So good. Avi has a beautiful voice. That was Tim doing the low note at the end. Home Free did this live at the Sing Off (the NBC show in 2013), and Tim went even lower at the end on the show! Such a clever rendition. Adam, the beatboxer, is amazing. Great reaction, “Home Freakin Free”……hahaha love it!😍
Avi Kaplan was the bass with Pentatonix until he left in 2017 - he has a successful solo career as a singer songwriter now. Start with his 'Change on the Rise' - you'll be blown away.
Homefry here. If you want to start down that rabbit hole with Avi, I'd suggest your first taste of Pentatonix should be "Hallelujah". Both Pentatonix and Home Free are awesome acapella groups. Then, add Voiceplay to that and you'll be on an awesome voyage. They are all excellent in their right.
Loving your reactions. Home Freaking Free might now be my fav name for them. Freaking fabulous is right on! Thanks for reacting to these guys. It is very fun to watch. Cannot quite explain why but it is. I ran down the same rabbit hole and it is very deep and keeps going. They are fabulous live
You should check out Avis solowork! It is awsome. Sweet Adeline pt2, Change on the rise, Aberdeen, and many more, every song has its different glamour to it and written by him.❤
If you like Avi you should react to Change in the Rise!!! Great reaction ❤❤❤❤... Other song from Avi is Get Down and When I'm a Fool... Olease check it out his solo career, it's mind blowing!!! Send you hugs from Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱😘
I don't know about you but this song turns me inside out every time. Their voices are so versatile,Avi going high to low and Tim going low to high leading Austin to fly through the stratosphere.
Hey, Ashley. Home Free has put out a fun new song that will blow your headphones off with bass, and it's not just Tim, Chance jumps in on the bass too. The song stays in your head all day, It's called "Skull And Bones." ☠ I think they're trying to pitch it to Ubisoft for the game. I hope to see you soon.👍
I love that you are exploring Home Freakin Free. Lol. These covers got them their start and are great. They have been putting out albums of original music too and these guys are also gifted writers. They just won 6 more Telly Awards for their music videos. Check out Whats Left Of My Heart, written by Tim Foust, the bass. Other new songs written by Austin Brown, high tenor, are the Stargazer trilogy starting with Give Me A Sign, then Stargazer Lily, part 3 will be released shortly.
This song is done in a country reggae beat. It showcases the higher & lower ranges of both Tim Foust & Avi Kaplan. That last note of Tim is impressive with how low he goes, but more impressive is how long he sustains the note. On the "Sing Off Show" that Home Free won in 2013 Tim goes even lower on this song "Ring Of Fire" & he impressed the judges so much that they gave them a standing ovation. And Adam Rupp once again was stellar in his vocal percussion.
A - Two more HF videos and you'll be ready for HF's cover of "Mayday!" This is one of their best-ever performances...but you can't appreciate it fully until you are well acquainted with the guys and their voices. You've heard good examples of the tenors (Austin and Rob) and bass (Tim), but you haven't heard Chance take the lead. That's easily fixed! This is Memorial Day weekend, and now's the perfect time to watch HF's cover of Dire Straits' song "Brothers in Arms" ( ruclips.net/video/_ChD2WjD2tY/видео.html ). This video features HF's deep voices (Tim and Chance) and its somber message is fitting for our annual celebration of those service men and women who put on the uniform and never got to take it off.
I'm loving all of the Home Free reactions! Now that you've been introduced to Avi, you also need to check out Pentatonix and later on, Voiceplay. Those 2 round out the Acapella trifecta of amazing groups. Avi is also known to be able to do overtone singing, which is not easy at all to do and you can hear on some of the earlier Pentatonix songs. And Geoff CastellucciI, the bass singer for Voiceplay, Avi (formerly of Pentatonix and the one featured in this song, and Tim Foust (the bass from Home Free) are all friends who have different vocal styles but love to share low note singing tips. I also wholly endorse Voctave as well just for good measure as Kate's amazing soprano notes in most of their arrangements give me such chills.
Ashley you haven't scratched the surface of Home Frees library! Hopefully you continue to enjoy the ride of great vocals and music! Loved the reaction...lol ..please give us more! FYI: your voice and or vocals during the recording seem a bit muffled, not sure if it's a filter or mic cover. peace
If you want a feel good song from homefree, my fellow homefry, look up 'love train' by them! Their cover of the O'Jays was so fantastic! Have fun traveling this roller coaster of a rabbit hole! Great reaction to this song and keep it up!
Love these guys. Check out Pentatonix. They are another acapella group. They won the 1st season of the sing off. One of my favorite songs by them is Amazing Grace/My Chains Are Gone.
I absolutely love Home Free. They are so good at what they do and look like they are having so much fun doing it. Another acapella group you can check out that Avi Kaplan was a part of is Pentatonix. I am sure I am not the first, nor will I be the last to suggest them. Might I suggest Hallelujah by Pentatonix to start off with.
Hi, Ashley! I know you are loving Home Free! I think you would also really enjoy another accapella group called Voiceplay. Would love to see you react to them! ❤
Now that you've met Avi Kaplan, know that he was previously with the acapella band Pentatonix. I recommend their "Amazing Grace" for you to react to. Another rabbit hole!.
WELL HERE YOU ARE! WELCOME! You have SO much to explore with these guys. Perhaps, to mellow-out a little, try “One Man Band”, to giggle and laugh a little, check out “Champagne Beer on a Beer Budget”, …. then if you want your emotions wrung-out and hung to dry, try “Brothers in Arms”. (Keep some tissues handy, your gonna need them).
Adam Rupp during one of their concerts does a drum solo and goes into All kinds all kinds of sounds it’s a trip to actually watch him do it I think you would enjoy it a lot
Now that you know the members and the 'parts' that they play (the two tenors, the beat boxer, the bass, and the baritone), you need to listen to their cover of Cam's. Mayday.
Both Avi and Tim have blown out speakers with their low notes during concerts. You should check those videos out too. Bot are pretty short, so you could combine the two and do one video. And when you are done going don this rabbit hose with Home Free, you have Avi's old group PTX, I especially like the pre 2017 when Avi was with the group, but Mat has done a good job of filling Avi's shoes. Then you can start down the Voice Play rabbit hole with Geoff Castellucci. Geoff, Tim and Avi are arguably the best three basses on YourTube right now.
Highly recommend Hoist the Colors, We Don't Talk about Bruno and Dragonborn. And of course all of Geoffe's solo work is beyond wow (ghost riders, headless horseman, 16 tons...) There's a lot of really good acapella talent out there but these are the best.
Hey Guys, do you think Ashley is ready for Home Free "May Day" yet? Seem like she has an appropriate level of appreciation for the groups range and abilities. May be time to really blow her mind. Let her know what you think.
You're still on their old ones. Wait until you start getting into their newer songs. Their current trilogy is amazing! I've loved HF for 4 years and I'm still hearing new/old favorites.
If you watch a live video or attend concert, they say they are the 1st and ONLY complete country vocal band with no musical instruments (except for their voices). My HF faves are: x Man of Constant Sorrow x Ring of Fire (w/ Avi Kaplan) / American Pie (w/ Don McLean) / God Bless the USA (w/ Lee Greenwood & US Air Force band) / Sea Shanty Medley / Butts Remix (April Fool's Day 2015 release) / Elvira (w/ The Oak Ridge Boys) In Austin Brown's (tenor no glasses) YT channel, he and Rob Lundquist (bearded tenor) have a go at singing 'Nessun Dorma' (opera). ruclips.net/video/5dBENngNDhs/видео.html Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, has about 7-8 minute solo video from a live concert that is pretty amazing. ruclips.net/video/EanKWLUaDpg/видео.html
Glad you enjoyed it. But you need to fix your mic. It sounds like people talking from behind a wall. You can tell it's a human voice but you can't make our the words.
If you have the ability to adjust the settings on your mic... you may want to reduce the mid and increase the treble. You unfortunately sounded somewhat muffled... kinda like if you were on the other side of a window.
Sweetheart, You may need to talk in the other side of your microphone OR you need to buy a small mixer to balance your sound. You sound muffled when you talk.
I would have liked to hear your reaction, but your voice is muffled. Do you have too much echo, reverb, or bass on your microphone? The voices in the video you played were perfect. That’s why I suggest the issue is with your mic.
So good. Avi has a beautiful voice. That was Tim doing the low note at the end. Home Free did this live at the Sing Off (the NBC show in 2013), and Tim went even lower at the end on the show! Such a clever rendition. Adam, the beatboxer, is amazing. Great reaction, “Home Freakin Free”……hahaha love it!😍
I love Avi’s voice. So smooth and mellow, like a cello. 😊
Avi Kaplan was the bass with Pentatonix until he left in 2017 - he has a successful solo career as a singer songwriter now. Start with his 'Change on the Rise' - you'll be blown away.
Yes please
Oh, yes. It's fabulous.
Love that song
AMAZING PERFORMANCE, VOICES and TALENT - STUNNING ~ EXCELLENT REACTION ASHLEY !!
Avi has a solo career now. Check out his original song Change on the Rise.
"Sound of Silence" by Pentatonix...I promise you will not be disappointed.
They are indeed all awesome. And Hallelujah is a good call for PTX but Avi left them in 2017 and has his own career now. Yet another rabbit hole!
@@shirleymoffat3338 indeed! 🙂

Loving your reactions! Can't wait to see what you choose next! Listen to the Music or How Great Thou Art are great choices!
If you like Avi you should react to Change in the Rise!!! Great reaction ❤❤❤❤... Other song from Avi is Get Down and When I'm a Fool... Olease check it out his solo career, it's mind blowing!!! Send you hugs from Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱😘
Their voices just melt every part of your body..🏠🆓🏠🍟
I don't know about you but this song turns me inside out every time. Their voices are so versatile,Avi going high to low and Tim going low to high leading Austin to fly through the stratosphere.
Check out Listen to the Music and Take Me Home Country Road...two other great
ones. Home-freakin' Free is exactly right❤
Adam Ropp (the beat boxer) is a beast, they each are gifted in their own ways. Quality!

Nice timing babe, i was singing this all the way home on the highway today.....good stuff

Welcome to the homefries!!!! We're glad to have you here!🙏
A reggae beat behind ring of fire brilliant
Their cover of love train showcases a bunch of home fries home videos.
I absolutely love Home Free. They are so good at what they do and look like they are having so much fun doing it. Another acapella group you can check out that Avi Kaplan was a part of is Pentatonix. Thise guy's are awesome
You have become one of my favorite reactors. You will be at 25,000 before you know it.
You haven't heard a cappella until you've listened to Pentatonix's 'Halleluja'.
Hi, Ashley! I know you are loving Home Free! I think you would also really enjoy another accapella group called Voiceplay. Would love to see you react to them! ❤
Pentatonix is another a capella group you should listen to

Both Avi and Tim have blown out speakers with their low notes during concerts. You should check those videos out too. Bot are pretty short, so you could combine the two and do one video. Avi Kaplan: Change on the Rise. 'Nuff Said.
You might like to check out their Mashup of "Thinking out loud/ Lets get it on".
If you love the ones you have done so far ... try Home Free's version of "End of the Road".
Check out their cover of Elvira, featuring The Oak Ridge Boys, the original artists of the song. They did a great job with that one.
Homefree is one of a kind without a doubt. Adventure down the rabbit hole with Voiceplay and Geoff Castillucci, their bass singer.
Highly recommend Hoist the Colors, We Don't Talk about Bruno and Dragonborn. And of course all of Geoffe's solo work is beyond wow (ghost riders, headless horseman, 16 tons...) There's a lot of really good acapella talent out there but these are the best.
🔥🤠🔥
If you want to listen to the most emotional and beautiful song I have ever heard, try Home Free's One Voice with Billy Gilmam.
I think she's ready for "Mayday"
React to
HOME FREE'S cover of
"LOVE TRAIN"
&
"MY CHURCH"
You'll love them👍🏼
Keep up the good work ASHLEY
💯🙏🏾❤️✌🏼
Super
Love Home Free. When you can check out Janis Joplin singing "Ball and Chain" live at Monterey Pop festival
Love your reactions
You wouldn’t think HF and Janis would appeal the same people, yet here we are. 🥂
AND NOW YOU MUST HEAR THE OTHER BEST ACAPELLA GROUP EVER...PENTATONIX (start with HALLELUJAH! and enjoy)
Home free I swear
They made that song when they were on The Sing Off Season 4, Avi wasn't there then.
And another Acapella group is Voiceplay.
Do the Home Free cover of Elvira with the original artists The Oak Ridge Boys. You will get blown away that Home Free is not the only ones to do this.
This is a Jonny Cash song originally, but like they say they do upgrades.
Please do "Walking this land" by Home Free. It's amazing.
Hey Guys, do you think Ashley is ready for Home Free "May Day" yet? Seem like she has an appropriate level of appreciation for the groups range and abilities. May be time to really blow her mind. Let her know what you think.
Home Free this is my church next please
Hi there!
👍👍👍😎🇸🇪💕
If you want to see something different from Homefree, you need to react to "the Butts Medley". You will have a fantastic time with it.
Listen to Home Free’s song Mayday
Butts remix. And remember it's all vocal
My HF faves are:
x Man of Constant Sorrow
x Ring of Fire (w/ Avi Kaplan)
/ American Pie (w/ Don McLean)
/ God Bless the USA (w/ Lee Greenwood & US Air Force band)
/ Sea Shanty Medley
/ Butts Remix (April Fool's Day 2015 release)
/ Elvira (w/ The Oak Ridge Boys)
In Austin Brown's (tenor no glasses) YT channel, he and Rob Lundquist (bearded tenor) have a go at singing 'Nessun Dorma' (opera).
ruclips.net/video/5dBENngNDhs/видео.html
Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, has about 7-8 minute solo video from a live concert that is pretty amazing.
ruclips.net/video/EanKWLUaDpg/видео.html
Have you not checked out Pentatonix yet??? Start with Hallelujah ❤
You should hear voiceplay another accapella group songs are either oogie boogie or the mountain king they will blow your mind
If you want to see how low Tim Foust can get them you should check out Misty Mountain with Peter Hollens
Next do there butts remix please
Check out Pentatonix
Sweetheart, You may need to talk in the other side of your microphone OR you need to buy a small mixer to balance your sound. You sound muffled when you talk.
Have you listened to pentatonix?
I like you, so I will leave you a comment.
Song audio is good. I want to hear you better, too. Sounds like you're muted. But like your reaction.
I would have liked to hear your reaction, but your voice is muffled. Do you have too much echo, reverb, or bass on your microphone? The voices in the video you played were perfect. That’s why I suggest the issue is with your mic.
Your so cute I love your reactions
I see you have a sweater on this time. It’s such a great old song by Johnny Cash. You will continue to be surprised by Home Free. Great reaction!
