~Tapping into Your Potential Where Others Saw None~ Видеоклипы
Frank Sinatra was John Bon Jovi's great uncle, they called him Frankie, and yeah he definitely got a shout out
You caught it and are the first reactor that I've seen catch it !!
He’s the first I’ve seen catch it too!
Great job!👍🏻
Fr though it always seems as though they've never even heard of him or that song despite the fact it is arguably one of the most famous songs of all time
That was awesome. Never heard anyone catch it either
Yeah he is the first
Frank was his great uncle
Jon references Tommy and Gina from Living on a Prayer in 86!!
This was in 2000, so check out the other!!
Next on your list should be Wanted Dead or Alive, You Give Love a Bad Name, Blaze of Glory, Livin' On a Prayer.
Also, the extra sound / tube thing that Richie Sambora plays a lot is called a talk box.
He already watched livin' on a prayer
This song makes me feel so old. I was in high school when this came out.
Really? You make me feel even older sayin that.. lol
We are a teeny bit old-ish. Gen Z forever!! We rock. ❤️❤️
I'm just at the intro, but this is Bon Jovi past their real "Hair Metal" phase. But they have a very deep catalog. I'll let other people make recommendations, but I'll throw "Runaway" out for the heck of it, because it was their first big hit.
Longevity man. Aerosmith, motley Crue. Real hair bands guns and roses but no longevity
Wow.. evidence of a true fan.. way to go Jeff Conner.. Runaway was the 1st..
@@chrisalloway4189 true fans are rare to come by these days, because theres nobody left but us these days
Saw them as an opening band for Scorps! About ‘84
They throw away their hair metal image in the 80s. 90s Bon Jovi was a different breed.
“That don’t mean you got to die today “. Haha. I totally agree. That had me giggling for sure. Nice reaction! Btw I love Jon’s (lead singer) smile. Best smile ever!
That is EXACTLY what he said and meant.. Great job!
Hell yeah.. Frankie said I did it My Way. And Frankie was from Jersey just like this band is
Frankie was Jon's great uncle 😊
Bon Jovi is a great rabbit hole to explore ; many hits to chose; You give love a bad name, Wanted dead or alive, Bed of roses to name a few
This song is just a mood. Its the best way to pump yourself up. And yes, you caught a bar. I love the part of the song where he says "I just want to live while I'm alive". That's powerful.
Me and my sister got to sing with Jon Bon Jovi 2 years ago. We sang “Bad Medicine”. That man is such a sweetheart, I love him 😍
One of my favorite childhood songs ever!!!!
when bon jovi started in the 80s' he was part of the 'hair band'. We called male bands that because they all sported long, permed, incredible hair. If you watch Living on a prayer and earlier videos by Bon Jovi you'll see how their hair was then compared to this video
I think most of those bands didn't transition well and didn't stay popular. Bon Jovi adapted and survived. Changing styles too with how they look.
Not to mention for Bon Jovi- Jon’s dad was a hair stylist and he cut all the band’s hair when they started out!
@@jcdvt1 his dad did great work, i always loved jon's hair
@@CrazeeAdam you're so right thats a shame, there was some great bands
@@CrazeeAdam Yeah. Bon Jovi's done dang near everything except rap.
Side note : Tommy and Gina were in the Bon Jovi song " Living on a Prayer"
Gotta check out Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi...awesome song and video
You got the bar right, and at 4:25 - "for Tommy and Gina who never backed down" - a reference back to "Livin On A Prayer". And 6:15 - the sound from the voice box (the tube). It's where the sound came from in Livin on a Prayer, too.
The lengths fans will go to in order to see a Bon Jovi show!!
I'm here for this because this is my jammmm
"Have A Nice Day" is a good one from around the time this one came out (within a few years of each other, I would say) but one of his older ones Is "Blaze of Glory" and it's one of my favorites.
For Tommy and Gina who never backed down, of course, making reference to our couple from "Living on a Prayer".
Honestly just anything Bon Jovi. Been a fan since I was a kid in the 80's and the only concert I have ever been to was on the tour for this album. Bon Jovi is amazing, even the acoustic version of some of his song.... just amazing.
Worth every second it took him to get there!!!!🎵🎼🎶🎧🎧🥁🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I really love the lyrics in all of their songs. 💯
My brother, here, ALWAYS calls it THE SAME WAY I do....it's very comforting in times of unrest. Thank you bro.
..."Like Frankie said I did it my way" Yep. You got that right. I also like . . . "You gotta' make your own breaks." Damned right! ;)
Living on a prayer...probably his best one, but lots of good ones, you give love a bad name, bed of roses, wanted dead or alive, list goes on
Fun fact: That young man is the youngest of the Reagan police family on Blue Bloods. Bon Jovi was a hair band. They've toned it down since the 80s, lol. Yes, he was talking about Sinatra, lol. Others you should check out...Wanted Dead or Alive, Keep the Faith, I'll Be There for You, Bad Medicine, Lay Your Hands on Me and his solo, Blaze of Glory that he wrote for the movie Young Guns 2
Called a hair band bcus of their hair back in the 80's This song was released in May 2000. And yes he had to fight to be able to say"Frankie said I did it my way" since it was an actual song from Frank Sinatra.
Yes Frankie said I did it my way !! And yes if it’s a concert in the 80s you do what you need to
Bon Jovi first hit was runaway.
Watch it. It will explain why they are called a hair band. 😂👍
I love you always.😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Tube thing is the talking guitar. Gives a cool effect.
Saw them a few years ago at Madison Square Garden. They still got it.
He was indeed referencing Sinatra. They're from the same state. You should catch Bed of Roses.
Yes that was a Frank Sinatra reference to Frank's song. I read they were related. If you haven't yet, listen to You Give Love a Bad Name.
Fun fact, “Frankie” is frank sanataria (sorry for the spelling) who is he’s related to. Frankie said I did it my way was off his song “I’ll do it my way”
You are the only person I've seen on youtube react to the Frankie line! Great catch
Check out some of their love songs: Never Say Goodbye, You Wanna Make a Memory, Thank You for Loving Me
So many great Bon Jovi songs. My favorite is Bed of Roses
There’s something about watching a BonJovi video, you can’t not smile.
Yes, he said "Like Frankie said I did it my way."
Frank Sinatra is one of Jon Bon Jovi's heros.
Thanx Van.. music has always played a role in my life.. I listen to it all. Before my time (I'm 51), and during, all genre.. even instrumental and classical. Because sometimes I just want to here beautiful art and do my own thinking.. lyrics and vocals can get in the way.. anywho Bon Jovi is a great band. Saw the live twice. The Slippery When Wet tour, their breakout album, and again on the follow up New Jersey.. listen to any song from those two albums. They are full of hits. My personal favorites in no particular order are: Never Say Goodbye, I'll Be There For You, Born To Be My Baby, Bad Medicine, Wild In The Streets, Blood On Blood, Living In Sin.. hard to deny that list.. check em out
just caught JOJO watchin this one too. His reaction was hilarious
Check out “Have A Nice Day ,Bounce, You Had Me at Hello, We Weren’t Born To Follow, Undivided”. So many GREAT songs over 40 years!
Inspiring! Go all the way down this rabbit hole!
The " talk box!"....Richie can make it sing!
I've watched 6 videos and I'm hooked on your reactions! Love you man
Yup. I believe that they call it a Talk Box.
You need to start from the very beginning and do runaway, then continue to each lp. You'll see why they were considered hair band and so on. Have to watch lay your hands on me - shows the fun times at the concerts. Only missed them once
I love your sense of humor 🙂
Gotta check out "runaway", fav Bon Jovi tune
Jamey Johnson in color, best song ever written
Thank you for the comment on that last jump!
Omfg I love this song hit that thannggg!
My all time favorite of Bon Jovi... Never Say Goodbye.... OMG so much High School for me... the lyrics are perfect for pretty much everyone that's gone through HS
Right on! For me to.. among countless other bands and music from the 80s. Btw Never Say Goodbye was my Prom theme.. lol. Its true. Friends going their own way after high school but..
First Reactor to catch the Frankie shout out? Hell yes!
Check out Bon Jovi "Bed of Roses". Will Estes, the actor that plays Tommy in this video, was also in the movie U-571 alongside Jon Bon Jovi. He is also on the tv show Blue Bloods with Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck. He plays Jamie Reagan on the show.
Have a Nice Day is a good one to do also
Just finished listening to this song lolol
Guitarist Richie Sambora is using a talk box. Peter Frampton was the man on that. Perhaps the 1st. Dont know. Check out his song Show Me The Way. Way back in 1976
Jon Bon Jovi is a blood relative to Frank Sinatra, great Uncle... both lived in the ritzy jersey hood lol... but that is my favorite line in the song being My Way is my favorite Sinatra song.. which I JUST WATCHED YOUR REACTION TO LOLOL, so tjat was wierd this reaction came right after... i said to my wife, i wonder if he'll pick up on that line... and you did... great job bro.. \m/
Fun facts. Will Estes the actor that plays Tommy in this video was also in the movie U-571 alongside Jon Bon Jovi, who asked Will to be in this video. If you are a Blue Bloods fan, Will also plays Jamie Reagan on the show. He performs most of his own stunts, and did a lot of his own in this video.
You caught it !
Excellent song brother
Love your reactions. “Wanted Dead or Alive”, “Blaze of Glory”…from the movie “Young Guns”, & “I’ll Be There For you”.
Ha awesome reaction. U nailed the video and song spot on. Ur highly entertaining. U just picked up another subscriber!! Btw, love broccoli.
For him it is.
Love this song!! Nice choice!!
You got the Frank Sinatra reference! GREAT JOB! LOL
Runway was their first song. Bon Jovi is the lead singer but Richie Sambora is the lead guitarist. The two combined together to give us some of the best music to this date.
Bon Jovi's videos are always great! They take their music seriously but not so much themselves. Great song recommendations below. Also yeah. This is "after hair cut" time. (Damn though Jon has, to this day some of the best hair in rock!) A good song WITH the hair is either "You give love a bad name" or "Livin on a Prayer" One song that nobody does is a newer one, during the pandemic but before vaccinations that Jon did. It's called "Do what you can" I would HIGHLY recommend it and I think you'd really like it.
Interesting fact. Jon has been with his wife for 40 years. Not common in rock. Together they have a foundation that has "pay if you can" type restaurants and have expanded to food banks during the pandemic. He is just a great all around guy in many ways. (and can make a girl jealous of a haircut and a t-shirt 🙃 )
With their variety you have hit a rabbit hole for sure!
I enjoy your reactions! Yes it was about Frank Sinatra and his song, I Did It My Way!
he did and you did !!! haha
As for hair bands, check out the original videos for Skid Row's Wasted Time, 18 and Life, and I Remember You ❤
Yeah "like Frankie said 'i did it my way'" is what he said. :) by Frank Sinatra. You got it! And yeah Richie Sambora used the "talk box" which makes a cool electrical sound. Really cool stuff
I couldn't help but notice the closed caption after you caught a bar but I didn't see it till then
He 100% meant Frank Sinatra - good on you!!!!
React to bon jovi live in London Wembley 1995
Living on a prayer
Always
Bad medicine/ shout
Or any of the set list
Bon jovi is amazing live
Can u imagine the the traffic they caused??????? Blocked off a tunnel in New York gave a mini concert while they taped the video for MTV......
Omg I can't believe I'm first! Excellent commentary
Lol. Its jon bovi!!!!!
Hi, new to your channel. I love what I've seen so far. I need to ask though, when you film these, is it actually the first time you've seen/heard the songs?
I am such a Bon Jovi fan. This is an absolute favorite I loved him then and 40 years later I still do. The hair thing was from 80's this hair is 90's. Lol
Booooo
@@michaeldinkowitz8505 ?
@@damikey18 what’s up?
Yep, he used a a frank Sinatra reference!!the next referí Tommy’s MadTommy Gina is from one of his own hit singles Living on a prayer. You should check that one out. Love your Channel. Thanks for the entertainment!!!
Bad medicine is excellent song
Yep. Frank Sinatra who sung MY WAY.
This is just a fun song,
(3:44) Yes he did! ;)
Yes that's a Sinatra reference!!
Definitely Wanted Dead or Alive and Runaway are two you should check out.
Sometimes you just gotta get to a Bon Jovi concert, I guessXD
How did you like that pager? There was a moment in my life I carried a pager for work, a mobile phone for work and my personal mobile phone? 😂 I think back in that and literally cringe. I love Bob Jovi, always have. ❤️ That dude almost died trying to get to his girl and this concert. That is serious. 😂 ❤️
Yes, he was referring to Frank Sinatra. He and Sinatra are both Jersey boys
On a different note, check out The Legend of Wooly Swamp by The Charlie Daniels Band. You'll enjoy it.
If you want to see Bon Jovi at the height of their "Hair Band" phase, you should watch "You Give Love A Bad Name"
He was talking about Frank Santana
Van try some parmesan cheese on top of those veggies 🤌
Dry Country live from London 95 Reaction please Best guitar solo ever
Bon Jovi has so much for you! Check out “Living in Sin.” Along with about 40 other hits lol. ❤️😊🔥
