Riffles move speed equal to DK with unholy aura level 2.
Come on ToD has beaten him plenty and is a similar caliber player. Grubby's strat is on a roll right now but things swing back and forth, even he would tell you that.

I don't understand how ToD kept throwing his heroes at Grubby like over and over and over again. Never had 1 invul on them and he could have researched sorcs invisibility looong time ago. This way he could have saved them 3-4 times minimum and at such high hero levels, even saving a hero from dying once has lots of value and could be decisive of who will win in the end. Great game nevertheless. Far sight at the end was awesome and really smart to remember that it can be used in this situation but I don't think that this is what decided the game's end as it was already over imo.
Nah, dunno. Would be dumb by him being upset about that, since overall its more or less 50-50 between them. Then again, ToD gets triggered by nearly everything. lol

Okok PLEASE GRUBBY TELL ME THIS!!! at 22:04 when ur heros were level 5.5 each and u killed the MK and turned on speed scroll, the red camps main unit that dropped devotion aura was at 18% health and im DYING to know why u didnt go down there, kill it, and grab the item. His army had no health and you just killed the hero plus you speed scrolled all the way down so by the time you got the item if he wanted to follow you, you would have got it and been walking away. Please tell me why no item!!!
