I own the Flip 6 and it is just amazing! Small, portable with a big sound. I can carry it to anywhere even in the shower. I attach the speaker to my backpack and I can go around with the awesome sound it has. I recommend to put the speaker in a corner for an enhanced bass.

I love the charge 5 because it’s perfectly handheld. Could use a boombox-style handle but I just hold it in my palm
as Caddy said they are both good however one has better battery life and the ability to charge your device while the latter is more portable. You can compare the two just as you can compare any other two speakers.
Believe me, I own a black charge 5. As time and usage progress, the sound quality enhances. Despite its compact size, the bass is phenomenal. I have been utilizing it for three years with no complications, except that the rubber bands beneath the speaker have worn out.

i just picked up one of these Charge 5s used for like $100 from a pawn shop, and all i gotta say is wow… i’m blown away. this small little thing has no business having the performance it does, but that damn thing packs a powerful punch!! it’s better than the Beats Pill my Mom has, and i think that thing also sounds pretty good. best $100 (actually $95) that i’ve ever spent!
If your torn between a new Jbl ,the charge 5 is honestly perfect in my opinion, bought it brand new mostly out of impulse because i love collecting and it was brand new at the time and i had no information about it other than the basic knowledge but man since than it was the best 200+ bucks i ever spent on anything for entertainment, just buy one i promise you wont be disappointed, the sound is awesome,the clarity and bass is almost second to none even with competitive brands,UE,Sony,Bose etc, mind you i dont have all of the other speakes in the same class all i know is the charge 5 is damn near perfect

I still have the charge 3. Great speaker still holds a charge. There was a few months almost a year where it wouldn’t charge past the first 3 dots. A few days ago it randomly charged full. But I purchased the charge 5 about an hour ago and I’m on my way to pick it up

@BeastModeDanny Nice. Choosing between a flip 6 and charge 5. (Or wait for this year charge 6). Flip 5 has better size to carrying. Best thing to do is to try it in a store I belive.
@@yamahass66 charge 5 would be better imo. It’s not that big you can easily toss it in a bag even carry it in your hand with no issues. Better sound overall

Well, the Charge 5 is bigger step up from flip compared to Xtreme to Charge 5 step up. The charge 5 still fits in the backpack with other work tools, components and safety gear/first aid. Xtreme cannot do that. The Xtreme does not deliver that much more bass for its volume. My vote goes to Charge5/Boombox 3 combo. If Partybox Encore was $50-100 cheaper, that would be interesting too.

You can’t compare speakers of two different sizes. Someone might have both of these speakers. You can’t be like oh well this speaker is better then this one that is smaller or larger. They are used for different use cases.

Theres better speakers for less. It has to be plugged in so you might as well have an actual setup or just get a different speaker if you want something loud and portable I would say get a soundboks
It's a great speaker. Bass will knock pictures off the wall. But too expensive! I like my 2 bb3s...PLENTY BASS 4 ME.

JBL is falling off. Both speakers are mono only. You have to get two of the same to get stereo sound. Also they wont work in partyboost with any device other than a phone or tablet. Will not work with TVs, computers or Nintendo switch in party boost. Above all, they are missing a mic so no phone calls. All that and its more expensive than past models. Trash!
