I like the fact that Mike not only shows what he does, he shows what everyone else does. Seeing those guys doing the power cable work is quite educational. Especially knowing that 7200 volts passes through that cable! I personally like underground vs overhead. Each has it's pros & cons, but underground is by far the more appealing since overhead is so unattractive.

There is a difference between a “product endorsement” and an honest report or opinion. Some channels turn into little more than a commercial for some product-of-the-day. I think you have kept it honest and real. Personally, I am good with that.

I'm an electrian in Sweden and it's nice to see how the "coworkers of the same trade" working across the big pond. Did a similar job less than two weeks ago where an excavator operator "chewed" on a big cable with his bucket powering a school. 3 phase cable with ground/neutral, 400 Volt between phases and 230 Volt Phase to ground/neutral with 200 amp fuses. Cut the bad part out and spliced it back together.
Keep up the good work 👍

I can't speak for others but I was looking for some slip on boots to wear on my son's farm. The information was useful. I appreciate the time you take to explain things and evaluate products. As for timing of videos it is sometimes a little confusing but all comes together. I am medically retired disabled and have seen nearly everything on television I turned to RUclips. I watch a number of people and it is the only thing I do watch. I can't tell you the last time my television was turned on. Your channel is the most informative and for humor there is no topping Logger Wade. Now as for the length of videos. I personally have no problem with length going long. I have thought many were a bit short or cut off too soon. I spent 30 years doing industrial maintenance before a piece of equipment collapsed and retired me so detail and technical is good. I even agree with your choices and why. I appreciate the time you take to explain why you made the choices you made. This is the very first time to ever comment so if it isn't right just overlook it. Thanks for doing what you do.

Dirt Perfect's videos are always behind due to time dilation. Living so close to Logger Wade he is subject to extreme gravity, hence time moves slower at DP's house than Kleeman's. It also explains why Kleeman appears to be talking faster. If he lived next to Kleeman, the videos would come out before he booked the jobs!

I don't mind the that the videos come out "delayed" when compared to when they are filmed. I actually think you have found a great system to keep them coming out consistently even though the "eb and flow" of life might not always align your priorities with getting RUclips videos out. Call it good inventory management.
Part of the reason I even started watching RUclips was to find relevant information on certain products. I always appreciate honest opinions from those who actually use certain products day in and day out. Product endorsements are not as well received and can often be a huge turn-off -especially if the endorser is disingenuous.
Lastly, this is your channel. I don't think you can go wrong if you just keep doing You. If you continue being genuine things will work themselves out organically.
That's my opinion but I have never seen the 2 cents you always hear about.

I Like the reviews you do. You are a working person and you show the product being used and how it stands up. It is great that you have the opportunity to show these products and get a few free samples as long as you do it for you and what you like and not for the free stuff. Also, you are a hard working person and need to support your family, I would like more videos but very happy for what you can supply. At least we get a video about everyday even if you are on vacation with the family. I think its great that you work on your own stuff, I enjoy that because I enjoy doing my own maintenanence myself. And I just try it and learn as I go and with your videos the things you do I have learned some new things. Keep up the good work

Thanks for sharing, I have learned a lot.

I also agree with you about keeping videos where someone can watch during lunch break so 20-30 minutes is great. That would be the worst thing anyone could do on their channel IMO. Keep up the good work.

Any working guy will appreciate the honesty in your reviews the only thing I have seen and it was not a problem for me because I have had problems with equipment and vehicles in the past is before you put the issues with the new 850 out on You Tube knowing you have a pretty big following being in business yourself and would not of wanted it done to you, getting with them about all the faults and give them a chance to rectify it and then maybe not have such a impact about their business, good people are hard to find and even harder to keep and they had a bad worker that was hiding his work ethic pretty good until the 850 !! other then that I love the content and seeing all the different things you do that I would not see otherwise!! That being said I’ve been a mechanic all my life on vehicles, trucks busses and heavy equipment too ( disabled now) so getting to see the equipment in use is a plus for me since it was usually down when I seen it and had to leave when I got it back up and going so keep up the dirt perfect work and I’ll see ya next time 🙂oh and I’m new so I’m behind on your videos is why I don’t mind you not posting all the time gives me a chance to go and look at the ones I haven’t seen !!

I love the fact you’re so upfront with us about the products. Personally, I’ve viewed so many of you videos that I feel I’ve gotten a read on the type of person you are. That person is a man of integrity, a strong friend who doesn’t hesitate to pitch in when asked, and a great family man with a beautiful wife and two totally adorable children who see him as their hero. You are in the right position treating your You Tube videos as a hobby. That attitude is what gives them their light touch and makes them so entertaining. If you feel strong enough to endorse a product, I don’t see it as you “selling out,” but sharing information on something you think we might like to use. Don’t worry and just be yourself. We like you as you are. Besides, who else would feature the local D.O.T. Officer as a semi-regular character?

Nice video as always. Simple "hack" for your trailer - fabricate a couple of extensions which you can quickly bolt onto of the deck of the tipping part at the front when needed (a couple of heavy duty planks would work). This will give the forward extension needed to drive up onto, and the extensions then sitdown onto the fixed part of the deck. Just an idea...
On the subject of your videos - just do what you enjoy. One if the things I like about your channel is just seeing what a contractor similar to myself is doing in another country - the quality of the video, delay in publishing your video, or if there is a break between videos doesn't matter to me. Several years ago now when I started my business in Spain, I used to video a lot and put in on RUclips for fun (very bad static camera videos compared to yours and many others today). I stopped because as my business expanded I found that I didn't enjoy sitting and editing videos after working all day anymore. I sometimes think about doing it again, but honestly think the dedication it takes even as a hobby is too time consuming for me right now and so I would not enjoy it. The key thing is do what makes you happy, and what you enjoy - if you can make a few pennies out of it or get some sponsored freebies, even better..! 👍

Plug your stuff as you see fit as long as it’s real, I love the slip on boot but can’t wear much anymore - need more ankle support now but it speaks to the quality of brand in my opinion. Also, enjoy you throwing out the dates occasionally to remind us about what time of year it is. 👍

Don't listen to the Whiner's who are sitting around with nothing to do but wake up in the morning, walk outside, and find a rain/storm cloud to spend their time under all day. My father always wore elastic sided work boots, he was a n aluminium and brass founder, he said lace ups were no good in any job where sparks fly , you get a piece of molten metal down your boot and end up with bad burns ...took too long to get em off and douse the burn. Stay safe!

I would agree with many of your followers. You have your work, family and other important factors in your life. If we can follow your projects via RUclips, as and when you have the time and the inclination, then that's just great. After all we are not paying for the privilage. So keep up the good work and continue doing it as you see fit. Episodes of some 30 minutes are fine unless it is a big project when it can also be made up of episodes. Stay safe and well in these dangerous times. Regards from Scotland.

I enjoy your content, and an honest opinion on a product you try is all I could ask for, I heard other channels say companies want them to try stuff but want only good reviews. Thanks

One thing I like about your videos is the fact that I don't have to keep messing with the volume control up or down. I didn't get your poll but I don't like videos longer than 30 minutes. If I watch anybody's videos that are longer than 30 min. I watch for the 1st 10 mins. skip for 10-20 mins. then watch the finish. I haven't don't that with your videos because they are interesting and sometimes quite comical. Keep up the good work.

It's always helpful to hear the opinion of a guy that actually use something before talking about it. I don't really care if the company gives you something to use or if you buy it. I think you are very honest about the things you give an opinion on and that is what really matters. Thank you for what you do and keep on doing what makes you happy. There are plenty of videos of yours that I haven't seen so when there's a gap I just go back in time and check out stuff I haven't seen yet. The talk about the trailer was really helpful, I am currently trying to decide on the split deck tilt vs the full deck tilt and you gave me some other things to think about when it comes to that choice.

I appreciate your taking time to edit, and six weeks is pretty fast! I found your channel while looking for ideas in repairing our old farm dozer, and I started watching your videos because they were edited well, made sense, and because you took time to explain what's going on. In fixing that old machine, I found a lot of videos that weren't very useful, and even though I had different issues, I could use your video (replacing a track roller) to help in me deciding how to remove and replace the tracks on mine. As far as the products being "evaluated", I think you should just do what you want to do, unless you know some company who wants to give someone a new dozer to be tested to destruction, then have them call me! (It has been suggested that I could destroy a steel ball with a rubber mallet.) Anyway, I appreciate your work, and find the videos entertaining, and informative, both the shop work, and the field work (I'm retired to the farm, and do a lot of digging, building, road maintenance, etc., and even if I don't get new ideas watching your videos, they confirm that at least someone else sees a similar solution to a similar problem. Keep it up!

That’s neat to see the way the power company does things, I work for a power company in Canada as an arborist, most of the lines run overhead so there’s a constant need to trim the trees along the lines. All the single phase lines run the same voltage around here though, 7.2 kv

I agree with you on RUclips. My channel is tiny in comparison to yours and I can tell you it’s time consuming. It takes longer to do the job your doing to film it and then it takes a long time to edit it. I do it because I’m enjoying it. Good video man!

Personally, I find actual-user product reviews very helpful. Paid endorsements are not as valuable. Your comments and recommendations feel honest and personal. They save the rest of us a lot of research and guessing. Keep them coming mate.
