Suicide and crisis hotline 988 saved one man from a "very dark place"

Matthew Smith was having an anxiety attack when he called 988 and said that knowing someone was on the other line gave him hope. The Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be used at any point, even if someone is not actively in crisis.
