That would be hilarious to watch. To the confused people reading this comment, If you’ve seen any of Lando’s post race Twitch Streams you’ll understand the references.
Yes, the teams are only allowed to hide the cars when the engine cover is off. There used to be a lot of spying on race weekends, this led to a busy pit lane, with every team trying to get pictures of each other car, while hiding their own. Now with the cars in the open, they can get their pictures right away, and it's a lot more relaxed for the rest of the weekend.
@@coast2coast00 Is it because of redundancy? I know back then TV cameras and phones do not give out nearly enough quality for something an engineering team would use. But nowadays something as small as your thumb could take pictures better than a smartphone, with TV coverage giving more than enough chances to study rival cars?

@McLaren, I volunteer to finally wipe that black dot off of the camera lens. Just free airfare and accommodations should be fine.
That is probably some dust on the Camera Sensor. It is harder to clean hopefully it isnt long term!
