I watched quite a bunch of microfreak videos lately. Also about the new firmware update. But really none of them had such beautiful music as yours has.❤ Hope you'll reach your desired number of subs soon. All the best 🤞
@@TheUnperson yes, you are waaaay up north up there, huh? I'm in los angeles where the days only get a couple hours shorter in the winter. but I think all this sun is a bit overrated. I'd trade it for the greenery of your homeland a thousand times over. truly, I would.
I like using a DAW and an external controller with a slider to record knob movements -- it's much quicker than turning the orange knobs like 20 times! And you can get some interesting motion effects. Also velocity to sample start is often good
@annother3350 The knob speed has certainly proven a pain for many! Thankfully since v4 of the firmware, this can be adjusted. Check out Utility/Browsing/Osc Knob Speed. Hopefully that will allow you to set the knob speed to something more manageable.
@@sleudianfrip That is a good tip yes. Personally I still prefer to use an external controller with faders. Besides, one hint of sweat on my hands and the minifreak keyboard f***s up!
Picked up a Microfreak Stellar and am playing with the new sampling mode as we speak…solid move from Arturia to continue support with BRAND NEW features just lumped in to a $350 synth!
Compliments for your music and explanation, really like it! I always have problems with int sequencer and my master (Deluge synthstrom). I want the master's bpm speed as clock/bpm on my microfreak's sequences/ arpeggio's. Any tips? Thanks!!!!
You can just scroll down beyond the factory samples and store your own samples there. I think with the factory samples theres still around 60 seconds of sample time. You dont have to replace the bank. Also samples have to be mono and 32bit I believe

Thanks for the kind words, it’s really appreciated ☺️
As someone who just picked up the microfreak and drumbrute impact....this is life changing. Amazing tunes and demo. Thank you so much 👾
beautifully musical examples - thank you!
No thank you!
I'm finally home from work & digging into this vid. I'm way into it!! lovely lighting here, by the way!!
Thank you! I use the light from my window, which makes winter videos more difficult when there’s only about 3 hours of daylight in Scotland lol

Nice vid thanks. Fellow Scot here in exile hunting for inspiration after applying the upgrade.
I'm really excited that you're doing this vid. yaaaaay!!
Me too! :D

Jezo… you won a micro freak in a raffle !
Haha I know! It was at a synth shop that I do some work with too, but I promise it wasn’t rigged!
Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t sell my microfreak. 😣
Haha still got it?

@@sinane.y oh yes, thanks
Thanks ~ good to know! I think I’m used to the op1 with next to no space on it lol
Ah it would be so much better if the grain rate went into audio rates
It’s so close!
I would subscribe a thousand times more, if I could ❤
hear, hear!!
I’d love it if you could haha!
Ok this encourages me to stop being lazy and just update the firmware lol
Haha do it! 😃
