This looked so good I made breakfast for supper including chunky potatoes, fresh biscuits and country ham with red eye gravy! Glad you explained about your gravy John because I knew it wasn't red eye when they brought your plate. If you don't like coffee you wouldn't have liked it, it's an acquired taste and definitely made for sopping a biscuit! Just some strong coffee dumped in the grease from the fried ham! Total heart attack!. I live in a retirement high rise and the neighbors were wandering the hall trying to find where my cooking smells were coming from. I smirked because I'm old and I can! I love Loretta so much!!😍 My Mom took me to her concert's when I was a toddler and up. She was the sweetest and sassy to!! I was in 7th grade when Coal Miners Daughter came out. My friends & I would go see it after school everyday. I think, I've seen it 200+ time's.😂 TYSM for showing us this!! I enjoyed every second!! I remember my Mom & older sister wore Loretta's clothing line back in the early 1980's to. I need one of those mugs.😃
Not sure if you can mail order the mug you could call and ask. That is a very good movie we still watch it at least 2 times a year. She will be missed.😎😎
I am always pleased with their breakfast. The white gray is saw mill gravy. My granny made it. But can't beat red eye gravy. The sad thing about reviews is you get more bad than good. Wish folks would take a minute and put review either way. We have been eating there for years and service and food always good. Glad it still has country homestyle look.

Y’all were at MM143…BUT the Log Cabin is much better and has homemade desserts, it’s located on the same road. MM108 heading West towards Memphis, TN on I-40 has a restaurant that offers home cooked meals that are AWESOME and never disappoints! Highly recommend their burgers that are always fresh and hand pattied which is hard to come by anymore. Chicken Alfredo is really good😋 AND they also offer a buffet 👍🏼 so you can’t go wrong. Did we forget to mention their homemade desserts 😃 that you are drawn to instantly when you walk in the doors. They will have you drooling before you are even seated. The family owned restaurant is called Patty’s. You’ll always find a truck driver parked there, that’s a sign in itself. A trucker knows where to find good food 😁 They are a little pricey, but who isn’t now a days since groceries went up. They’ve got to make a living as well. Hope y’all get a chance to check it out. Those potato pieces and the ham are HUGE! Such a reasonable price for breakfast. I tend to prefer sugar ham vs country ham (because of the over-saltiness) but looks very yummy! I know how Bobbie feels about the pepper in the gravy. Not the biggest black pepper fan, but I know country gravy generally is peppery - the region tends to determine the level of pepper in the gravy. What a cute eatery and LOVE all the Loretta merchandise. Such fun!

I ate in there before but, it’s been yrs ago and, we had lunch and, it looks close to the same but, not quite exactly! But, we never had much complaints about the food! And, the staff seemed pretty friendly! Yes, good old country gravy, which growing up we knew as milk gravy, we even would take it and just put it over white bread! Some people refer to it as sawdust gravy, even though it taste nothing like sawdust! 😊
I just love the fact that she has a race track! I'm a huge Supercross fan, and I know that track means a lot to the racers that practice there. I love her music, and one day, I will make it there and definitely eat at Lorreta Lynn's Kitchen.
Went there probably 10 years ago. It was for dinner and we did the buffet. The best thing on the buffet was the fried catfish. Everything else was just alright. I asked our waitress if Loretta ever came in, she said no but her manager did come in to pickup orders of catfish. That waitress was there for 2 years. I love Loretta, but don't know how you could have a restaurant a few miles up the road from your house and not drop in. Lol. Loved the video. Thanks for sharing!
She loved Catfish and got it also at the Log Cabin Restaurant we just reviewed last week. I don't know how much in later years she was involved in this place. She didn't own it they kind of went in business together by using her name is what I understand. But I understand your point about going in.😎😎

Red eye gravy is delicious, not a coffee flavor. My mom would make it with ham, plus, gravy. You would put the biscuit, gravy, then cover with red eye gravy. Absolutely delicious.
The restaurant was very clean the food looked good. The prices were very reasonable and good service who could ask for anything more? Here in Dallas you would pay a lot more.
My husband and I will certainly try this place out if we’re ever in the area..lots of nostalgia, and the food looked amazing. I like country ham too, especially..growing up, our family raised cows and hogs, and chickens. I had no idea Crystal Gayle and Loretta Lynn were sisters! I grew up listening to Crystal. My dad had a thing for her. Lol. ETA : Breakfast looked really good. Breakfast is my fave meal. I can eat breakfast foods for every meal.
Looks like a worthwhile stop. I may have missed it-do they serve breakfast all day. Regarding the “red eye gravy” - as John duly noted it was milk.pepper gravy and I’m sure very good. The biscuits looked fantastic-nice and dark which is one of my wife’s criticisms of Cracker Barrel’s biscuits-never brown enough. Btw I have had the real red eye gravy and it’s not really a gravy-more like an au jus. Give me the thicker stuff always. Another fine review!
That was some good looking home cured bacon and ham. It is a bit fatty but the real taste is much better. I love that there menus are small but true home simple cooking. I like the sugar cured Han too. They never have my name either lol.

I never met Loretta Lynn but about 12 years I met her younger sister Crystal Gayle at the American music theater in Lancaster and we had the neatest talk about Loretta Lynn's mansion being haunted and a few months after we talked about that a TV show called ghost adventures came to investigate Loretta Lynn's mansion the show is on the travel channel
i see why you moved to the quiet room as it sounded like they were torturing a child in the other room, or there was a roller coaster ride and you were near the big dip, lol. the breakfast looked just average but i was pleasantly surprised that the potatoes, that looked like cooked from frozen, or dried out, was just right, per what you say. :-)

WaffleHouse omelets are better than any I've ever had anywhere. I once planned a trip from Kansas to the eastern shore of Maryland that included a waffle house within an hour of our overnight stops. My husband still tells everyone! Cheese omelet with just onion, grits, raisin toast and apple butter. Their grits are nice of fluffy but you do have to add salt and pepper! And butter. Pancakes and waffles are great too but I crave those melt in your mouth omelets!

It's been awhile since I was there, and they have/had truck parking. I bought the cookbook.

Food looked good but I prefer hash browns not large chunk cuts. That would not stop me from visiting though. I like country gravy like you had, not red eye gravy & love gravy with biscuits. I could spend lots of time looking at all the memorabilia. Thanks for the review.

Red eye gravy is delicious, not a coffee flavor. My mom would make it with ham, plus, gravy. You would put the biscuit, gravy, then cover with red eye gravy. Absolutely delicious.

The restaurant was very clean the food looked good. The prices were very reasonable and good service who could ask for anything more? Here in Dallas you would pay a lot more.

My husband and I will certainly try this place out if we’re ever in the area..lots of nostalgia, and the food looked amazing. I like country ham too, especially..growing up, our family raised cows and hogs, and chickens. Brings back many memories..the fat on bacon is what gives its flavor..fat, in moderation, is good…healthier than sugar…Thanks for the wonderful review y’all..God bless.

Looks like a worthwhile stop. I may have missed it-do they serve breakfast all day. Regarding the “red eye gravy” - as John duly noted it was milk.pepper gravy and I’m sure very good. The biscuits looked fantastic-nice and dark which is one of my wife’s criticisms of Cracker Barrel’s biscuits-never brown enough.
Btw I have had the real red eye gravy and it’s not really a gravy-more like an au jus. Give me the thicker stuff always. Another fine review!
That was some good looking home cured bacon and ham. It is a bit fatty but the real taste is much better. I love that there menus are small but true home simple cooking. I like the sugar cured Han too. They never have my name either lol.

I never met Loretta Lynn but about 12 years I met her younger sister Crystal Gayle at the American music theater in Lancaster and we had the neatest talk about Loretta Lynn's mansion being haunted and a few months after we talked about that a TV show called ghost adventures came to investigate Loretta Lynn's mansion the show is on the travel channel
We love the American music theater in Lancaster. We had seen a lot of good shows there.😎😎

i see why you moved to the quiet room as it sounded like they were torturing a child in the other room, or there was a roller coaster ride and you were near the big dip, lol. the breakfast looked just average but i was pleasantly surprised that the potatoes, that looked like cooked from frozen, or dried out, was just right, per what you say. :-)

That place is basically Waffle House with a slightly different menu and Loretta Lynn memorabilia. Basically Waffle 🧇 House 🏠 for tourists.
We have never been to a Waffle House. They had some nice paintings of Loretta. 😎😎
WaffleHouse omelets are better than any I've ever had anywhere. I once planned a trip from Kansas to the eastern shore of Maryland that included a waffle house within an hour of our overnight stops. My husband still tells everyone! Cheese omelet with just onion, grits, raisin toast and apple butter. Their grits are nice of fluffy but you do have to add salt and pepper! And butter. Pancakes and waffles are great too but I crave those melt in your mouth omelets!
