  • Stretching your Hamstrings helps increase flexibility and prevent injuries. Tweeking or pulling your hamstring will definitely effect your ability to move, run and sports participation. A good dynamic warm up will greatly help improve your hamstring flexilibity, strength and endurance and reduce the chances of that dreaded tweek or pull. Resistance bands are a great addition to help improve elasticity ,flexibility, blood flow all while allowing full range of motion.
    Flexing or extending the toes will prove to activate differnt specific areas of the hamstrings as well as engage the lower back and glutes. We suggest experimenting various foot and toe position, body position and angles , pulsing the leg motion or longer extended movements so you can find what works best for your specific goals.
