Jonah is one of my favorite survivors, design-wise. I was pretty excited for him, but honestly I expect him to be completely forgotten about within the next month or so.
I'm really happy to hear from someone who was excited for and loves him. I feel bad that I just never see anyone run him, but hopefully over time that will change. But I agree, I fear he may get forgotten. He has some solid perks too, especially Overcome. Thanks so much for watching!
Its so sad that hes forgetten about because I think hes one of the best looking survivors. Hell, they even animated his hair waving around when doing actions. His christmas skin with the headphones is also honestly one of the best cosmetics in game.
I tend to go up against Ace a lot, and I find that Aces will often try to joke around with the killer more than other survivors, which, depending on whether or not you like that, can make them an S tier or a D tier. I'm definitely a bit biased as I am an Ace main when playing surv, but I'm trying to take my perspective from my killer matches into account only.
I am actually surprised you face Ace a lot, but perhaps I'm just not paying attention and it just feels like he's a rare one for me (which to be honest is entirely possible). But yeah, I had another Ace main comment that they tend to like to meme around and have fun, which made a lot of sense. I do enjoy when Survivors joke around with me, it's a nice break from the super sweaty matches, so hopefully I'll run into more Ash mains like yourself. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Fun tier list to watch even if I only played 2 matches of DBD. I especially love the part at 4:28 which is just uncontrollable hatred towards the toxic Claudettes. The only bad thing about your tier list is that you are giving me tier list ideas that I cant even work on rn.

In a lobby I feel like I almost always get at least one Mikaela, often a Feng and/or Nea, and then usually a mix of Dwight, Meg, Claudette, David, Bill, Nancy, Leon, Nancy, or Steve to fill out the other spots. So many of the survivors I face so rarely it makes me sad. That said, Jeff definitely is the rarest. I never find Jeff ever prolly because a lot of people will either pick the female they think is the most “hot” or sweatiest. The male who looks the most like them. Or someone from their favorite property like stranger things, resident evil, silent hill etc. Not many people look like Jeff besides Hagrid or something lol. And prolly many people also don’t even have Jeff because he comes with the legion who is a Farley unpopular character
Me as an ace main I can say if you play survivor side and you come into contact with another ace, we kind of that rare kind and tend to stick together and also not run the most meta perks, me as an ace I often run tenacity unbreakable no mither and soul guard and act like I'm crawling to stay stealthy when I'm down, when your ace it's about fun xD

I actually get a third type of Claudette sometimes that is what I call the eternal altruist. Will drop gen immediately to unhook someone or body block the hook.

I'm a Zarina and i can loop for hours lol. ive seen people sterotype zarinas as gen-rushers that suck at chases but i'm the legit opposite. I use to main my p3 Nea though so i probably fit that category more. dw though cause even though i go for flashlight saves which SOME people consider toxic i never teabag or do toxic things
I'm glad to meet another Zarina main! I actually ran into two in a row yesterday, it made me happy 😂 Most of the Zarina's I've faced have not been bad at chases I'd say, just not amazing either. But if you've mained a P3 Nea that sounds about right based on your playstyle you described. I definitely do not consider flashlight saves toxic, that's the item's intended purpose 😂 It's when a Survivor chain blinds me 3-4 extra times after that that I feel it gets toxic. I'm probably the only Bill main out there but, hearing my main be in S Tier is awesome because I hardly see any other Bill mains around. I usually equip meme builds (Ex: Head On & Quick Quiet or No Mither & Self Care), and I'm known to be the best player out of my friend group.

I have to say that I have been both Claudette lol. It's not so much as I didn't want to do Gens but I use to have those terrible luck of always getting pushed off gens by killers. Now? I'm Altruistic Ninja Hiding Claudette. I do gens, sacrifice myself if it's a Hatch game, be the bait to get someone off hook when a killer is camping, and still go sneaky sneaky when possible. I did meet a few Claudette that didn't even want to heal when they had Botany Knowledge and I was playing as a different killer and I was 🥲 watching the Claudette crouch sneak away.
You're alright in my book then 👍😉 I respect Survivors who are sneaky, it's just the ones who are sneaky to the detriment of the rest of their team that I think are silly. LOL that had to be a sight watching her crouch sneak away! 😂

😅 My Ace stereotype was largely based on a single match I had up to that point with two really bad Ace's (so you can thank them). You'll be happy to know that I have since faced many more Ace's, and I've also met a few awesome Ace mains in the comments, so he's moved up at least a tier or two for me. Im Claudette main but do most gens cuz of solo q teammates lol (it's such a pain when u the only one who do gens and other just running around being altruism farmer and die in the process) there's also 1 more bill type just crouching behind rocks and trees

I’m somehow unable to fit either of the Claudette stereotypes because I started the game as Dwight and got to level 14 with him before switching to Claudette, and I also always seem to be found as Claudette because I do gens and unhook people
Yui main here. Love everything about her. Lore, cosmetics. Even as a survivor she's rare for me to encounter too, so youre not alone. But personally I'm more of a gen jockey, and will go out of my way to reset loops if they're safe. Even in general for the blood points (It's sad I know. But since currently its a bloodpoint event, I think its fair). Did have a full squad of Yui's once (including me), so that was fun.

as a baby claudette i am EXTREMLY bad at this game. all i do is repair gens,heal my teammates,save them when possible and get the killer on me (because 99% of the time i am the obsession) so that the others can escape cus i kinda bring the team down

so true, my top toxic players are always claudette's and nacy's i just know they going to teabag and/or not play at all and just get themselves killed and ruin the game for others, also nancy's are the one's that always dissconect when hooked lol
Nea and David I can see, but I'm surprised you say that about Ace and Dwight. Granted I have run into a few good ones of each of those, but most Dwight's I run into seem beginner to intermediate, and most Ace's feel like they're beginners or just want to meme around. I'm a claudette main because I just feel like I relate to her a lot, I run her with the circle of healing perk so I'm kind of a team healer. I hate being last in the match though, because I like playing with the team.
That's awesome that you can relate to her like that. Lore-wise and design-wise she's one of my favorites. And as long as you are a team player that's a win in my book. I hear you on not liking to be the last one because I don't like that either. I've learned I have more fun sacrificing myself for the sake of the team than being the only one to survive.
I'll admit I'm not a good looper but,I'm usually a team player. With my mains: Ace: Trying to help the team via healing and items with perks such as Botany Knowledge and Streetwise. Dwight: More gen focused Bill: Trying to be the altruistic one and going for the saves (when possible lol) and taking hits for the team. I can say that even if I'm the only one who dies in the match,I'm fine with that.
I'm not a great looper either. But I started enjoying the game a lot more when I stopped focusing on surviving and instead focus on helping my team. So I'm 100% with you on that. If I die getting everyone else out, that still feels like a win. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Ok so im gona make it easier for you. Jeffs are gen rushers they use hes perk for hiding on a gen value and most of Jeffs run prove, built to last. They are gen junkies, hope this helped!

Now even though I too love Resident Evil and Jill and Leon are my favorites, in Dead by Daylight it’s a new story. Jill players are either new, they are either chill and mostly going to be amazing, or they are ballsy players who can only compete with the likes of Cheryl players. And Cheryl’s scare me. And Leon’s, oh my god, even as a Leon Main, I get embarrassed when I see someone play him. I laugh a lot and recently have been getting annoyed by them.

I always playing with Jeff. If you see cosmeticed Jeff with Crossplay thats probably me. İ usually wearing grey metal band t-shirt, Lunar pant and brown Manbun hair. 😍 Seems like a very special character to me. If he was real he would definitely be a member of In Flames.😂
As killer mikealas are the most toxic, nea and fang are the 2nd and 3rd most toxic but not nearly as bad as mikealas. Not all mind you but when I see a mikeala in the line up it hurts. Ace being D hurts me as I love aces in games there so fun along with taps. Tap is the most wholesome to me.
I am actually surprised you feel that way about Mikaela's! We must be going against very different Mikaela players, because I don't think I've run into a single one who's been toxic to me, and there's one in almost every lobby I'm in. It just goes to show how differently we all experience this game based on who we're matched against. Sorry to upset you over Ace, the good news is my opinion of him has gone up as I've faced more of them since making this video! Dwight main. I await your toughts. Standby. Results: Wow thats...super fucking accurate WOW lol. I have 1.8k hours at the game. I consider a win or a good game where I have a decent long chase. I just leave when everyone is safe. I hate toxicity to the MAX. even the worse games I still give a "ggWP :)" . I’m still a new DBD player. I’m a Nea main, and I kinda hate that Nea has that “omg they play Nea, they’re probably a toxic teabagger” stereotype. It’s made me try to be overly altruistic in attempts to break that stereotype (which sometimes gets me killed). Much appreciation for the non-toxic-Nea recognition! 😂 Also, Ive only ever encountered Blendettes, as they’re called. I share the same sentiment of those Claudettes being bad teammates, though it is funny to watch the killer get run around by a Blendette.
Glad to meet a Nea main! I thankfully haven't had too many bad experiences with a Nea so I'm generally positive when I face one. I hear you on being altruistic. When I do play Survivor (which is admittedly rare these days 😅) I have found it more fun to be altruistic and look out for my teammates than to even escape myself. If I can get everyone else out but have to sacrifice myself in the process, that's far more of a win to me than escaping. Yeah, unfortunately I don't see too many Claudettes that strike me as a "good teammate." I have seen them, but it feels like they are rare these days. Thanks so much for watching!
Hmmmm, that's a great question. I actually left those off because some of them I face so little that it's hard to say. I honestly have probably only faced off against 1 or 2 James Sunderland's in my time, so I'm happy to meet someone who mains him! As I recall, they were fairly competent and I know they weren't at all toxic. Claire Redfield's are often very good. Chris Redfield's generally seem team oriented and altruistic. I honestly don't think I've run into a Cybil or a Lisa. Jonathan Byers' usually strike me similar to Steve mains in that they're typically not very good in my experience but are team/objective oriented. Did I forget any? Great question! I've faced some very skilled Chris' and some less skilled ones, so it's been quite the mix. But never toxic. So that plus being from RE he's an S-Tier for me.

So I hadn't gone against enough of them when I made this list originally, but now I'd say I've got some stereotypes for all of them, once again, just my current opinion based on my experiences to date: Lisa - decent at the game, hardly ever toxic, very rare, B-tier Cybil - okay at the game, hardly ever toxic, extremely rare, B-tier James - mediocre at the game, not toxic, rare, C-tier Jonathan - below-average at the game, rarely toxic, very rare, C-tier Claire - excellent at the game, high skill/challenge, rarely toxic, semi-rare, S-tier Chris - mediocre at the game, rarely toxic, very rare, B-tier

I disagree with Steve. He is most often played by the most despicable BM type survivors who are toxic as hell. Steve deserves a tier below D all to himself.
With that being your experience I can totally understand that. Honestly, not my experience, but everyone's is different. One of the reasons I like to hear from others like you.
I'd say you probably have gone against yui Jeff and Quentin (more yui than the other 2) a lot but they are usually unmemorable to go against. Nothing special not great but not bad. Just unmemorable. That's usually my experience with those survivors.

That sounds like a great way to play Yui. I started having a lot more fun when I stopped trying to just survive myself and instead started trying to make sure my team got out, even if that meant sacrificing myself along the way. If the other 3 can get out because I went back for someone that's a win in my book.

Yes, that is a good point. However, those are all Killers and more predictable in what triggers the speaking. Ash, to my knowledge, is the only Survivor that does it and it happens in the lobby. BUT if I were to be completely honest, I actually think it's pretty neat that he talks and that it's truly Bruce Campbell. I'm pretty much 99.9% kidding at that part of the video.

Jonah is one of my favorite survivors, design-wise. I was pretty excited for him, but honestly I expect him to be completely forgotten about within the next month or so.

Its so sad that hes forgetten about because I think hes one of the best looking survivors. Hell, they even animated his hair waving around when doing actions. His christmas skin with the headphones is also honestly one of the best cosmetics in game.
I agree, he's really cool looking with good cosmetics. Hopefully he catches on over time. I have seen a few more of him lately, so we'll see.

I tend to go up against Ace a lot, and I find that Aces will often try to joke around with the killer more than other survivors, which, depending on whether or not you like that, can make them an S tier or a D tier.
I'm definitely a bit biased as I am an Ace main when playing surv, but I'm trying to take my perspective from my killer matches into account only.
I am actually surprised you face Ace a lot, but perhaps I'm just not paying attention and it just feels like he's a rare one for me (which to be honest is entirely possible). But yeah, I had another Ace main comment that they tend to like to meme around and have fun, which made a lot of sense. I do enjoy when Survivors joke around with me, it's a nice break from the super sweaty matches, so hopefully I'll run into more Ash mains like yourself. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I’m shocked that you don’t encounter many different survivors. For me the only rare survivor for me is Jeff.
In a lobby I feel like I almost always get at least one Mikaela, often a Feng and/or Nea, and then usually a mix of Dwight, Meg, Claudette, David, Bill, Nancy, Leon, Nancy, or Steve to fill out the other spots. So many of the survivors I face so rarely it makes me sad. That said, Jeff definitely is the rarest. Also, of course after I made this video, I'm running into a lot of Laurie's suddenly for some reason. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
I never find Jeff ever prolly because a lot of people will either pick the female they think is the most “hot” or sweatiest. The male who looks the most like them. Or someone from their favorite property like stranger things, resident evil, silent hill etc.
Not many people look like Jeff besides Hagrid or something lol.

I actually get a third type of Claudette sometimes that is what I call the eternal altruist. Will drop gen immediately to unhook someone or body block the hook.

I'm glad to meet another Zarina main! I actually ran into two in a row yesterday, it made me happy 😂 Most of the Zarina's I've faced have not been bad at chases I'd say, just not amazing either. But if you've mained a P3 Nea that sounds about right based on your playstyle you described. I definitely do not consider flashlight saves toxic, that's the item's intended purpose 😂 It's when a Survivor chain blinds me 3-4 extra times after that that I feel it gets toxic. I'm probably the only Bill main out there but, hearing my main be in S Tier is awesome because I hardly see any other Bill mains around. I usually equip meme builds (Ex: Head On & Quick Quiet or No Mither & Self Care), and I'm known to be the best player out of my friend group.

I have to say that I have been both Claudette lol. It's not so much as I didn't want to do Gens but I use to have those terrible luck of always getting pushed off gens by killers.
Now? I'm Altruistic Ninja Hiding Claudette. I do gens, sacrifice myself if it's a Hatch game, be the bait to get someone off hook when a killer is camping, and still go sneaky sneaky when possible.
I did meet a few Claudette that didn't even want to heal when they had Botany Knowledge and I was playing as a different killer and I was 🥲 watching the Claudette crouch sneak away.
You're alright in my book then 👍😉 I respect Survivors who are sneaky, it's just the ones who are sneaky to the detriment of the rest of their team that I think are silly. LOL that had to be a sight watching her crouch sneak away! 😂

I’m somehow unable to fit either of the Claudette stereotypes because I started the game as Dwight and got to level 14 with him before switching to Claudette, and I also always seem to be found as Claudette because I do gens and unhook people

Yui main here. Love everything about her. Lore, cosmetics. Even as a survivor she's rare for me to encounter too, so youre not alone. But personally I'm more of a gen jockey, and will go out of my way to reset loops if they're safe. Even in general for the blood points (It's sad I know. But since currently its a bloodpoint event, I think its fair). Did have a full squad of Yui's once (including me), so that was fun.

as a baby claudette i am EXTREMLY bad at this game. all i do is repair gens,heal my teammates,save them when possible and get the killer on me (because 99% of the time i am the obsession) so that the others can escape cus i kinda bring the team down

Nea and David I can see, but I'm surprised you say that about Ace and Dwight. Granted I have run into a few good ones of each of those, but most Dwight's I run into seem beginner to intermediate, and most Ace's feel like they're beginners or just want to meme around. I'm a claudette main because I just feel like I relate to her a lot, I run her with the circle of healing perk so I'm kind of a team healer. I hate being last in the match though, because I like playing with the team.
That's awesome that you can relate to her like that. Lore-wise and design-wise she's one of my favorites. And as long as you are a team player that's a win in my book. I hear you on not liking to be the last one because I don't like that either. I've learned I have more fun sacrificing myself for the sake of the team than being the only one to survive.

Granted there will always be more categories/types, but those are just the primary two that I run into frequently.
I'll admit I'm not a good looper but,I'm usually a team player.
With my mains:
Ace: Trying to help the team via healing and items with perks such as Botany Knowledge and Streetwise.
Dwight: More gen focused
Bill: Trying to be the altruistic one and going for the saves (when possible lol) and taking hits for the team.
I can say that even if I'm the only one who dies in the match,I'm fine with that.
I'm not a great looper either. But I started enjoying the game a lot more when I stopped focusing on surviving and instead focus on helping my team. So I'm 100% with you on that. If I die getting everyone else out, that still feels like a win. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Ok so im gona make it easier for you. Jeffs are gen rushers they use hes perk for hiding on a gen value and most of Jeffs run prove, built to last. They are gen junkies, hope this helped!

Now even though I too love Resident Evil and Jill and Leon are my favorites, in Dead by Daylight it’s a new story. Jill players are either new, they are either chill and mostly going to be amazing, or they are ballsy players who can only compete with the likes of Cheryl players. And Cheryl’s scare me. And Leon’s, oh my god, even as a Leon Main, I get embarrassed when I see someone play him. I laugh a lot and recently have been getting annoyed by them.

As killer mikealas are the most toxic, nea and fang are the 2nd and 3rd most toxic but not nearly as bad as mikealas. Not all mind you but when I see a mikeala in the line up it hurts. Ace being D hurts me as I love aces in games there so fun along with taps. Tap is the most wholesome to me.
I am actually surprised you feel that way about Mikaela's! We must be going against very different Mikaela players, because I don't think I've run into a single one who's been toxic to me, and there's one in almost every lobby I'm in. It just goes to show how differently we all experience this game based on who we're matched against. Sorry to upset you over Ace, the good news is my opinion of him has gone up as I've faced more of them since making this video! Results: Wow thats...super fucking accurate WOW lol. I have 1.8k hours at the game. I consider a win or a good game where I have a decent long chase. I just leave when everyone is safe. I hate toxicity to the MAX. even the worse games I still give a "ggWP :)" . I make good mind game reads and can loop well, but I have my off games as well I'd say 50-50.

I’m still a new DBD player. I’m a Nea main, and I kinda hate that Nea has that “omg they play Nea, they’re probably a toxic teabagger” stereotype. It’s made me try to be overly altruistic in attempts to break that stereotype (which sometimes gets me killed). Much appreciation for the non-toxic-Nea recognition! 😂
Also, Ive only ever encountered Blendettes, as they’re called. I share the same sentiment of those Claudettes being bad teammates, though it is funny to watch the killer get run around by a Blendette.
Glad to meet a Nea main! I thankfully haven't had too many bad experiences with a Nea so I'm generally positive when I face one. I hear you on being altruistic. When I do play Survivor (which is admittedly rare these days 😅) I have found it more fun to be altruistic and look out for my teammates than to even escape myself. If I can get everyone else out but have to sacrifice myself in the process, that's far more of a win to me than escaping.
Yeah, unfortunately I don't see too many Claudettes that strike me as a "good teammate." I have seen them, but it feels like they are rare these days.

Do you have any stereotypes for legendary set characters, like James Sunderland (James Sunderland Main here)?
Hmmmm, that's a great question. I actually left those off because some of them I face so little that it's hard to say. I honestly have probably only faced off against 1 or 2 James Sunderland's in my time, so I'm happy to meet someone who mains him! As I recall, they were fairly competent and I know they weren't at all toxic. Claire Redfield's are often very good. Chris Redfield's generally seem team oriented and altruistic. I honestly don't think I've run into a Cybil or a Lisa. Jonathan Byers' usually strike me similar to Steve mains in that they're typically not very good in my experience but are team/objective oriented. Did I forget any? Great question! I've faced some very skilled Chris' and some less skilled ones, so it's been quite the mix. But never toxic. So that plus being from RE he's an S-Tier for me.

So I hadn't gone against enough of them when I made this list originally, but now I'd say I've got some stereotypes for all of them, once again, just my current opinion based on my experiences to date:
Lisa - decent at the game, hardly ever toxic, very rare, B-tier
Cybil - okay at the game, hardly ever toxic, extremely rare, B-tier
James - mediocre at the game, not toxic, rare, C-tier
Jonathan - below-average at the game, rarely toxic, very rare, C-tier
Claire - excellent at the game, high skill/challenge, rarely toxic, semi-rare, S-tier
Chris - mediocre at the game, rarely toxic, very rare, B-tier

I disagree with Steve. He is most often played by the most despicable BM type survivors who are toxic as hell. Steve deserves a tier below D all to himself.

Worst in terms of least favorite to go against or in terms of them generally being the least skilled?
I'd say you probably have gone against yui Jeff and Quentin (more yui than the other 2) a lot but they are usually unmemorable to go against. Nothing special not great but not bad. Just unmemorable. That's usually my experience with those survivors.

@@theARoberts Yui’s to me are badasses. Theyre breakout users who are bold and fearless and end up dying for their team and are amazingly skilled. Thats how i play yui and how i imagine others do as well.
That sounds like a great way to play Yui. I started having a lot more fun when I stopped trying to just survive myself and instead started trying to make sure my team got out, even if that meant sacrificing myself along the way. If the other 3 can get out because I went back for someone that's a win in my book.

Yes, that is a good point. However, those are all Killers and more predictable in what triggers the speaking. Ash, to my knowledge, is the only Survivor that does it and it happens in the lobby.
BUT if I were to be completely honest, I actually think it's pretty neat that he talks and that it's truly Bruce Campbell. I'm pretty much 99.9% kidding at that part of the video.
