Yes, she even eloped to marry Ferdinand. During all her youth, she insisted that she herself would be the one to choose her own husband. But she didn't choose Ferdinand for romantic reasons, her decision was rather political. In a marriage with him, it was possible for her to stay in Castile, while the marriages her brother planned for her (with the King of Portugal or with the French prince) would have moved her away from Castile.
Yes. Maybe it also supported her decision that she knew that Ferdinand was a healthy and attractive man and of her age (unlike her other suitors). It's admirable how she always decided about her own fate, whatever the costs, when all the other young women of that age were just told what to do, who to marry, and everything.
She herself also chose her own husband for political reasons, and she asked her daughter to accept the marriage she chose for political reasons too. At least she chose a young and handsome prince for her daughter, not some elderly king.

Rather 400 years, till Queen Victoria. Occasionally, they did wear white on the wedding, but it was not tradition. For example, Catherine of Aragon, Queen Isabella's daughter and Princess Isabella's sister, wore a white gown on her wedding to Prince Arthur. Since it has always been the symbol of "purity", it was a suitable colour for brides, but didn't become a ruling tradition, only after Victoria.
Look, audiences are stupid. There is a rule about not making things too obvious to the audience, but its no longer adhered to. She's wearing white so the audience, people of today, can quickly go "ah yes, I understand". Sure they're talking about marriage, but it no longer clicks without white involved.
Not entirely correct. Catherine of Aragon wore white wedding dress on day of her wedding to prince Arthur. White satin with golden threats i believe. More importantly it was gown with hoops in spanish style. Meaning verdugado/fartingale. It wasn't English choice, it was Spanish choice to have her in white. While I think that costume department in this tv show often didn't have clue about proper spanish dress nor headwear(it look historical, but not remotely accurate in most cases), choice of white for wedding dress was justifiable in this case, because of Catherine of Aragon wearing white as bride.
Well that was the normal thing back then, all royals married for alliance, no exceptions. They lived a luxurious life while their subjects lived among harsh circumstances, and the price the royals paid for it was that in some things they had to put their country's/subjects' interests above their own personal wishes. Marriage was such a thing.
It's a Spanish series so everyone speaks Spanish including foreigners. Just like in British and American shows everyone speaks English, even the Vikings, the Romans, the French, etc.... It's as simple as that.
It's not a hijab, it's just a veil. Very religious married Christian women used to wear something to cover her heads, we can see it on her portraits too.

As well as the open veil like Isabella wears here, in slightly earlier times than this some women wore the wimple, which tucked right around the face. Christian women, especially married ones, often covered their hair for modesty. The full wimple had gone out of fashion by Isabella's time, but nuns still wore it, and in some places still do. By this period, women are moving more towards caps and hoods - here's Margaret of Austria, age 10, Isabella's future daughter in law, painted at about this time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1400%E2%80%931500_in_European_fashion#/media/File:Master_of_Moulins_004.jpg
It was a transparent veil, which Isabel made fashionable throughout the aristocracy. They used to wear an opaque veil, but she was very flirtatious and after having her first child, she put the veil on. It was the custom of the time but she modernized it. So her veil was always transparent
