Living in England, I watched through both your collection videos , and right at the end was Gibson. I have done scores of jigsaw-puzzles and rate Gibson's quality along with Ravensburger and Clemontoni. One big advantage of Gibson over Ravensburger is that the picture is shown both on the lid , and the bottom of the box - unlike Ravensburger. This enables me and my friend to each look at the picture - an advantage with the 1,000+ puzzles. The other advantage of Gibson is the type of pictures. Gibson have produced dozens of village scenes, with old cars, bakers, postmen and all sorts of activity; they have also produced many small UK harbour scenes , again full of detail. My taste is for pictures with lots of activity; scenes of misty mountain with a small castle, seems so boring. Gibson would be expensive in the US , presumably because of the shipping . Maybe thy just don't have a business model to expand your way. In England, Gibson and Ravensburger are priced about the same. One last tip: Try a Wasgij brand to get your brain working. These are good quality made, I think , in The Netherlands. Good luck with your channel.
Since posting this , I have discovered Jumbo puzzles featuring Van Haasteran pictures. These Netherland made quality puzzles are packed with interesting, humorous , action figures and a number are 1500 pieces , and larger . I recommend them to keen puzzlers.
I really prefer Clementoni over Ravensburger, exactly because of the tightness. It is so satisfying to lift up large parts of the puzzle without it falling apart.
They may fit too tightly for some of us. If you live in a humid climate like our family does, the cardboard pieces swell ever so slightly. That has caused problems with every Clementoni puzzle we've tackled. It might be a northern Europe vs. southern Europe thing. I always keep a piece of cardboard card stock on hand to slip underneath for moving assembled sections around with the looser fitting brands. And I have to admit that I kind of enjoy the rapid disassembly of those looser brands!
Thanks for this video! I haven’t done a puzzle since I was younger, I’m trying to get back at it, and I see there’s a lot more puzzle companies out there than I knew. So thanks again for this video, I will definitely check out some of those puzzles out.
Have you ever done a Tomax jigsaw puzzle. I want to buy the one called African Paradise 1500 pc. It is a lower priced jigsaw puzzle and I am a little worried about it perhaps being too cheap and the quality not being there.
I prefer the clementoni, schmidt and ravensburger ones, the ones i don't like and a brand you didn't review is the king puzzles, not much variation in pieces almost every piece is like two tabs, two holes and it gets really boring do to the king puzzles and the pieces aren't soft clicks like clementoni, ravensburger, ... . There like really thin pieces.
@Martyna Rogalewicz I really don't like the brand as pieces fit in multiple slots and that's a downside for me. Otherwise it's medium quality. They don't lock strongly though
@@warsquirt The Masterpieces puzzles appear to be sourced from the same manufacturer who produces puzzles for Milton Bradley and Buffalo. Those are decent puzzles in my experience.

What about Galison, Eeboo, BetterCo., Ceaco, Cloudberries, Areaware, Bgraamiens, Ilov Puzel
Please do more puzzle videos. There's a shortage of puzzle youtubers :(

I found clemontoni really bad, very poor fitting. I was quite shocked at the quality of fit decrease going from heye, ravensburger, Schmidt and jumbo

Why Eurographics isn't rated?

What about the brand "King" i've seen it around here and there.
My goal is to collect a sample of every brand. I haven't come across that brand yet.
@@userchannel6596 have you heard of the brand Masterpiece or Vermont puzzle company and if so what do you think? Great video!
