@Kris Nice review. I wanted to ask why it is that reviewers have a problem with car manufacturers using cheap plastic on the bottom sections on the inside of the doors? To me it seems logical as those are the parts of the interior that receive a fair amount of abuse. Myself and my children often kick or brush our shoes against those very parts when exiting, and if they were made of anything else, they would be in a horrible state.
Thanks! There a many reasons for using softer plastics rather than hard plastics. First of, they look and feel much nicer. And at this price point there shouldn’t be hard plastics in many places in the cabin. This is plain cost cutting from Mercedes. Another big reason is that softer plastics can actually handle a lot more abuse and don’t scratch or damage nearly as easy as hard plastics. So you want those softer materials down low as well as big up in the cabin.
Can't go back after the Taycan CT. I tried to spec a beefy BMW i5, placed order, then cancelled within 2 weeks (cooldown period) - on paper easy to go back to "lower" brands, but in reality you'll keep that weird feeling. Taycan facelift or fully new Panamera is the way to go
Nice content as always, but it's a shame that it's out of focus so often.
Yeah, it’s my new lens that I broke in Germany. Will be using another lens for future videos now!
@@KrisRifa I didin't mean to be a hater, it's just that I can't stop seeing it 😂
@@ganauz didn’t think that either! But you’re still 100% correct!

Great summary. What do you think about SQ8 compared to this? About same price range with tri motor.
I’d be cancelled the EX90 order fort one of these as well. Before you buy an EQE you really should try an iX.
Will try one soon, but I just hate the way it looks.. so even if it’s good I don’t care much for it
That’s actually not a terrible merc.
150.000 Euro for this? 😂 And best in class.? Sorry. Got two words for you.. Lotus Eletre 🪷
