The reason they never blew up like they should've is because they went from run of the mill metalcore band, to a BMTH clone, to a Architects (alibet great) clone. They're settling into their own sound and it's paying off.
@@icanmakeeverythingilovedie9861 Personally, I find that this song sounds more like (older) Architects than their last album (Turn the Light on) did, which was already very unique and strong.
Not to mention, these guys do acoustic versions of songs better than any other metalcore band out there. I'll bet money that these guys are gonna be one of the next "big bands" of the decade.
One of my favorite bands. I remember seeing them live a few years back with like 30 people max in the crowed in Gothenburg makes me so happy to see how far they've gotten and getting the recognition they deserve!
I’ve been listening to this band for years. Finally they are getting more recognition. Their first EP is amazing as well - it’s on the heavier side - but nothing quite like this track. 🔥
Love and Grace is the best outro to an epic album that I have heard in a long time. It started off with a banger, and ended on a somber, thought-provoking note. Not many bands can pull it off like Imminence. Also, this song is unbelievable. Eddie might be the best vocalist in metal that no one knows.
Completely agree. I know a lot of bands try to put a ballad here and there, but Love and Grace is heart-wrenchingly emotional. It reminds me a lot of 'Me and You' from Marmozets' 'Knowing What You Know Now' (completely different genre but just a track that is on another emotional level to everything else on the same album.) Imminence have a gift for that melodic metalcore and a lot of it is the passion in Eddie's vocals - the acoustic version of This Is Goodbye is so chilling in the last chorus.
I always asked myself if you ever listened to this band before, because there was not a single reaction to them on your channel. Good to know you listened to their latest album and love it!
Get amongst Heaven in hiding! His vocals in this track is amazing! Surprise at the end!! Bomb!! 🔥🔥🔥other than that. Temptation is by far the heaviest. And my absolute favourite!
I'd be interested how many people found Imminence through RUclips recommendations? I certainly did but I've seen loads of others say the same. I think it was around when last album came out. Really are one of most interesting and unique bands around.... Really excited for the new album!!
Sam Carter is better now than he was previously having seen them 3 times in 2021. Just because they changed genre doesnt degrade the fact he’s a better vocalist than almost everyone in metalcore
This is Goodbye turned me away from this band completely but I heard great things about their last album and I like the prospect of a live violinist in the band. This is the first song I’ve heard since 2017 and it got me wanting to check out their latest!
@@medusa6491 They are for sure but idk why Hard Core, Metalbirb and basically the entire metalcore community ignore them probably as like a covers only band.
@@denis_musicreviews1774 Plus they're from around where I'm originally from in New England so I've always had their back throughout the sound change too.
Finally people are giving this band attention, they are really good at combining violin and metalcore
I really agree on this comment mate.
@FactoryOfSuffering1977 they’re so fucking good I’ve been listening for about 7 years now and they always put out their best!

I disagree. I think they are really good at punching passion through the back of your head regardless of instrument

Their acoustic is good, but Wolves at the Gate smoked everyone with "Dawn".
These guys are filling the void that Architects left in the metalcore genre. Well done, fellas.
Sad to say, but yes.
I like their new album, but yeah I agree. Didn’t satisfy the part of me that was looking for something more along these lines
What? Their new albun is fucking lit.
@@thursdayfivenine3106 may be good for you, but it is definitely not a good METALCORE album
R.I.P. Architects
One of my favorite bands. I remember seeing them live a few years back with like 30 people max in the crowed in Gothenburg makes me so happy to see how far they've gotten and getting the recognition they deserve!
YES! :D
This band deserves so much attention. Everything about them is so good
I fell in love with this band with Infectious. So good.
Me too
Infectious so amazing
I’ve been listening to this band for years. Finally they are getting more recognition. Their first EP is amazing as well - it’s on the heavier side - but nothing quite like this track. 🔥
Finally someone else whose been there since the beginning 🙏🏼✊🏼🔥 I’m practically one of their day one fans
We need a cover of this with you on vocals, Nik on guitar, and Wyatt on drums. That'd be fucking nuts.
I love so much when a band I’ve followed since their first few songs gets so much hype down the road.
I absolutely loved their last album as well and was NOT expecting this song to be so heavy
Samee

The Descent by Polaris is also a REALLY good closing track !

You should listen to Dark, Infinite - Bury Tomorrow that closing track is a banger
Imminence finally getting the recognition they deserve. Turn the light on was has been the album of the year 2019 by a landslide!

@@Rizwaan122 wait wtf, the black flame album was incredible! You can’t tell me Stormbringer doesn’t make you want to run through a wall.
@@Rizwaan122 yeah I can agree with the mixing part.
One of the best song I heard this year!...its like old Architects and his voice is similar to Sam Carter :)
Been recommending them on your channel for a couple of years and you’ve been listening to them all along! Song was so sick!
Loved their last album and this song is building on the groundwork they laid. 10/10 - can’t wait for more!
I love Imminence they are spectacular thanks for sharing your review. 🙆🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎸❤❤👏👏👏
Welp found my new favorite song. This mix is so clean the heavy mix with violin giving those chills so reals!
Get amongst Heaven in hiding! His vocals in this track is amazing! Surprise at the end!! Bomb!! 🔥🔥🔥other than that. Temptation is by far the heaviest. And my absolute favourite!
My men from Sweden!!❤ I love them! They never disappoint!🔥🔥
After Lost in a wave by Landmvrks, looks like the "head plunged underwater / shot upside down" is gonna be in every music video for 2021
And songs titled paralyzed
Well, both videos are done by the same director. Not rare that people use stuff from their trick book more than once :)
heard them live in Basel, swizerland. they perform really good. greetings from swizerlands🙌
Finally some imminence! I hope they get the attention they deserve 🔥
Thank you for showing me this band. I'm in love right now.
This was amazing this is by far the best song they've done straight masterpiece
Just found them with this single and man are they good. Need to listen to all their stuff now! 🤘
2021 is producing some absolute bangers. Almost every new track coming out is going straight to my playlist.
Bro what how have I never heard of these guys before they’re fking siiiiick that chorus is like a breakdown itself 🔥🔥🔥
This band can do no wrong. Love these guys.
I love seeing people react so passionately to music
Hell yeah dude! Love this band!
We need a Lighthouse cover by them!😁😁 song is heavy as balls!
Lighthouse is my favourite album from Imminence
You really put the ad right before that breakdown dropped. You son of a.🤣
Thank you for introducing me to this band. Holy shit!
song is so sick, I learned to play that lead too 🤘
Turn the Light On is such a sick record too
Definitely my favorite song this year.... easy!!!!!!❤
2021 isn't finish

Amazinggg song , loved your reaction ! ❤️
Finally some Imminence!
violin-core
Imminence is so underrated.
Listen to To the Light so insane
YO THIS TRACK IS FUCKING AMAZING !!!! .....can’t wait till their new album.
As a Swede, I was blown away too, and a little bit proud
Eddie is low key one of the best metalcore vocalists in the business. Reminds me of when Sam Carter used to be good.
Fuck the used to be
Fk you with the "used to be". He is now better live then he ever was
Wanting to do something different doesn't mean he turned bad.
Edgy comment alert

best song of 2021 for me
This year is stacked with really fuckin good music
Never heard this band before...
But Jesus fucking Christ they are good
Bro, that was great. Gotta give these a listen. There's a new video for Katahdin's new EP btw...
Imminence are so fucking good
This song is a masterpiece ❤❤
"Angel or alien"~ BOO best song of 2021
"Temptation"~TDWP
Love this band. Thanks to this awesome song more people will listen to them. 🔥
Absolutely dope!
Scandanavian metal is unbeatable.
Our favorite violin core is back
I'm thinking you probably might enjoy VOLA as well - Check out Stray the Skies or Inmazes by them!
First time hearing smt from em, love this
Most underrated band ever
Its an Amazing track 🙏

Sweden...that's all you had to say...from Sweden😆❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥...and then "metal violin"...
these guys slap!
Daze of June Feat. Courtney LaPlante - Hypnos. A really great track!
ok, which albums of theirs do i need to check out guys?
I’ll drop a like on your cover video if you play violin too while crushing vocals
Might want to check out Caliban - nICHts
Not as good as this but still very solid.
Have you checked out Lighthouse by this band? Probably TOTYC 2019 for me.
actually best song of 2021
I agree with your title.
How have I never heard of this band?
The Shrek reference lmao :D
This song is sooo goooooood!
That violin is just filthy

You’ve said this about erra and WSS...
OMGGGG IM SOOO PISSED I GOT AN AD ON THE F*ING BREAKDOWN 😭😭😭
Love the reaction!!
I would love seeing you do a reaction to my band As we burn, we are also a metalcore from Sweden!
Every time he says temptation take a drink
Fuck ,yeah!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
React to SHERIDAN - I MISS COLOR
Smells like 2016 metalcore riff
While She Sleeps with a violin.
Violincore is Imminence
Try not to headbang!!!
BEST SONG OF 2021: No, Gojira has just released her new album, so...
their album was underwhelming, Imminence on the other hand is fucking amazing
I really do not get why people enjoy Gojira. Their music sounds for me like a confused mumbo jumbo.
"Angel or alien 👽" ~BOO
Darker By Design is this but better so you should check it out!
D I S G U S T E N G
hooooooooooly FUCK
they sound a lot like architects
Sounds like Architects.
violin is a bit too gimmicky for me but god damn this shit goes hard
This is just the heavier version of Hurt
nah, this is just imminence banging out and being the most underrated band in the scene
4:32 indianajones 2 wtf xD
😍😍😍😍😍
You’d be awesome at what I do
Please react to the new Our Last Night song! They don't seem to get enough love.
