decent speed: slower than the 4.3 spitfire maneuverable enough: gets literally one circled by yak3s armed well: cannons that travel at 550m/s with very low rate of fire

I like the American aircraft, their late and post war silver colouring and sleek (yet deadly) design looks fantastic and really draws my eye, whilst I am really, really, interested in the Cold War era aircraft (and what will come next such as F15 and the F18). However, there really is something that draws me to the British and Japanese early, mid, and late war aircraft (although I won’t grind them).
I remember years ago when the N1K was an absolute UFO, regularly get up-tiered against Meteors etc and pull out 6+ kill games… they’re still good don’t get me wrong, but they were totally game breaking for so long haha

What you’ll find is that pulling lead to shoot also aligns your flight path with the enemy’s. If they are turning symmetrically(without roll or rudder) than you can pull symmetrically as well and once you pull enough lead you don’t even need to see them. Watch growling sidewinder play DCS. He talks about janking and dumping the nose to avoid incoming rounds.

i can simply see where my plane is going and I try to line up with the enemy. It rarely works, but its possible to take these shots
