Cheryl do u work with bare copper wire or does it has a non tarnish coating??

    • @cherylst.pierre3148

I work with bare copper wire. If you are talking about enamel coated wire, I do not recommend it for this project. You see the center is copper however you really are working with a finer gauge of wire then because the enamel takes up some of the room of the gauge.. If that makes sense, then it makes the wire weaker, also the hammering can affect the enamel as well. In most cases I love how copper looks when it gets darker, but I do sometimes use a spray lacquer to keep the shiny look.

Ok thanks so much for answering. And using bare copper is the one that has the health benefits

Absolutely! When I went to a bone specialist a while back, he noticed that I was wearing a copper bracelet. He put his hand on my bracelet and said to me " You keep wearing this thing. There is absolute scientific proof that copper not only helps arthritis it can help prevent it!"
