  • This video demonstrates how to assembly the lifter tappet blocks on an Harley Davidson Evolution engine. Similar to procedures are used on S&S TP Ulitma Delkron Jims Revtech and many other aftermarket EVO cases. This demonstration was filmed in the lab at Western Iowa Tech Community College Motorcycle and Powersports Technology Program.     three big slotted plugs oil pump side evo. what's the low inside plug for on pump cover plate?

    Do you use blue Loctite on your tappet block screws ,as I have heard that this is a important procedure. I had maybe 100 miles on my engine and while idiling the oil started to pour out between engine block and tappet covers. Luck was on my side that day ,as it could have lead the way to a major catastrophic failure.

    Harley must be the only manufacturer still using SAE sizes.

    nothing makes any sense anymore, I should be able to do this stuff in my sleep, but for some reason, I don't have the confidence

    I hate stupid chrome stick on parts, that have no purpose and will only make noise and rattle.
