When I play survivor claudette is a solid A tier for me, but somehow when I play killer almost all claudettes I play against are toxic. She belongs to the survivors who insulted me the most as a killer.
As a James main myself, I'm quite happy he's been ranked quite high. It's very very rare I see a fellow James player and I get super excited when I see a fellow James. Since the skin came out I've probably seen 5-8 other James players, 2 of them being Jeryl's
I'm always glad to meet someone who mains one of the more rare characters like James. James seems to be super-rare. And oh no, that abomination Jeryl... 😱😱
The things you said about Kate stole my heart. Happy she got S tier in your opinion and as a Kate main this made me SUPER happy! My partner is a Felix main and got it spot on with him. Brother in law is an Ace main. Super goofy and loves to play around. Spot on with him too. Overall I agree 100% to all of this!
@Gorilla what are you talking about? Not all survivors are "skins". You're partially right but only in a sense that some survivors do have "skins" that are a different character. Other than that survivors are not skins, they're actual characters in the game. So yes, I'm a Kate MAIN, not a stupid "skins" main 🙄
@Gorilla I wouldn't agree, a lot of people choose characters to main. Even though perks can be shared, each character has their own lore, animations, voice lines, etc. that a lot of players resonate with enough to choose one or a select few to play most often and unlock other perks on. It's not like a skin in Fortnite where it's mostly just that, a skin, no lore, etc. But even then, I've known Fortnite players who "main" a skin.
@@theARoberts also is it just me or is seeing a yoichi becoming more common, I’ve seen quite a lot. Yet I also have seen a lot of toxic survivors who are stereotypically the least toxic

I'm that one Nea main who runs a flashlight almost every game. I just wanted to say that it's not because I want to or try to be toxic, it's that I'm literally scared of the killers and I suck at looping, so I bring the flashlight for my own protection.
I can definitely resonate with that. I don't mind flashlights by themselves either, just when Survivors try to double/triple blind me in a row or run in teams to purposely just blind without attempting the objective.
Hey the only toxic things I do as Meg is a little tea bagging when my team and I all manage to escape. It’s a little celebration considering I always solo queue and it’s a miracle when all four of us make it out lol
I'm new on the survivor role, I haven't played a lot the game(I don't have time and I play on my brother's PC), but I'm starting to learn how to use Leon's flashbang(I bought Resident Evil DLC because of Nemesis and Leon, and Halloween too, I like the killers, the survivors, and the perks)
I honestly would never expect a toxic Rebecca but ive gone against (and played with) a few lately, mostly with the cowgirl skin, but beside that they are almost always sweethearts
A lot of my experiences with Leon’s now are 3 types, the Re2 Leon who’s clumsy but trying, Leon bro squad of officers, which I’ll always switch to Leon too cause I know we’re gunna die trying to meme save each other and I live for those matches lmao, and then…I brought my new GF to play as “Jill” Leons who if their gf gets sacrificed they’ll just throw the game and kill themselves so they can move on to next match. Still waiting to see S tier RE4 Leon in my lobby
Steve's have some balls. They get in my face and die for others. I can respect that. They also usually do something really memey and funny during the match lol
I completely agree with where you place Claudette, because every single one I play against will play in the most annoying way imaginable. Like you said, pretty much every one I go against does basically nothing for their team, and then they still tbag at hatch and think they destroyed me (though I almost stopped hating her when I made friends with one who helped me against a NOED Nurse). Also glad to see my two mains (Ace and Bill) in S tier 😊
Glad to know I am not alone in that assessment 😂 To be fair to Claudette mains, I have faced a lot of totally competent and respectful Claudette's as well. But those sneaky/selfish Claudette's just leave such an impression on me it's hard not to remember those first😅
Coming back to a video and redoing it to see if your opinions changed is actually a great idea. You could go further tough and even make a video discussing your worst and best opinions of the year.
I absolutely love Kate's. I'm a Kate Main and so is my friend and we once had a match with all Kates and we all were very altruistic and cooperative. It was like we all knew each other
Agree with pretty much all of this! Except Ace. For me, Aces have pretty much always been toxic. Also, almost all the hackers I've run into have been Aces. Bill is wholesome. Never seen a toxic Bill. And you are right. They'll drag the last team member through the gate, even if it costs them their life.
Interesting, I've had others comment that Ace's have been toxic. I have yet to notice this myself but I always love hearing how others' experiences differ from mine. And that's one of the reasons I love playing Bill and making sure I'm the last one out or sacrificing myself in the process. Much more fun to play that way.
I feel the ada stereotype is perfect i am medium to high skill in loops depending on the killer and mainly chase. I have also played with adas who do gens all game (which I should be doing more)
It's no surprise ada mains can't be too good when they got all that cake back there distracting the ones playing as Ada. You just can't play well with one hand
I'm glad I could get it spot on! To be honest, if you're occupying the Killer in chase and your team is focused on gens then you're still helping your team out
I main feng and mikaela, and I feel like they both have a bad rep but I love their lore and cosmetics. I also play a lot of Yui, Kate, and Ada so I’m so happy all of my favs ranked high
I love Feng and Mikaela, largely because of their lore but I also respect the players as well. I agree they tend to get a bad rep. We seem to share a lot of favorites then 😄
As a player that was survivor for nearly a yr before trying the darkside, I find it funny as killers we have the base expectation that survivor is likely to be using one or more of their perks. Considering the whole teachables thingy it's funny we still think that way, so when I play as survivors, I'll often NOT use well known perk from my character and use a variety of them on someone else. Ex. I practically never Blastmine with Jill, but would be inclined to use it on say Mikhaela or Rebecca. 😅
I LOVE having baby survivors in my teaam. I try making them feel safe as much as I can because I know I was like them one day. Usually when they mess up gens they tend to crouch or walk away, I usually just keep doing the gen or call them so they know its not (hopefully) the end of the world. A Claudette scared of her own breath was trying to heal me and kep missing skill checks. I was just hanging in there. But thats because once I get Iri 1 I dont give a crap about losing or winning. So I just help them, even bodyblocking the killer to give them time during a chase. I am a surv main (dont have an expecific survivor, just play with the same 5 or 6 survivors I like). Its funny how the game changed me. Not afraid to say sometimes I am toxic towards the killer because I suffered a lot in their hands. I got way better at looping and flashlights so my Kate, Claudette, Steve, Zarina and Rebecca (the ones I play the most) are usually tunneled and face camped lol but hey at least I am having fun. I used to play A LOT as Yoichi and Haddie, but the lack of attention from the devs is just sad.
I remember when I first started playing and I was terrified of playing Survivor because I didn't know what I was doing and hated the idea of letting my team down. Probably part of the reason I became a Killer main. So it's awesome you play that way to help new players know it's okay to make mistakes and learn! After all, how are they supposed to get better otherwise?
@@theARoberts funny I became a killer main because the idea of being this beast others run from appealed to me a lot and my first main was Demogorgon so it fit perfectly. I didn't play nice at all I went straight for kills every chance I got like a true mindless animal that can't be reasoned with But over time as I put hundreds , thousands of hours into DBD I just became more meme like and do whatever now but I always main killer because I like being the one doing things to others not having them done to me
When I started playing I played as Leon as a survivor for my first trial as survivor then for my second survivor trial I went in as Felix And The shape as my first time as a killer and the Executioner (pyramid head) for my second round When I play as survivor I normally sacrifice myself for the team to get out alive
true!!! As a Leon main (who’s just beginning) I was definitely bias and bought DBD for the resident evil pack (and also my friend wanted to play together) and I kinda suck…BUTTT that’s ok DBD is really fun so far! And I am enjoying my stay :]
Can't remember if I said it in this video or not, but the first RE chapter is 100% the reason I started playing DBD too back when it first released. I thought it would just be a game I dabbled in from time to time, but ended up shifting the whole focus of my channel to it! 😂I'm terrible at Survivor too myself, I primarily main Killer (Nemesis and Wesker are a lot of fun too), but what is important at the end of the day is that you are having fun, so I'm glad to hear that! I hope that only increases as you learn more about the game 😀
Very weird to me but I like hearing how others' experiences differ from mine. I've almost never faced (if ever) a toxic Kate. I'm sure it's happened, but I have enough positive experiences to offset that apparently.

Nah, I've met many (I might even say most) that play team oriented, or very clearly are new to the game, but rarely selfish. It's just that the selfish ones leave such a lasting impression that it becomes the stereotype.
@@theARoberts I just mean that I see most Claudette mains run self heal, and even though it is one of her perks, it’s still not really how to play Claudette to her full potential for the team
I originally mained Mikaela because she represented my natural female red hair. But after just now finding this video and being a p63 Mikaela, I can confidently say you were spot on. 🤣 I'm average/below average at loops, but almost always have a team build perk load out equipped haha. As a Kate main, I love you (In a not gay way) that you put her in S Tier. My Kate/overall Survivor gameplay is a mix bag of skill but I like to rely on my own senses, being able to hide from the killer without any perks and helping out my team a lot. I run Kindred, We'll Make It, Lithe/SB, and Unbreakable/Boiled Over. 2 perks to try and help my survivability, and 1 aura reading perk to know where my team is and think of what to do and a fast healing perk because everyone loves to waste time healing normally.
Cheryl/James/Cybil and Rebecca main, still not good when it comes to chases (I.E I'm Switch player, but still perfectly playable), but the build I usually bring is entirely Boon based (it can work, especially helping out the teammate who's good at looping the Killer around my Boon, Exponential is situational, but it has its moments), so I can at least give them some of benefits while I work on gens.
Love meeting another Silent Hill and RE fan. Bless you for being able to play on Switch, I'm sure that is a challenge. Always love when people play for the benefit of the team, well done.
I appreciate the suggestion. Honestly, I did one a year ago and planned to do another update, even recorded it, but wasn't happy with how it turned out. I might do it again, but not sure right now.
What? I agree eith maot of these except ace ive only ever meant toxic ace's always t bagging even though they aren't very good and wont touch gens because there too busy trying to flashlight save 😭

Great video brother!!! Amazing content I’m a p100 cracked Claudette main just to go against the grain. Long chases, Beamer saves, and I never leave a survivor behind.

as a masked meg main, most of the bad megs youll see normally doesnt wear a mask. most of the megs i find are toxic or brand new, any team working meg normally wears a mask or clean cosmetics
Ahh yes, you mention the masked Meg variation, I should have included a separate category for her. I always know I'm in for a challenge when there's a masked Meg 😅
As a Bunny Feng, I wonder what your thoughts on the Bunny Fengs are? I've met people that absolutely love the Buns, but others that hate them to the point they admit to tunneling them out of their matches, its strange that some cosmetics can change how people see or feel about a character.
Bunny fengs just do the most adorable shit when I'm killer and I already find Feng adorable because she sounds like a chew toy when hurt and hit and hooked. So I almost always cave in and give the hatch. They're pretty much going to do something cute at some point and it's gonna work on me lol.
I do not mind Bunny Fengs at all, I agree with the others that these tend to be more cute than toxic. All that to say I'll never tunnel someone out of a match because of a skin choice either.
Personally Yoichi would be in like B tier facing them is typically a challenge but they’re rarely toxic and they’re typically skilled but I’m always having fun with them much like Adam Jeff and Quentin mains

@Gorilla yes and no. perhaps all the survivors have different injured noises and breathing
I'm so glad to hear that I got those spot on 😊I really enjoy facing all three of those Survivors.
@@theARoberts I know, they're so perfect!
Oh, *Jeff is a mythical beast alright*
100%
As a yoichi main and from what I’ve seen they are very team oriented, I usually just use healing setups and yoichis have very chill and fun perks
I always appreciate Yoichi players, rarely see them, but usually have a good time when I do
@@theARoberts also is it just me or is seeing a yoichi becoming more common, I’ve seen quite a lot. Yet I also have seen a lot of toxic survivors who are stereotypically the least toxic
As a Jane mane I respect your choice we usually just mess around and go for flash saves
I'm glad 😁 I can definitely respect that playstyle!
Yui is easily one of my favorites as well!
I would probably say that Yui, Feng Min, Yun Jin, & Leon are probably my 4 favorites
And mostly my survivor mains when I’m playing more seriously, and not just messing around
Those are good mains to pick! I respect those choices.
I'm so happy to see all my mains in A and S tier, Cheryl, Yui, Cybil, Lisa and Rebecca are my favorite survivors
Yoichi, Dwight, and Quentin are my mains
All good characters!
@@theARobertsI say mine is almost all but I feel like I should be very honest it’s David king, tapp, resident evil squad, ash williams, and some other og survivors
That's fair 😂😂
Really like your opinions it's nice to here a killer mane not complaining about survivers using there perks that's really cool ty!!
Those are all great chapters to own. I have a lot of fun with all the RE characters and Myers too.
Reverse Chainsaw In To A Quentin Hiding In A Corner
hmmm I don't normally see them hide... except from the entire game itself because I don't normally see them 😂
was not expecting both of my main survivors to be in s tier
Excellent! Who would those be? Would you say I got the stereotype accurate or do you feel differently?
@@theARoberts yui and ace, you were pretty spot on
Me, a Bill and Ace main: I wonder where I rank in this, maybe around B tier.
Me, halfway through A tier: No... not like this...
Wait, wouldn't you be happy about me ranking them S-tier? Maybe it's just because I'm really tired but I don't understand 😅
oh man, whenever my team has to have a rando and its a Dwight, he always gets us in trouble.
Sounds accurate 😂😂
Rebecca stole my heart, she's my main now...
I mean, she's pretty adorable so I can't blame you 😂
As a Jake, if u chase me I usually will loop u for 2 or 3 gens straight. Even I've played this game for like 3 months
Looping must have come more naturally to you than I in that case, well done.

There have been an arrival of toxic Yuis coming along with the rift cosmectics, but don't let that tint our reputation.
lol don't worry, I won't. Sad too because those rift cosmetics are pretty great.
Dectective Tapp mains are pleased about this
Yes I’m very very pleased
Glad to hear it!
@@Fakefakeez Excellent!
I honestly would never expect a toxic Rebecca but ive gone against (and played with) a few lately, mostly with the cowgirl skin, but beside that they are almost always sweethearts
I can agree with this, now that I've paid more attention I'm a little bit leery of the cowgirl skin Rebecca's lol
Lol I can definitely see this all being accurate
99% of the time Steve is running some Chad build to troll the killer. (Definitely not speaking from experience)
Steve's have some balls. They get in my face and die for others. I can respect that. They also usually do something really memey and funny during the match lol
lol by experience I assume you mean you're the chad build Steve? 😁
As someone who mains RE4 Leon and James, I am pretty happy someone thinks I am a good teammate. Most people think I am bad just because I play Leon
I highly respect RE4 Leon's and James'
I completely agree with where you place Claudette, because every single one I play against will play in the most annoying way imaginable. Like you said, pretty much every one I go against does basically nothing for their team, and then they still tbag at hatch and think they destroyed me (though I almost stopped hating her when I made friends with one who helped me against a NOED Nurse).
Also glad to see my two mains (Ace and Bill) in S tier 😊
am I the only fuckin non sneaky claudette? I'm just a gen jockey man
@@thefluffyaj4119 I’m not saying they don’t exist, I’m saying that there need to be way more of those in my matches
Billllllll man i like that guy i mained him before rebecca my very first game in dbd i was bill i like him a lot
Glad to know I am not alone in that assessment 😂 To be fair to Claudette mains, I have faced a lot of totally competent and respectful Claudette's as well. But those sneaky/selfish Claudette's just leave such an impression on me it's hard not to remember those first😅
This list is Leon approved 👮🏼♂️👍🏻
Glad to hear! 😎
I'm a Ace main and I was curious about what was our tier. I'm so happy I watched all the video.
S TIER! LET'S GOOO DUUUUDEEEEEEEE!!!!
You Ace mains have done some good work to change my mind over the year since the first video 😁
@@theARoberts Ace main and Demo main! Double SS, babyyyyy!!!
Coming back to a video and redoing it to see if your opinions changed is actually a great idea. You could go further tough and even make a video discussing your worst and best opinions of the year.
Thanks mate! That's an interesting idea for sure.
I absolutely love Kate's. I'm a Kate Main and so is my friend and we once had a match with all Kates and we all were very altruistic and cooperative. It was like we all knew each other
Kate mains unite!
@@thedoomslayer5863 that's why you gotta have the other outfit just in case you need to sweat
I'm glad I could get it spot on! To be honest, if you're occupying the Killer in chase and your team is focused on gens then you're still helping your team out
This was a really good video! Nancy in B tier🤩
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
Lol well played. I'm even more pleasantly surprised when I'm not expecting Blast Mine 🤣
Agree that Elodies love chase, disagree about them being good at it.
Interesting, I love hearing how others' experiences differ!
The Claudette’s I get are good at looping but then when injured they run to the edge of the map to self-care
Sounds about right too.
Mikaela is a more experienced Claudette
Ash is a more experienced Bill
Interesting thought
I didn't play nice at all I went straight for kills every chance I got like a true mindless animal that can't be reasoned with
But over time as I put hundreds , thousands of hours into DBD I just became more meme like and do whatever now but I always main killer because I like being the one doing things to others not having them done to me
When I started playing I played as Leon as a survivor for my first trial as survivor then for my second survivor trial I went in as Felix
And
The shape as my first time as a killer and the Executioner (pyramid head) for my second round
When I play as survivor I normally sacrifice myself for the team to get out alive
This is exactly how I play Survivor now, it's way more fun that way.
@@theARoberts true
I don't remember have ever played a kate that isn't toxic, controversial knowing how the character is
Very weird to me but I like hearing how others' experiences differ from mine. I've almost never faced (if ever) a toxic Kate. I'm sure it's happened, but I have enough positive experiences to offset that apparently.
Jake used to be my main now its Leon I appreciate your explanation of him
16:24 i got so called out 💀💀💀💀 when i got my pc and i was finally able to start playing dbd i instantly got the leon jill and nemesis pack just to play as leon 💀💀 best believe i was a dookie ass leon.
No worries, that was 100% me too 🤣
i swear i gotta be the only claudette main that actually plays off altruism instead of selfishness

Sorry, I'm just now getting caught up on comments, I'm on PC
As a Kate main, I love you (In a not gay way) that you put her in S Tier. My Kate/overall Survivor gameplay is a mix bag of skill but I like to rely on my own senses, being able to hide from the killer without any perks and helping out my team a lot.
I run Kindred, We'll Make It, Lithe/SB, and Unbreakable/Boiled Over. 2 perks to try and help my survivability, and 1 aura reading perk to know where my team is and think of what to do and a fast healing perk because everyone loves to waste time healing normally.
I can appreciate any Survivor who works to help their team. I often run a similar perk mix myself too.
Honestly Leon always feeds in my games. Those NANCY’s though 😭
I always love hearing how others experience the game differently than me.
I used to main Feng, then Bill, then Jake very shortly, Ace for a while, and now Quinton.
Sounds like you've had quite a few mains then, always enjoy running into a Quentin main
You should do a stereotype video for the killer side. Just a suggestion
I used to think Ace's were just bad at the game, but Ace mains changed my mind and I realized they just don't take the game seriously and meme around. That said, I've heard about the toxic Ace's, but I don't recall ever seeing one. But I always like to hear how others' experiences differ from mine.

Ahh yes, you mention the masked Meg variation, I should have included a separate category for her. I always know I'm in for a challenge when there's a masked Meg 😅
as a bill/kate main, i totally agree with u and i love see recognition for them, thanks
I love both of them and next to the Dwight skin that looks like me, they're probably the ones I run most when I do play Survivor.
the david perfectly fits me, sometimes im like a god but most games not and i like to save team mates
Glad to hear I wasn't way off with that assessment! Saving teammates is way more fun than just escaping
As a Bunny Feng, I wonder what your thoughts on the Bunny Fengs are? I've met people that absolutely love the Buns, but others that hate them to the point they admit to tunneling them out of their matches, its strange that some cosmetics can change how people see or feel about a character.
When I try tunneling a bunny Feng, they always show respect... j usually let them live...its the headphone ones with blue hair........they dead
He was on the edge for me, on a different day I may have put him B too honestly. I just haven't faced enough yet to make a true assessment so I had to go more neutral on this one.
@@theARoberts I have faced 2 and played with 2 that’s it
There’s no differences in each survivor. They all are the same except for the personal biases we have for said outward traits when we come across them
