I have a question. What causes the high sound when powering the engine? Is it the esc? I'm asking because I hear the same sound and am looking for a way to get rid of it. Thanks in advance.
I am trying to build a bait boat with two bait tanks. Tanks will be placed on top of the boat, and baits will be dropped through the each side of the boat(not back). It needs two engines in order to carry 4kg dead weight capacity ( 2kg each). Minimum remote control distance 300 meters. In order to build this bait boat could you tell me a list of electronics (with remote control) I need?
Did you managed to make it work ? Im on the same project my isue is how long can i make the batterys last if i run lipo instead of a normal 12v batery wich has a long life but slow speeds its so slow ughh 🙄

I think that is about the size of motor I would need for my tour boat and St. Pierre model. trying to figure if I can get just receivers that would work with my futaba radios. See all my models were stolen and I am trying to rebuilt but it will literally involve thousands of hours! What are the dimensions on the motor i see here?

Yes. There is a relationship...strong motors you need to use big prop...fast motor.you will need to use small prop....the relationship between these two items I really don't know...
Hi i bourght a 1/350 Tirpitz and want to convert it to r/c, the only thing i cant find anywhere is what kind of motots i should put in, i want to go with the 3 motor solution (No Gearbox) I would like to be able to get as close to the of the org. speed bt 1/350 and still have a little more power to have:0)
Wonderful product with great functions and design. But I wonder why you need 02 pcs of high-torque servos??? I may think that one is enough to control turning left/ right? Pls advise. Thanks a lot!
before i was interested i ended up taking two motors from a quadcopter sticking them on a lump of styrafoam and added the controller and called it done it worked but i want moar
Maybe you wanna look up some scratch builds, or find some plans and make a legit wood boat :) It takes some patience though, and foam can be cut with a hot-wire, so you can make a deep V pretty easily. Lots of fun and simple (or super complicated) ways to build a little rc boat ;)

Yes, you only need 1 piece...I bought 2 just to keep one for spare...

No....You can find a better motor...I bought the cheapest one.
