Hey Farrister, with the new 3.14 update, the capacitor changes allow you to put more power to different weapons for increased ammo. This means that losing the S5s may make you unable to hunt larger ships like the hammerhead, but all of that power goes into the smaller guns @ 193 rounds! With missing wings, you are essentially a flying cockpit with a machine gun that is super maneuverable. Also the small "weak" plasma cannons are repeaters now, and act like it. Cockpit go brrt. c:
not worth mentioning really as they likely will never be fixed, since the ship is due for a rework (that admittedly wont happen for the forseeable future) and vanduul ramming will be a thing of the past :p I just douby they will spend time fixing a feature on a shup that will be reworked and wil lose said feature anyway
I think beating vanduul swarm is a requirement to be able to buy it, nothing more. And even then it needs to be on sale, which it isnt most of the time. basically its just a permit to buy it when on sale
The (currently) unflyable ship - Seat goes up, seat goes down... look at HUD, look at sky!!! Open cockpit, close cockpit... it's like a retarded fairground ride! Aside from that, I'm sure its a great ship, great review.
Funny. I've flown this "unflyable" ship and even got quite a few PVP kills with it, and he was able to do a full review of it. In fact, here's 50 kills in the "unflyable" Glaive, (cockpit bug and all): ruclips.net/video/KM4-edqLHMc/видео.html So buggy? Yes. Unflyable? Not really. Fortunately, CIG acknowledged the bug & because of it provided everyone with a Gladius.
This thing used to be a beast, but it got really nerfed and I haven't touched it since, but seems like it got better again?

They often do :( but it rarely saves them :D
I usually go backwards when the m50 NPCs start flying crazy.

At least the Glaive goes into flight mode unlike the Scythe which stays in landing mode.

Ah I was just reading in the comments about seat bugs, thankfully haven't affected me, but I know the pain from the Argo MPUV!
The bug is now fixed it seems (for now ^^)
So basically, this overpriced alien ship is cool and has a punch, but you're better off getting a Connie... especially now lol.
