It's not a good reflection of his in-universe strength tbf, the three Wild Cards sans P3-kun with the Universe (Aigis, Joker, Yu) are canonically relative if not completely equal in power. I'm sorry I just think it's really funny that most megaten superboss nukes are like big and climactic explosions like Megidolaon or Gaea Rage, and then there's Joker, who just shoots you
As someone who’s only really played through persona five and hasn’t touched four or three yet(but I do wanna play them) Having joker be crazy difficult on heartless mode makes a lot of sense especially with how I personally play persona. I typically have joker use a DLC persona, which is extremely overpowered and is immune to being critically hit by all but two types of attacks that enemies I’ve noticed in at least safe mode almost never use. I also noticed a lot of people would talk about how easy persona five was, and narrative wise. This kind of answered the question as to why. He’s just that strong. And for me at least, I’m fine with that. I probably never will play any of the persona games beyond the easiest level, simply because I am not good at strategy games whatsoever, but really do love the stories that some games are trying to tell. From a gameplay standpoint, I think they should have had his critical be tied to the persona he’s using, so that the chance of him being critical is still there just not nearly as often unless you’re constantly checking(if you can do that in P3 of course). -from a random person who both has not enough time on their hands too much time on their hands

sadly, this is what the Megaten games are known for during end game scenarios. its a staple and for spin-offs like Persona, it is no exception. I mean, Elizabeth, Margaret (Persona 4) and Lavenza/Twins (Persona 5) are pretty much blatant examples in modern Persona games
I'd make a "RPG players when they actually have to strategize joke" but in all seriousness, that's just Megaten. We do have Masakados and Satan in SMTVV which don't have a list of rules, but Persona 3 Reload and 5 Vengeance are two very different games so, idrk

Hi bainz, cool vid as I really hated this fight with him. This vid gave me some pointers and I was able to beat him on normal Just curious, how did you get everyone's HP so high?
I really wanted to fight a P5 joker-like joker, not a fake Elizabeth who would attack for 9999 damage as soon as she committed an invisible violation. Atlas should think more.
Question, cause I honestly need some answers for this myself... What exactly ARE the rules for this fight? I'm finally starting some attempts for it myself and after he uses the 4 multi-target elemental spells he just starts wiping my party with Sinful Shell, and I genuinely cannot figure out why. It's been kind of frustrating to be honest.
All the rules are in the first section. If he's using Sinful Shell after that part, you may have Repel/Null/Absorbed with 2+ party members, or Aigis herself
If i want to do this on heartless do i *need* all my characters to have max magic/endurance? Also, does that mean koromaru is just useless on heartless
Theurgies scale off both Str/Ma, so those two get maxed, and Endurance is definitely needed. And yea, Koro isn't great for this boss on Heartless, no crits so Power Howling not as useful, and can't use Debilitate unless Joker has at least 1 stat up already
999 HP lets you survive his concentrated Megidoloans and crits. Without close to max HP, he'll destroy your party with weakness attacks/crits/charged Megidoloans.
Let's go my goat bainz, a new member to the I beat heartless Joker club!!
