Exceptionally nice restoration in and out. It runs and functions real nice too. The deluxe comes with dual horns, mirrors, taillights and a taupe color dash. Same owner the last 14 years, he put about 3,500 miles on it.
EXTERIOR: It's a very handsome car with suicide rear doors, a humpback trunk and a rear mounted spare. Great colors too. Original Cinnabar red color with the contrasting cream colored wire wheels and white walls really pops. The body in this car is real solid and straight. No damage or rust. The doors don't sag, they shut real nice. The rear fenders are fiberglass. The paint is smooth and glossy everywhere I look. The fender welts were replaced, running boards were recovered with correct rubber and the roof insert was replaced. All of the chrome trim is very nice. The windshield frame is original chrome and has some age. The wheels were repainted glossy, the center caps with V8 emblem were replaced. The white wall tires are correct reproduction with the Ford script. It has Ford script headlight buckets with glass lenses and correct taillights. Other features include a locking gas cap, bumper gaurd and working crank out windshield. I think the glass was replaced except for the windshield. The rubber gaskets and window channels were replaced.
INTERIOR: It looks like a new 1935 Ford inside. Correctly reupholstered seats and door panels in mohair. The headliner and visors were reupholstered. It has replaced handle straps and rear shade. The handbrake lever, gear shift and cowl vent handle where replated. The interior metal was repainted. The knobs, steering wheel, instruments, handles and cranks look real nice. It has a unique window defroster on the dash. The wiring was replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has the correct flathead V-8- a 221 cubic inch making 85 hp. It was rebuilt in 2012 and runs as quiet as a mouse in slippers. New carburetor and fuel pump. When it was rebuilt it was also detailed. Everything's real nice looking- cloth wrapped wires, correct hose clamps, restored generator. The firewall is painted same color as the car. It has some components for a heater/defroster, missing the manifold cover.

WOW! Another one that leaves me in awe. Great colors in and out, and the fit appears to be perfect, as is the finish. I love watching such pieces of work turn, and the lights bringing out every point. Kudos to the restorer, and to Volo for the pick!! And again, I am astonished at the price ..... Another one I expected to be thousands more! Great production .... very well done. Again, many thnx for all that you do. As one viewer stated earlier, these showings have become one of the highlights of my days.
P.S. After watching the rest of the video, I had forgotten how neat the sound is of the old flat-heads, and that beautiful, distinctive 30s/40s gear whine as they start out. What nostalgia! I would've been taken home in a Dodge, which was of similar body style. I chuckled when you mentioned the mohair interior. Lol ....

Nice car and always enjoy your videos Jay. But there's just one thing I find consistently annoying; The camera's autopanning usually goes way past the subject matter.

Watching the video back, it doesn't seem like the panning shots go that far past. Do you have a specific one or example you are talking about?

@@VoloMuseumAutoSales Most of your top down pans go past the subject down to the floor. But it's not that big of a deal Jay. Everyone has their own shooting style and I think you do a great job presenting these vehicles in detail. Thanks for your reply!

If you really want to sell this or any car don’t you think it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with the switches and other specifics of the car so as to appear well informed and a professional, This will only take a matter of a few minutes and if your family has been in the business as long as you say wouldn’t it make a much better impression to know your cars. You also state you personally inspect and purchase most of them. I realize some items on older cars may not work but it sure comes across better if you say “the heater blower or wipers are inoperative “ but we will repair that, than to turn them on and find out they don’t work. When that happens my first thought is how well did you check this car out? The body, and chassis aren’t the only things that need checking. You have some great cars but your presentation could be a little better. Get your mechanics to check them out and inform you of what they need or repair what they need so they will show better. Maybe you can sell everyone you get in but this is just a suggestion not a criticism.
