I have a music degree, and this came out when I was taking music theory, which had a listening skills component. I'd bought the score for this song and was practicing it on the baby grand that we used in our classroom. I'd gotten so in tune with this song that when our teacher was testing the class, at one point I asked him "Are you playing F and B-flat?" (one of the common intervals in this song). The teacher gave me a shocked look like I'd suddenly developed perfect pitch. (I hadn't.) A treasured memory!

I've always loved Bon Jovi - They do some amazing acoustic versions of their songs live too and I'll be there for you is another stunner and Santa Fe, underrated imo and Jon does a stunning version of Hallelujah live too.

I have loved Jon Bon Jovi since I was 12. I have been to every concert he has had near me, except one because I was in labor with out daughter. My husband vetoed my idea to name her Jovianne though. I have a small tattoo on my ankle I designed from one of his little known songs. This song is one of his bed and it's so raw and autobiographical. He got back to her and married her, and having married my high school love and sharing a life until he died at 45, this one gets my heart. You should do Romeo & Juliet by Dire Straits. Old song, but so good.

Bon Jovi, what's not to love? I've heard them called a bunch of things, cliched, old fashioned, too soft etc, but they are an amazing band. Don't know of many who do a 3 hour live set night after night, month after month!
This song and In These Arms are my 2 favorite Bon Jovi songs. Of course the 80's rock Bon Jovi songs are amazing too but this song was really what introduced a more mature Bon Jovi to us all.

Love Bon Jovi, they have a incredible catalog of music 🎶 talk about a incredible live show for many decades! Jon Bon Jovi can’t sing like he use to but him and lead guitarist Richie Sambora are fantastic combination of pure talent they wrote so many great songs together and performances but the whole band are true musicians! I will always be a fan of them and there music! You should do MORE Bon Jovi music! How about Always, I’ll Be There For You, Bad Medicine, Keep The Faith, Have A Nice Day and In These Arms! All great songs and music 🎶 think you’d love them!

I do have a suggestion, Eric Clapton "Wonderful Tonight" but it must, must be the live original version from 12 ago. He is a guitar genius!! Makes you wait for amazing, beautiful ending. Hi Van. I’m glad to see more music! I’m not anti you doing political stuff at all. Especially if you’re enjoying it. I normally like it too, but it’s just so divisive these days, and the truth is I come to the LFR family to watch you and the community you’ve cultivated bond over things like music. Not argue.
Just to be clear it’s not like I’m unsubscribing or anything 😁, I still love ya, I just come here to watch you find and enjoy music, comedy and other stuff so I leave all the crappy things around the world be for a few minutes.
If you’re digging’ doing the political stuff keep doing it, but I’ll probably just be tuning in for the music. Btw, I’d love to see you react live to some full live concerts. Doesn’t even need to have video imo. Only music would be fine. There’s some amazing bootlegs out there. Personally some of my favorites are Led Zeppelin in 77’, or maybe Pink Floyd in 74’ although if you are doing one late at night there’s a Billy Joel show from 1976 that is just so good and chill. Nice way to end a day :)
