What are your thoughts on halsbands/jangoli on accipiters? I’ve never seen anyone use one In England.

I’ve never seen anyone either , then I’d never seen anyone use neck mounted transmitters till
I went to Spain and I’ve found they’re great on micros IF you learn how to use them correctly and in detail , so I’d say it’s the same thing ; find out all the details of their proper use and give it a go

I know the wolf issue in the UK is a sensitive subject but I have a crazy idea. There may be wolf biologists who think it's crazy too. What if you introduced the American red wolf to the UK? It's one of the rarest canines on the planet. I don't think it will ever successfully live in the wilds of America in any great numbers. This is because of inbreeding with coyotes. There are just too many coyotes in the previous red wolf range and there is only a small population of these wolves barely hanging on. Coyotes are just too numerous to eliminate. Red wolves are smaller and shyer creatures than grey wolves so they may be less problematic. Okay, go ahead and tell me I'm crazy.
