I do this journey all the time it’s not so great , I do it again in 3 days then I will go again in 3 weeks. It’s like £350 business class or £35 standard class I’ve been on all classes of the train . It all gets you to same place you can buy food onboard but the couple hundred extra for the meal they serve isn’t worth it.
@@BoskiM I always look I’ve seen it come up for like £1 . If I had a travel companion I probably would. But I take a train to London from Yorkshire and then Eurostar so that long as well. I don’t think business class is worth it for faster line really it moves quite well .

Another best part, there's no luggage or weight restrictions on what you can carry, so you can shop in Paris and not worry about the weight of your luggage (as long as you can carry it)😊
That's one of things that I preferred about Eurostar when I travelled to Paris and Brussels ☺️ But it is more expensive than flying, so I tend to stick to the airline weight limit these days. 😑
Not completely true I'm afraid - you're allowed 2 suitcases and a smaller hand item like a backpack but they all have to be under certain dimensions. Like OP says you have to be able to lift everything yourself around the train and through security checks. But it's really good that you don't have to worry about weight and liquids and I hate flying so I enjoy it a lot!

It is a train that at some point travels through a tunnel deep undersea. It is not an underwater train. I used to drive trains for London Transport (London Underground) for years.

The tunnel is beneath the sea floor, and not directly through live water. Even the subways of New York trains are beneath the river beds. Also in Japan, it's under the sea floor. Only submarines traverse directly through real water. Trains need stable ground. So it should be termed "under sea floor trains" than what common people generally think it to be

We have same train in Istanbul when you go from European part of Istanbul to Asia part of Istanbul . Turkey have the most amazing underground train lines in Europe. You can be in underground moving around only in Istanbul for over 3 hours just to get to different parts of Istanbul without seeing the sky

I tried from Amsterdam to Paris during the night 👍I was helped by a good Person that lift up my luggage not to block the aisle while I fall asleep too tired and put it again on the aisle before he left, so when I woke up in Paris easy to drugged it was around 12 am. May GOD Blessed Him and Rewarded him Thank you. The Paris train station was saved, someone a handicap person approached me to lend me his phone card but I have to pay. It’s ok . I called my husband and after I got a taxi to go to my husband hotel ( he was in the airport he thought I was using airplane plane)- a good memory, in Paris I took a chance to take a picture in front tunnel where the late Lady had accident.
