    I bought a Laguna IQ and now Im in the market for our large CNC And Alot has to do with Router Bob and his breaking down of things, It took me awhile to figure out where he went. So here I am. Ill be talking to someone shortly about one of these machines.

    2 questions.
    How do you cut them out thru, without sacrificial sheet of mdf underneath? Or is there one?
    Also, how much HP spindle do I need in order to be able to cut thru 3/4” melamine, and r prefinished mdf with compression bit? (Edgebander ready quality) meaning all in 1 pass?

      Is there a way to pocket the back of the doors? Adding the detail of a five piece door.

      @shopsabre  4 года назад

      Not sure we understand what you mean? You can double side machine by simply flipping the sheet before cutting parts out

      @@shopsabre Yeah can you flip the sheet and create the rail and style effect instead of a flat back for each door.

      Yes you can machine on both sides - just a programming and positioning thing for the operator

    How long did it take the machine to produce all of the fronts

    • @shopsabre
      @shopsabre  Год назад

      Thank you, ultimately time can be determined by a number of things but on average a full sheet of doors can be completed between 15-25 minutes depending on geometry and complexity. We did this project 5 years ago so don't recall the exact timing on this specific video but programming and machines here at ShopSabre have only gotten faster since then.

    How do you keep MDf doors from warping?

    • @shopsabre
      @shopsabre  10 месяцев назад

      You have to use door grade MDF and follow the proper procedures for production. When you buy a ShopSabre you have Free Tech Support and our team will help.

    How come when I enter my door sizes into the order list there is no option for me to get them into the optimizer?

    • @shopsabre
      @shopsabre  2 года назад

      You’ll want to call your cabinet software company for their support on that item

      @@shopsabre but i use mozaik like in this video, when router bob says let’s go to optimize you can’t actually see what he clicks. And I can’t find anywhere to click to get to optimizer with my list of doors.

      @@jay11111111100 Unfortunately without seeing it we aren't much help for this. It could be a different version, but definitely call Mozaik and they can help you out.
