The camaraderie factor with THP is on another level! It doesn’t matter which two are hunting together it’s like they have been doing it together forever! Love the show! Haven’t had the gusto for deer season this year thus far. But starting to come around too it!

I'm fortunate enough to live here in Colorado. But if you're from out of state, there's a hell of a lot to learn, a lot of work and a lot of time and money. Did you hear them say they've been working that area for 2 years? But there's a lot of help nowadays. Good luck.
Great time hunting elk but they call way too much.
Only way to do it....is to do it! Me and another first time hunter went last year and loved it. Seen elk, heard elk, enjoyed the country. Beware tho...once you go, you'll have it in your blood to keep going back!
Great hunt guy's. Me and my brother just left Colorado on a otc hunt. We managed to pull it off on the next to last day with a nice 6 point. Wish we could have got it on video. Can't wait till next year. Goodluck on all yalls hunting adventures

I was very fortunate to live in Colorado but the career came first.
I lived at 9800 right with the elk deer bears and saw a few sheep also.
Being young and in shape is a big advantage so guys don't wait till your older to take on these hunts.
It was a good day when on the way to work you see a 380 bull 5 minutes from the house.

Good friends hunting together, you boys are blessed. Slow way down, wind is everything in elk hunting. Bugle less cow call instead. You will rarely pull a bull off his cows, he will take them and leave. Keep having fun and look forward to more great footage 😀

My dream has always been to take an elk with my bow. I'm 57 now and the years have slid by. Unfortunately I don't see it happening. Beautiful video. Great footage. Amazing how that bull climbed right up the side of that mountain.

@@The_Judge300 Little of both, money and my knees aren't what they used to be. Plus second marriage new house and job at age 50. I don't have a lot of vacation time. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy and still hunt and all. Things change in your mind 50's.

Best camp with a portable electric fence in bear country. Lightest is 2.4 lbs. small kit for huge peace of mind.

A thought about communication 2 way radios can be clutch if you are trying to coordinate across mountainsides like that, sometimes if you are trying to finish a stalk you need to shut them off but if you are traversing and the elk are up it allows the spotters to give you real time updates. Even having 3 of them in your group would allow you to split up and keep tabs with each other better.
They are good to use if legal while hunting there.
I know some areas it is forbidden to use 2 way radios when in an active hunt.
It’s crazy I don’t know what to say because it’s like unreal to be able to do what u guys did..like ur doin what so many people myself included ..have on there bucket list and you capture it so good like I was one edge of my seat lol..great job! CAnt wait for deer season!

Been waiting for a new video! On the edge of my seat!! So intense, I am very unfortunate to be able to even attempt this anymore after my bought with Cancer ♋️. I am in remission, unfortunately I’m disabled due to the chemo of one lung and the cancer causing bone damage. Can not wait to see you all back together on the mountain. Empty feeling I imagine? Did I hear “you got ‘em Jake”?!?! Can not wait for the next video!

You should see reindeer and caribou as well.
It is just amazing how fast those animals can move through extremely tough terrain and not even running.
