However when I took it to my game I reallised on day 2(not day 1) that splitting the wood has to be done with low strain heft and not with strain. Hopefully I will keep splitting the log with heft and ease.😄
I was skeptical until I tried this lumberjack drill. Yes, I stayed wide in transition and picked up some yards. Thanks for an interesting swing thought that works.
Shawn, would you consider creating another student series like the one you did with Chantal? I always enjoy the aha moment from the students and I somehow think your other subscribers will too.
Would love to! The problem is that we have the majority of our students in French here is Quebec City…Next English one I get from out of town, we will make a nice series!
@golflessons until then, we can use auto caption feature 😁 or there must be some french speaking subscriber of you that doesnt mind to do a subtitle. Looking forward to that series!
Shaun, I see you have a pause at the top, is this something you came with! or did you have to train your brain to do so- I thinks this is the way to go.Great stuff as usual.
The pause is a natural byproduct of using momentum to deliver the axe or the arm club unit. I am not thinking about it, it just happens, especially when you are not fighting with the club!
Shawn/Sav, do you recommend less of a stronger grip set up for those of us playing off-set irons rather than blades with no or less off-set? Really enjoyed the "pause". Tried into net and it was brilliant. Asked the question because trying it in screen golf match next. I guess like anything--will figure it out trying. Thanks for the lesson!
Yes sir! Key is to deliver the whipping action into the direction you want to start the ball and see what pattern emerges. Too much curve left (with full confirmation the peak speed was past the ball) then back off the grip until you see the flight desired. Make sure you see “pulling shots left shawn clement” video too
Ahh cone on man, so many great players in the hall of fame have used a super strong grip like Couples and Azinger! This grip is super accurate! Her middle name is miss wedge!
The important information is loft. Tradition lofted clubs 6 iron is 30-31 degrees. Game improvement irons can be 22-24 degrees (4 iron territory in traditional lofted irons). I'm not sure what irons she's hitting but I suggest she would need 4-5 wedges at her club head speed and top out at 5 iron. She's a long drive hitter so she's atypical.
Just what I was missing and looking for. Thank you.

Right on!
As always a fantastic video. I love how natural it is. Effortlessly powerful 👊🏻
This feels so good and powerful! Just had a sweet lefty session and closing in on 120 MPH!
Definitively an aha moment !!!! now to bring it to the range , then the course.... wish me luck 🤞
Let’s Go!! 💪👍🔥
I would love for you to find a lumber jack and see how they do. Would be an amazing experiment of using their natural instincts.
I was just thinking about that too!! Great minds think alike!!

@@golflessons Great--as always! Thanks for another lesson. ***Yep, that video lesson "left/pulls" had the answer and more.
I was just think about the most important thing for speed swing as hard as u can from the top.
Nanananana--
BLISS ON A STICK!!😀👍🔥
Could we see less of him and more of her please? 😊
Creepy
She gets that a lot! 😝😂
Her clubface is insanely shut at the top because of the extremely strong grip. Irons are about accuracy, not distance

Why do we need to hit a 7 iron over 200 yards again?
POWER TO SPARE!! Effortless power!
If you can hit it 200 into a net then you can hit it with extreme accuracy 175-185 with a 3/4 swing.
