Yup.... I grew up working in the garage, backyard, driveway etc with my awesome dad. He taught me common sense, problem solving and great hand-eye coordination in auto mechanics, wood working, electrical etc. It carried me through success in many different trades throughout my long life. More Dads need to do this for the simple result of developing a next generation of common sense, able and stable humans that we can be proud of to claim as ours!!!
The owner should be careful with the rear power, in my van (American conversion) the wires have worn down and make contact shorting out my rear lights and no longer power the sofa/sleeper. Just a heads up, mine is an 03 but it had those issues from day one. Thanks for your great ideas and plan to get a 3500 Chevy with hd suspension so it’s naturally taller in stock config. Again thanks for sharing and inspiring
Recent Roadtrek 190 campers have the option of an electric sofa-to-bed in the back. Also, my 2007 Quigley 4X4 RT 190 has a locking rear differential. I believe all the 2 wheel & 4 wheel drive 190s have locking differentials as standard equipment from Roadtrek. I enjoy your Chevy Express videos. Hope to upgrade/lift my Quigley RT 190 with your suspension mods soon.
I wonder? The dual air compressor? Could you use one compressor to lock front and rear axles at the same time then use the other side of the compressor to air tires and such?
@@Gawddamnatheist1 I agree! Can't wait to get mine going. Decided to start with the coil over, then install my wheelchair lift, then add the 4x4 early next year before I head north... probably will get a ton more stuff from these guys... it looks like pure quality craftsmanship to me....
not sure if anyone answered this, but this is what i did to change the wiring on my arb lockers on my wrangler www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LH5Z74Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks for that info and we look forward to building with you.
I have always been under the impression you were there grampa
I need this in my life
Yes you do! And we can build it for you....
If you get a chance can you make a video on a Chevy Express with your 3 inch spindle lift?
We will work on that. Thanks for the feedback.
Explorer sells the rear seat bed! however they want $3,000.00 for the seat $300.00 for the motor + $ shipping! best bet pick-a-part $250. - $300.

They work together, it would just do more work as filling your tires faster. But would run the lockers and fill tires at the same time.
How much would just a 2wd to 4x4 conversion be? I also want to add bigger tires later on. But I’d love to find a 4x4 conversion kit for my van
It depends on what you opt for...check out our website 👍

I would love to know where to get the blinds that were inside the van.
I believe they came with the van... It is a Chevy Express explorer van
@@WeldtecDesigns Thank You; I appreciate it!!
sadly to say I trowed away my power seats when I converted my van to a camper
My 1997 Ford E150 coachman clubwagon came with a back seat that electrically folds down into a bed
Can I add the 4x4 first? Then add the coil over later.. I need 4x4 before I need the coil over.
Yes we can do the torsion bar 4x4 conversion.
