I love ghostface’s because he has two different walking animations. One out of chase where he walks will stealth and confidence and one in chase where he mimics how ghostface chases in the movies
Wasn’t he the first killer to get that?
I believe that dredge does that too
@@polybius8571 the first killer to have 2 walking animations was doctor when he have treatment mode and not the blast he have now
Controller players are capable of walking slower which reveals secret walking animations and also makes other animations look better on killers
If I do a 2.0 I'll consider using in-game walks then, and I'll have to remember to record using a controller.
@@theARoberts You really gotta do it with in-game walks, the only thing I could think about was the fact that Nemesis does *not* look like that in the game, he's running with those incredibly long and heavily thumping steps. In fact his footsteps are almost the only thing you can hear during a chase now that I think about it..... And now seeing the knight portion, he also does not ever hold his sword like that in-game, it's always up and mounted on his shoulder for support.
I've always questioned skull merchants walk it tries to look feminine but it looks so uncomfortable.

It kind of eats but she’s just too fast for it to look good. Like on a killer that’s like nurse’s speed that’d make sense but it goes too fast.
Yeah, it's weird. That's why I didn't put it higher than B. But I felt B was fitting because it is at least interesting, which is better than I can say for a lot of them.
It's cause she's hiding six drones somewhere on her. They weigh her down and she can't walk straight, and then when she deploys them she gains haste
With how you described Knight's run as more of a skip than a run fits him because Knifht's first thought was pure joy seeing the entity's realm
That is true, I just didn't think that would translate into him looking like a kid running out to recess😅
The problem with deathslinger is that he’s made to walk slower cuz ingame, he walks the correct speed, but the final screen is a reused background that moves at the exact same speed every time, so for a slow killer, it moves too fast
Well due to a bug, someone could see auras of green glyphs and they were getting smaller and more far away, so they DO move
@@lukasVGL oh, how strange, even so from the looks of it it’s just a reused screen where the character moves with the camera which moves at the same speed so wether the background or the killer moves is not important, it’s the speed at which they do

I agree with this, since they don't change the background per character. It would be a nice detail, but I understand that in the grand scheme of things they've got bigger fish to fry

In the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre Leatherface indeed does run like that after Sally jumps out the window one last time, thats when the Hitchiker and Leatherface run after her.
It is said that both Leatherface and Hitchiker ran somewhat "playfully" as if they weren't trying to catch her because Sally's actor was really exhausted and couldn't run fast so they kinda had to improvise.
The conditions of the filming of this movie were terrible.

i like the female legion walks a lot. not because they're lore accurate or anything (arguably the opposite given julie is supposed to be calculating and beautiful and susie is supposed to be shy and reserved). but because they look like little goblins. like i really wanna talk to the people at bhvr that were like 'yeah frank and joey are normal, but lets let the girls get silly with it :p'
Actually Susie wasn't the one who's reserved and shy she was actually the one who's pushing the limits

When I play nemesis I hate how I can't see his walk like it so cool to me. I like his running walk in game when he's chasing survivors

Saying for knight that it doesn’t fit his lore is a bit silly, cause I mean he was a bloodthirsty knight who loved destruction and he felt some kind of happiness killing. So I think it does fit him and like it’s his recess that he envies
I totally get that he enjoys the Entity's realm but I didn't expect that to translate into him looking like he's a kid running out to recess🤣 I would expect him to look like he's charging into battle.

Weskers is just intimidating and scary. Just imagine this a blond man wearing black sunnys and in his S.T.A.R.S outfit (or his all black outfit) full sprinting at you with a combat knife.

To me Myers' is more funny than creepy, just because to me he looks like he's walking the runway and I can't get that out of my head. Great point about Wesker's being intimidating. That would be terrifying to see him running at you like that. Glad you enjoyed the 'Provocative Pyramid'😂

Hag has a different movement in the matches opposed to the end game screen.
There's several that do. I'll have to consider using in game walks next time if I do a 2.0 update
Ghostface it’s A BIT innacurate cause he has 2 walk animation. That one in the end screen it’s the chase walk(/run) and he has another one when he doesn’t chase anyone. Confident and sassy elegance at the same time. That walk alone deserves to be higher
also Knight. Knight doesn’t have 2 anims but the endscreen it’s a separate animation from the ingame one
I will consider doing in game walks if I ever do a 2.0 update. I kept it to endgame this time around simply because of lack of time.

1. Myers. It's smooth, creepy, and his natural swagger puts Skull Merchant's hips to shame. Slay, Michael! Wait, no not me! 🔪
2. Xenomorph. I love that it's the first one crawling on all fours and the little head movements show how acute it's senses always are. The first two Alien movies will always be the best too! 👽
3. Nurse. Her floating is fittingly ghost-like. It's unsettling how the most feeble looking killer is the one with the most raw power. Will you ever be able to breath out safely again? 🫢
4. Bubba. I would pee my pants if I saw that coming towards me. A fellow human so lively about slaughtering another is just...
5. Wraith. He looks like he's prancing through a field of flowers lol. It's because of DBDGamerGirl's killer walking tier list that I can't unsee it. I really miss her uploads. Also, I just love Philip as a character too.

That is a good top 5! I'm glad you can agree that the first two Alien movies are the best. DBDGamerGirl's videos are great, always cracked me up. I miss them as well. Hopefully one day she'll return. Thank you for watching and sharing your top 5! I'll be honest, I've never played D&D so I'm mostly just curious how it will work as a chapter. Optimistic, but I can't say I'm as excited by the reveal as I was by RE or Alien for instance.

As someone with a lack of physical health, i can confirm we can move fast, just not realistically for a long time like Clown would in game trials. But it certainly isnt hard to gain speed if youre built like him
With Knight, it's looking like he's using the weight of his armour to help maintain his momentum and save his energy. It's like with letting gravity take over when swinging a sword downward. He moves like a person who is used to wearing such heavy equipment.
My favourite will always be Onryo. The way that Sadako moves is exactly like how she appeared inside of the TV when approaching the screen from the well, and I have an extreme bias towards Ringu.
The Julie one looks like me sneaking into my kitchen for snacks at night.
Hers is the creepiest lol

Apparently Julie's walk is based on the old female survivor walk animation, since Legion are supposed to be survivor-like

Based on how i see Myers walk in the movies, a more accurate way he walks is with a straight back, a stiff stride, and his weapon would be held straight in front of him.

Spirit and Artist are probably my favorite ones and i strongly say the Artist is the best non licensed killer design they've done so far, animations excellent, personality excellent, perks freaking good, mori also unique and interesting, movements they nailed it even the chase music fits her character. Also who else would love to see either Mary Shaw or Candyman coming to dbd? :P I really wish we had a black guy killer well apart from Doctor Carter whose face is all deformed and gone mad and we can't really tell if he's a black guy at first.

did you also consider the running animation during the match? they are pretty different sometimes (like hag and ghost face f.ex.)

It is unique compared to the others, I'll agree with that. To me it was too obvious it was repeating and looked like a record skipping, which is why I ranked it down. I do respect the disagreement though.

This video looks so sloppy.Theirs endgame chat running animations are different than the ones during a match. For example Nemesis literally runs during the game while he walks in the end game. I tried to like the video but you're just showing wrong thing like u never played the game. It just hurt my eyes :///
