The British people, whether they recognise it or not, are regretting being tied to the WEF, not just the EU.
We did not have so much bregret, as we have annoyance that the EU has sought to punish the UK for wanting to be a sovereign country.
Rising costs were not from Brexit, but from WEF imposed effects that caused all kinds of attacks on British national and personal economies, while the WEF does nothing about China INCREASING CO2 from coal fired power plants.
If global warming is such a problem that the rest of the world has to cancel its own use of fossil fuels and even think about attacking its own farmers, why don't the global elite give care about the country that is already responsible for nearly a 1/3 of CO2 and other greenhouse gases. Instead they are still encouraging us to buy more and more from China.
If you don't see that there is something more than suspicious in that world, you need to see some kind of mental optician. You have got to almost completely blind.

If global warming is anything human beings can do anything at all to deal with, it needs to start with China, that is alone responsible for over 30% of CO2 and other emissions. And yet the WEF doesn't even advise us to stop buying from China.
They must secretly be absolutely delighted with global warming - they can't get enough of it.

Irresponsible, is a mild way of describing the British government. I am British and I am terrified with the appalling decisions they are making. Please remember, less than 20% of UK voters voted for this government. If you look at the state of Europe now, I am not sorry we left the European Union.

Your analysis is way off the mark. Firstly, as a Brit, I've never heard the term Bregret and the vast majority of people who voted for Brexit would do so again. The problem is that Brexit hasn't been fully implemented. It was a very half hearted move by politicians who didn't really believe in it. Second the reason the majority voted for Brexit was because of the over reach by the European Union and the imposition of laws that were not in the British interest (or many others for that matter). Thirdly, since Brexit the UK ecomony has out performed nearly all EU countries. Mass migration is a big problem, not only from the drain on resources, but none of these illegal immigrants have been vetted. Nobody has any clue who these people are or what they are capable of.
Spineless politicians and woke civil servants put pay to Brexit, Elon will sort out this fake E.U.rule which will not stand up to Putin.

Observing, thinking and analyzing is better than googling. As a truism, it can be said that most societies have prospered through a layer of cheap labor. America's prosperity comes in part from cheap labor from South America. Too much is too much - but the effect cannot be argued away. With regard to the UK, it can be said that the productivity of the many European foreign workers is simply missing.

You forget the difficult economic situation in the 1970s. The EU brought improvement. The decline began when the neoliberal economic policy of M. Tacher and R. Regan pushed the market economy aside. In a market, all participants should be treated equally. Neoliberalism favors capital and allows it to take more and more of what the working class and employees lack. Whoever owns the means of production gets the profit. With AI and robotics, the problem for ordinary people is dramatically exacerbated, because AI and robots naturally belong to capital, which will pocket the profits. Brexit - Plans to start leaving were not, repeat NOT, put into practice.
On the contrary, the whole UK establishment started plotting about the best way to frustrate, derail and then reverse the wishes of the electorate who voted for the UK to leave.

It did technically. It left the Single Market and the Customs Union as part of the precess putting and end to freedom of movement too. So, yes, the UK is outside the EU, but there are a lot of connections that haven't been severed that should have been.

This is rubbish, we never left the EU properly. As of last dec there were still over 1000 eu laws in the UK, and the NI situation is ridiculous. We have all been let down by politicians who just didnt like what the majority said. That was the start of the rot. As below ... no regrets on voting for Brexit ... regret that the opposition tied the hands of the persons 'negotiating' Brexit as they did not have the go-ahead to have a 'no deal' Brexit outcome, which would have woken up the EU as we are one of their main importers of goods, especially on expensive items such as German cars. Without that 'bargaining chip', they were left with both hands tied behind their backs unable to negotiate from a position of power and strength.
