I ordered my P530 5 months ago. It has arrived at my local dealership, but with some issues already... there was a recall that had to be taken care of at port before coming to the dealership, so the delivery date was delayed by 2 weeks. Then, the delivery... well... has not happened yet, as there is a nationwide dealer software issue and they cannot make the delivery of the car. The electric side steps were not installed (although ordered), and the extended leather on the dashboard was not installed either, although I ordered it. So now I have a beautiful black and ivory interior, with an ugly, cheap looking upper dashboard. Looks like insulation materials. I haven't received the car yet and I am already fed up with it.

I know people hate these replied but i'm now on my 5th Range Rover. Only one was ever returned to the dealer for a fault and that was down to a poor dealer not Jaguar / Land Rover. The remaining four only ever went to the dealers for routine servicing. In all cases, I've always been given a spotless Land Rover, Range Rover or Jaguar courtesy car.
I think you made a mistake by going so small with the Range Rover in the USA market. There are at least a dozen SUVs that size in the US They all cost considerably less than a Range Rover. I can't make an argument for keeping them bigger other than they would sell better in the US.
I believe him, from what he just said, I think you can still go ahead and buy one, but you need another car. I don't think it would be a wise choice to go with a Range Rover on Long trips.
What's amusing is all the breakdowns have happened within 1 year of ownership, on a brand new rangerover. It can only get worse from here. Land/ Rangerover is just never beating the allegations🤣🤣🤣
@@morten_hannesbo that’s good to know. I used to have Porsches and Maseratis, Boxster, Panamera and Quattroporte, but my wife no drives a Levante and I’m leaning once again towards Porsche. I like the new Cayenne.
An Opel Corsa loaner for a top-of-the-range JLR product? That's not even the same brand, let alone the same parent company. At Mercedes-Benz they loan you an A-class or B-class, irrespective of the car it replaces.
@LandRover needs to go experience life with a @Porsche @Lexus and see why they are rated the best in customer service, functionality, durability, and reliability, and what gets me going with the current ordering of very few options of interior color choices. They also put Tan/Beige on the dashboard, which caused a harmful reflective glare on the inside of the windshield/windscreen, which caused driver visibility issues. Which common sense lacking designer/engineer thought that was a good idea is beyond me; they should be fired for that alone; at these price points, we should be able to customize the interior design the way WE want to, not the way LRUK wants.
These new models will start the end of LR. The greater use of chips are the achilles heal. The prices squeese the buyers into a smaller group. How can you survive this business model? They need to drop these cars and build for the masses. That would be under 50K.
Can’t argue with that and I always wanted one - had the Queen’s for six months - but with the problems outlined it’s just too much. Also, when my GV80 went in for a service (which they collected for) my loaner was another GV80. I really, really want Range Rovers to be brilliant but their reliability it’s just too much of an issue for the prices.

I think you made a mistake by going so small with the Range Rover in the USA market. There are at least a dozen SUVs that size in the US They all cost considerably less than a Range Rover. I can't make an argument for keeping them bigger other than they would sell better in the US.
I drive one and no issues after 36000 miles . I might need to replace the wipers tho 😂😂😂😂
@@damienh9389 😂
I believe him, from what he just said, I think you can still go ahead and buy one, but you need another car. I don't think it would be a wise choice to go with a Range Rover on Long trips.
😁It never left me standing.
What's amusing is all the breakdowns have happened within 1 year of ownership, on a brand new rangerover.
It can only get worse from here. Land/ Rangerover is just never beating the allegations🤣🤣🤣
l322 = 7.5l diesel from lausanne to saint tropez on average ;)
Not bad! I have an average of 8.5l/100 km.
Minor issues?? You pay that kind of money for a new car you don’t expect nor want to be back at the dealer at all!
yes....but all cars seem to have something, with the exception of the Audi Q8 50 TDI I had
@@morten_hannesbo that’s good to know. I used to have Porsches and Maseratis, Boxster, Panamera and Quattroporte, but my wife no drives a Levante and I’m leaning once again towards Porsche. I like the new Cayenne.
This looks too soft. It’s not a real Range. It’s lost that masculinity
@@RellupNorth That masculinity was gone already in 2013 with the L405, but yes, agree, the L460 ist soft, contemporary luxury.
An Opel Corsa loaner for a top-of-the-range JLR product? That's not even the same brand, let alone the same parent company. At Mercedes-Benz they loan you an A-class or B-class, irrespective of the car it replaces.
@@deviation1000 agree
Lexus are the best choice if you want reliable high end luxury suv
@@4250saeed ...and a bit boring, too😁
Maybe, but no comparable models are on sale in Europe.
Problem with the “luxury” brands nowadays is that they want you to pay like a king but treat you like a peasant after😂
@@wpz11 🤣
5 unplanned visits to the dealer in 12 months is way better than most JLR products. Bunch of jokers.
😳Certainly not good!
15000 km ? Get it over 150000 km then we will see.
brb to the comments section with my own rrover just give me around 5 years to finish my MBA and graduate please :D

Is Tata slowly taking over range rover . ??
Or Range rover this bad all the time
Too much bloody software in these new cars..
@@rom3756 yes....
Too many issues for a new car 😢
@@emeraldmutahi2856 agree
So they sold you the car without checking it was working 😂. Then continued to make mistakes.
Blimey, all those issues! Just get a Genesis GV80.
@@charlielanghorne7901 Smile...Genesis a great car but it is not a Range Rover
Can’t argue with that and I always wanted one - had the Queen’s for six months - but with the problems outlined it’s just too much. Also, when my GV80 went in for a service (which they collected for) my loaner was another GV80. I really, really want Range Rovers to be brilliant but their reliability it’s just too much of an issue for the prices.
Internet connection... No thanks

They are garbage for the amount of money you are paying for them
@@4250saeed Range Rovers of later generations are much better than their reputation but not perfect. But neither are Cayennes, Q7, X5s nor even LandCruisers.
Hi 👋 I’ve had 3 range rovers, my first was a P38, second and third were L322s. They were excellent 👌 I was tempted to go to a Evoque, but I have no idea that’s a foolish move or not. 😳, I’m a little scared to go for a new big Range rover, so much to go wrong, and I’m not mechanical savvy. You’re such a nice gentleman by the way. I trust your advice and review 👌🫶🏻
@@superade1000 Hi, thank you for watching. I do not know the Evoque but they do not have a good reputation. My brother in law has an L405 and is very pleased with it. That might be an option. Or you look for a low-mileage L322 and keep it running. I also own an L322 (see my YT channel) and I can recommend a late 2010--> 3.6l or 4.4l TDV8 as a great alternative to a new RR
@ thank you, I’ll have a good look. Love your channel. I’m intrigued how the new Fully Electric Range Rover is gonna do. And also what it’s like to live with. Shall be very interesting 👌☺️🫶🏻
