Glad to see someone of his caliber talking about wanting the music to give the listener goosebumps. As opposed to making catchy hooks that stick in your head or are marketable because they follow the basic moneymaking formula that all the mainstream "artists" use.

Some songs sound like he's gone in and individually added completely different glitches and pops for every note in the entire song, like building a song painstakingly, one sample at a time and listening to it again and again to get that minimalist percussion perfect.

the way you can set your route note and scale globally is great with this synth. f# route note and minor scale all day for me. i have found some issues with the freak though. when i put it through my korg kaos quad the effect do not work on it. something to do with the weird mono stuff the freak does. strange. i may do a post demonstrating it as i cant really explain it.

Interesting that he uses (reads off of the screen:) Tape mello fi ' always' eventhough that hasnt been released that long lol. But I guess he's a little bit the guy that really gets into new stuff.
