Thank you so much for this well done tutorial! I have struggled with wire wrapping/weaving & had given up. Then I came across your channel & have been very successful through your tutelage! THANK YOU❣️🇨🇦
I love that you mention a left and a right for your earring designs. Your tutorials are very clear and easy to understand, including how difficult the wire can be, not going how you want it to. Thank you so much.
LOVE your methods of teaching!! You're close up camera angle, pleasant voice, well-groomed hands and nails and most of all the lack of constant chatter and repetition that all the other channels have. Your verbal instructions are very clear and precise to where any level or age group can understand. Thank you so very much!
I live your initial locking method at the beginning. So much prettier than starting with 3 wraps which doesn’t always look nice in the pattern. You have such finesse!
Thanks Cheryl, your earring designs are the best. Loved how quickly these came together and using a variety of different beads and changing the sizing makes them all look different. I expect these to be very popular.
Wow you are a true artist, I just joined and I’ve just finished my first attempt, needless to say they weren’t as error proof as yours but I will wear them and keep practicing! Thank you for sharing your creative teaching videos! Blessings, Deborah M.
They certainly are amazing, thank you so much for teaching us. I have followed the principle of your style to make a mother of a bride a beautiful pair of earrings. I certainly appreciate this so much 💖😄
That is fabulous... I dont often get to watch someone wear a pair of my creations, however this pair I have.. These are so stunning on. I am sure she will love them. These are one of my faves.
Yes I certainly can appreciate that thank you. I am making a second pair lol. One pair the first one I made with a two millimetre aluminium wire. And a clear acrylic beads. They look so amazing. But because she wears clip earrings I am making a smaller pair with humble wire and beautiful bottle green glass beads which are her favourite colour. They look so dainty and yet beautiful. I just thought to let you know that you are so very kind and are doing a wonderful act of kindness 💖
Thank you... I know I am not always on point so to speak.. I used to teach classes in a rock and gem shop and I try to teach the same way I did there.. I just do not get the questions or the asking for help. lol
These are so beautiful! I’m very new to wire wrapping, but I’m going to try making these today. And, I totally agree with you about the measurements. The more I focus on exact measurements, the more messed up I get. For me, eyeballing the design is the way to go. Besides, I’ve never had anyone walk up to me with a tape measure and start measuring my jewelry. LOL. Thank you so much for making this tutorial. It is very detailed and thorough. Perfect! ❤️
@@cherylst.pierre3148 You're very welcome, and I'm actually wearing these earrings today. They turned out lovely! I tried to tag you in a picture of them on Instagram, but I'm still learning how all of that IG stuff works. LOL
@@OG_Beckie_Leigh i have given up on Instagram. I just do not have time for it. With running a daycare in my home during the day and trying to keep up with everything. My time for such things is limited.
Cheryl St.Pierre Oh wow! You’re a busy lady! I just wanted you to know that you were given credit for the design. If it weren’t for you and other talented designers who I follow on RUclips, I’d be lost. Everyone who sees these earrings has a fit over them, and I owe it all to you for sharing your beautiful design and tutorials. ❤️

I've had 20 beads of Sleeping Beauty turquoise, for over 4 years, not knowing what to do with them. Now I know. Thank you. Lots of individual pendants. LoL
I remember responding to your comment, I wonder if they made it through and then were deleted when they changed the format... do you remember me responding? Thank you.. Sleeping beauty turquoise is such a wonderful color of turquoise.. pricey too.
I’m 62 years young and just beginning to learn wire wrapping. Love your tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing. Love how precise you are and your tips. Have a wonderful day.
I love this! ❤ It's so pretty! 🙂 I didn't know the name of the weave was 3/4 (or 3-quarter) but I've used it a lot. I just think of it as repeatedly doing a figure-8 around the base wires. LOL! Thanks so much for sharing your tutorial (and for the inspiration!). 🙂
Thank you, it is 28 and 20.. 26 gauge actually causes my tendonitis to flare up, so I avoid it like the plague.. But close ups really play on perceptions for sure..
That is one of my challenges.. There are so many tutorials out there that teach this and really didnt think it was needed.. I will work on something.. not sure when.
Sorry for butting in. She does beautiful work, huh. You should see her tutorial for the heart and bead pendant. It's absolutely precious! ❤ Btw, to help prevent marring, especially on silver plated wire, I put duct tape (that's what I had on hand) over my pliers and try not to give my wire the death grip. LOL! 😀 I've only been doing this a year and it just took a little practice. Applying tape is cheaper than buying nylon jaw pliers. Tape really helped me. Maybe it can help you too. Cheers! 🙂
I am only promoting the first two levels. I think I will take down the others. the $1.99 a month gives you access to just my tips and techniques videos, plus the ones on regular youtube.. The $4.99 a month gives you access to my retired videos. Once videos are 2 years or more old I make them private to this membership. plus you have access to the tip tutorials as well.
It has been a while since I made these.. I would recommend trying 7 inch lengths of 20 gauge and weave 1/4 inches longer.. so use 6 inches longer weaving wire 28 gauge. Hope that helps.

Cheryl I'm having no luck splitting my wire when you make left and right. 1st pair didn't work 2bd pair worked 3rd pair didnt work. What am I doing wrong?
I would have answered a little sooner but I needed to review the video to refresh my memory.. I have reversed the earrings myself and I believe I talk about this in the video. At the stage when you pick which side of the weave is the neatest, I ask you to bend one of the top wires ( opposites) and carefully set one of them making sure you keep the top on top.. This maybe what is happening.. one is flipping over on you.. To assist you could make a small mark with a permanent marker on the back of the weave so that you will know which is front and back. I hope this helps.
That is hard for me to answer as I do not know what it is you have done... Can you find me on facebook.. you could friend me and then I could just add you.
It could be a few reasons, could be chemicals, like swimming, hot tub. If it is brown it could be mousture in the air. You can take a nail buffer and buff it to get highlights out of your piece. Unless you are talking about unused copper on a role. That has never happened to me with copper, only silver. I need more info.
Cheryl, I made these earrings for the first time and loved how they turned out! I'm starting an Etsy store and wanted to ask permission to sell the earrings giving credit to you for the design. Would that be ok?
